Realistically the vast majority of guys are beholden to something (most to a job for life) and I remain married for benefits (free housing given to my wife by her parents and a visa for her country). While I spend a month or two solo a year it's a long time in prison until I'm truely free, but even then I still need to pay bills etc. and can't just say "fuck it I'm just going to chill all day and not pay any HOA fees or anything".
