Absolutely. A guy confided in me today that he was being falsely accused of rape by his girlfriend's vindictive roommate. I immediately believed him and gave him advice. Then my friend told me that the accuser had told him about it. It didn't occur to me that she could just not be lying. With the slew of false accusations being publicized, I have taken these accusations far less seriously. I'm the opposite of people who believe in rape accusations right away. I think they're false right away. Pr…

The guy was already reluctant to be with her because of the age gap and her original post still blames him for being manipulative and taking advantage of her? Then when the sub rightfully calls her out she talks about her past trauma and tries to paint herself as a victim? Women really will justify anything to themselves and men will really do anything for women. Just another reason to avoid relationships.

I remember this being mentioned a while back and I read through the whole piece. Too bad science today is politicized and things like this won't get studied and suppressed if found.

Women do compete... with each other. They love stealing taken men from other women. So the things they're good at is limited to looking attractive and manipulating people.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say I agree. In this aspect, men are pretty dumb. Women organize themselves to get what they want - see feminism, #MeToo, diversity hiring, etc. And they take advantage of our evolutionary predisosition to value and bend over backwards for women. They're not sustainable, though. The fact MGTOW exists and marriage rates are dropping shows this. Men are gonna simp and society is drilling it in their heads at a young age. They're starting to not even have a c…

Dunno how other men here feel about this blog, but check out The Art of Manliness. I started there for workout and other advice. Also, lift. I can't stress enough how much weight-lifting is beneficial. The number one fastest way to be manlier is to lift. For me, lifting isn't as fun as cardio, but it's a necessity, like brushing my teeth. I do taekwondo and running for my cardio. We evolved to be physically active and we suffer when we're lazy. Lastly, don't be afraid of learning certain "femini…

I like being alone. It's idiotic telling MGTOW they're going to die alone. Yes, we like it this way. We changed our lifestyle for it. Just because we're alone doesn't mean we're lonely.

Amen. That's what makes us happier. We choose the path of self-respect and improvement while feminists/liberals choose perpetual victimhood. We're truly fulfilled and people are ultimately jealous of it.

As you'l learn, there are a ton of double standards for men and women in society. Dating standards is one of them. Men are expected to date women for who they are but women are entitled to Prince Charming.

I'm guessing the plan was for her to find a job to pay her part of the rent/utilities and the boyfriend can't afford to keep her. He isn't the problem in this case. It's disheartening to think the majority response is seeing him in the wrong.

Marriage, for all intents and purposes, is a transaction. If the person with higher income is expected to pay alimony to the other when divorced, then it's a transaction.

I had to cut off my sister to minimal contact. She is borderline and would always get preferential treatment from my parents. It's showed me early on that women aren't the more compassionate, gentle sex as they are claimed to be.

I think my mother is hard-working, compassionate, and genuinely selfless for her children, but she isn't NAWALT. She nags my father constantly, can be really judgemental of him, and probably would have divorced him if it weren't for religious/cultural pressure (gotta love Filipino-Catholic households). My dad is more or less a chauffeur and has told me that love will fade in a marriage and it's a commitment like children that keeps a couple together.

I still wish I could have a happy marriage and have grandchildren for my mom. I think she's one of the few genuinely hardworking women out there and I wonder about how I can fulfill her wish of grandchildren while tolerating a woman. As it stands, I don't even have female friends, yet alone a partner to spend the rest of my life with. I would want to have a surrogate because parenting does appeal to me but I believe children need two-parent households. So I'm just going to live childless. I just…

The redpill rage comments are all very true. I'm not much of a fan of the women memes but I think guys just need to vent. I can speak for myself and others that we do not hate women. The minimum requirement to be a MGTOW, if there is one, is to avoid marriage or any other legal ties to a woman, such as cohabitation. We have evaluated the risks of associating with women and realize they are not worth it. I might not initiate conversations with women, but I still talk to my mother and my sister. I…

I love my mother, but she is hopeless around technology and she enlists me to do everything for her. It gets frustrating to teach her how to do the same thing every month. I'm gonna enroll her in a computers class at some point. I think a lot of people would rather have someone do something for them than learn to be self-sufficient. I think it's a way of differentiating ourselves from the incels. We're not MGTOW because we're incels, many men actually choose to go MGTOW because they have had experience with women before. Not that anyone who equates the two groups would even care to listen.

No one has been able to answer how a man benefits from marriage. Maybe they can in the rare cases that they receive alimony from women, but that's the minority. Why should a man take a financial risk just to benefit his partner? Why is a man asking what's in it for him so discouraged, especially when the woman clearly wants the benefits of marriage? These are rhetorical questions, of course.
/r/MGTOW16/02/19 06:57 AM

That makes more sense, actually. I remember reading or hearing about how men in East Asia are perfectly comfortable with expressing physical affection with their friends (holding hands, hugging, stuff like that) and how it was culture shock to the Westerner. This is an artifact of another culture.

The feminism movement was about obtaining the same "privileges" of men (e.g. voting) without the responsibilities that come with it (e.g. selective service). Their idea of oppression is not having freedom without personal responsibility. I would say women genuinely lacked important freedoms before feminism, such as the ability to leave an abusive husband through divorce, but these rights and freedoms have become perverted, such as divorce rape. This is why, for example, we have promiscuity being…

I appreciate their work. They are a more prominent Internet community that show people how men are mistreated in society. That said, I highly doubt their movement can get very far (to the point of the impact of feminism/women's rights). We'd sooner see a societal collapse from feminism than a significant change in men's rights imo

This makes me incredibly angry. I specialize in DNA bioinformatics and I would have loved to support Cambrian Genomics and this man's vision. It's a damn shame it didn't go anywhere. Instead, shitty journalism drives him to suicide. Our gynocentric society is anti-science and refuses to improve. Yes, unless directly talked to by a woman, I avoid talking to them. As it stands, I don't have a very active social life. I go to college. My classes have a high male-to-female ratio, and usually the few females in my classes stick together. I talk with them if they talk to me, but I come off as aloof and anti-social. The fact that people see alimony as reasonable and prenups being unreasonable is insane. Women can get their own jobs, who gives a fuck about being "economically comfortable"? If she doesn't even want to work, she can live off welfare. There is no need to rope a man into it. I guess women are only strong and independent when it suits them.
/r/MGTOW03/02/19 03:21 AM

A prenup is an legal agreement between two parties before marriage of how assets are going to be split in the case of divorce. It's supposed to help guaranteed a man doesn't get divorce-raped and forced to pay alimony. However, prenups are often thrown out to appeal to women who want alimony.

The difference is how they go about it: MGTOWs avoid women whereas redpillers try to fulfill their biological imperative. She's describing a problem women face and pretending men have the same problem. I'd rather die alone than with a wife who hates me lmao

Thank you articulating the problem with this commercial. I couldn't have said it better myself.

I wish I could upvote this more than once. Women have twisted toxic masculinity to mean any man who doesn't sacrifice themselves to women.

I say I'm "focused on my career" when family asks me. No need to elaborate that I'm never going to stop focusing on my career.

I tolerate my family. My mom worked multiple jobs after immigrating from the Philippines, so I have her to thank for not being in poverty in a shithole country. That doesn't make me want to associate with women. I don't necessarily hate women but I don't respect them as a whole, either.

There is no such thing as "toxic masculinity". What this commercial and feminists demonize is just masculinity. Boys wrestling each other is not toxic. Men finding women attractive is not toxic, and most catcalling is nothing more than words. The idea that men have to be responsible for the minority of men who are rapists is ludicrous. Women should feel responsible for the female rapists according to this logic. Women don't need white knights standing up for them and fighting their battles.

This is why as a college guy, I avoid parties and alcohol. Even if a woman says yes, she can rationalize it later that it was rape.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
