Believe me, hearing your mother say “men are pigs” to any female cashier, server or clerk who’ll listen really damages your ego as a child.

The only issue with that, is it would cause the accusers to “double down” because they know they’re fucked if they lose their case.

In some places, like Canada even dating or living together can have financial consequences; “common law marriage”

Knew a friend who’s ex begged him to get back together, when he said no she told everyone he SA’d her, she thankfully recanted AFTER his reputation was trashed, and his current gf believed him, but imagine if she didn’t recant how bad his life would be? We as a society need to stick with innocent until proven guilty because unfortunately people lie.

Gay man here, I’m not a fan of being segregated from straight men, and I’m not a fan of being called “queer” as that’s been used as a slur against me

Politics on both sides these days. I feel like its more of a war fought by withholding information and taking things out of context as opposed to politicians actually sharing their platform and selling themselves

From my experience, sexist comments get downvoted to oblivion, both sexist against men and women. I know I downvote them as I see them, just like I’m downvoting your sexist comments

Can you even define “hate” beyond someone respectfully disagreeing with you? Disagreeing or stating an opinion or using logical arguments is not hate, nor is it violence

I feel like both men and women have issues in society, but different issues, apples to oranges, but because feminists don’t understand the male experience they just assume we have none.

If you rephrase it as “a compatible woman” or “a woman who’s good for me” that might be better, I can see a feminazi calling “worthwhile” a dehumanizing term. I don’t agree, but the citizens of the internet are bound by black and white thinking

I just call myself egalitarian. I feel like we should have 100% equal rights by law, but recognize that men and women have different preferences and make different choices so some career paths just don’t appeal to women, and some careers don’t appeal to men, and thats okay. I feel like some jobs are done better by women and some jobs are done better by men, its nothing against either sex, and its nobody’s fault, its just nature and we just have to accept that no amount of force, or “positive dis…

My favorite part of being “lumped together” is when blatant homophobia happens and they sweep it under the umbrella. There were two gay men killed in a park in the UK, but all the news articles said “two LGBTQIA persons were murdered.” You really had to dig to find it, but it was two men

Not all gay people identify with the alphabet soup crowd. I know lots of Libertarian and Republican gays, and theres even an “LGB drop the T” movement because some of us believe that the T movement’s goals can be harmful to gay and bisexual people

Worth more than loyal employees. I quit this grocery store I worked at for almost 2 years because they’d always “talk to me” about customer feedback.

My mother is like this to a tee. Any minor disagreement or difference in opinion she responds “why are you being argumentative? Why are you being contrarian?” When I’m just calmly saying “thanks for the advice, but I don’t think that quite fits” or “thanks but I went with the other option because it was a better option for me.”

When I worked in a grocery store not a single woman worked in my department; frozen foods. Apparently there was one woman years before I started, but the entire store had a good balance of men and women, but they could not make a woman work in the freezer. Its almost as if the different sexes also have different preferences and thats okay. Or just say sexism and outrage “how dare the patriarchy not allow women in the freezer department!”

Get your lawyer lined up now just in case you need their services later. Also save and document everything, not because you’re planning something, but it’d be helpful to have some “dirt” in case she ever tries dragging you in court

The way I look at it is; men and women in general have different tastes and interests, ask anyone in marketing. Why do feminists automatically assume that its a bad thing? When I was a cable guy we had 400+ techs at my company, not a single woman. I work for a coffee shop now and theres about 30 women here and I’m 1 of 3 males who work here, I know I didn’t face any discrimination applying and interviewing, I believe this job just happens to attract more female applicants, just like my cable guy…

Its not an easy solution. Vasectomies are NOT easy to reverse, and the longer you’ve had one the less successful reversals are. Giving every male a vasectomy by default is literally eugenics

I recently discovered magic words. “I don’t want to be involved in this.” I still get involved in the “rivalries,” but I don’t know whos against who and its awesome. I get the cold shoulder from the women who really dislike the women I chat with most, and as a supervisor I’m insubbordinated constantly and nothing happens to the women who do so, but you don’t see them insubbornating the female supervisors

“Suffered consequences.” Are you sad that this group that tries to create body positivity for men took away your fake internet points because we doesn’t like when you call male anatomy ugly? You are in a male space, would you go into a female space and call vaginas ugly and play the victim when the same thing happens?

Whats funny is most male strippers that I’ve met are gay, it’s kinda ironic watching hordes of middle aged women at the gay bar drooling over some 20something gymrat who’s probably into bears or daddies anyways

If you wanna have it done when you’re 18, go for it, but fuck any barbaric religion that strips away their child’s human rights. Children are not their parents property, and even Jewish parents shouldn’t be allowed brand their kids like cattle

I like him, I read his books and watch his videos sometimes, but I don’t agree with 100% of what he says. His “just do it” attitude helped lift me out of a bad situation in my life, but I don’t like his “life is suffering, just get used to suffering because that’s all that life is.” I think that’s kinda a sad take, but I think the fact that he’s a male authority figure is what attracts so many young men to his videos, he gives good life advice and has morals

All of the “evidence” you’re referring to asked men who were circumcised as babies to rate their sex and compared it with intact men. How can you know what you’re missing if you’ve never had it?

I think a lot of people go into the field with the intent to exert control over others, narcissists/borderlines ect. Same with medicine, for every great doctor I’ve seen I have met arrogant ones who invalidate and put down everything you say and treat you like cattle. The plus side is we can choose to see a different doctor, but the process of trial and error can be really frustrating

If you read my history you’d realize I’m the opposite, but like most medical professionals I’ve met, just disregard everything I say and hear what you want to hear, along with everyone else’s comments. Also keep talking down to everyone, that’ll make you super popular
/r/MensRights08/02/22 02:46 PM

Apparently neither do you. Just because you were some medical professional in the 90’s or whatever doesn’t mean your “knowledge” is relevant or wanted

If you’re over 18 and decide to make that covenant yourself, then fine, go for it, you do you, but depriving a child of their bodily autonomy is fucked up. Freedom of religion does not give you the right to destroy a part of your son’s body. I’m not sure why western countries with high human rights indexes give allowances to religions that practice modern barbarism, but I think its wrong. If you disagree than go to the middle east or Africa and start your family there

I don’t let people tell me I’m a victim, but its definitely easier to use the victim card as an excuse to avoid responsibility. I’m gay and I’ve experienced homophobia maybe 2-3 times in my entire life. I’m not a victim, I don’t think homophobia is an issue in this country, its all about perspective. My female coworkers just assume anything and everything is sexism and or racism and or homophobia/biphobia when someone just looks at them funny. Its a pitiful existence

One of my core memories was tiny me sitting in the cart listening to my mom and the cashier saying how much they hate men, but as we walked to the car she said “not ALL men sweetie, just some.” A growing boy needs self esteem, when I have children, if I have a girl I would never make a sexist comment in front of her, I think that’s so fucking degrading to growing child to be ashamed of who they are

Gender flipped headline “Cruel patriarchal judge smites poor widowed woman with cancer.” The judge would be cancelled and their life destroyed, but because men are held to a lower value in our society, that isn’t happening here
/r/MensRights14/01/22 04:35 PM

Sadly they usually run uncontested. What we need is to go with a smaller party like the libertarians and take all the “lower” positions that nobody cares about to build support
/r/MensRights14/01/22 02:24 PM

You should try being gay and listening to what female friends have to say. They get even bitchier because you are their “safe space.” Needless to say after dropping the toxic friends I only have 1 girlfriend left. I have a friend who’s 21 and his hairline is really receding and he’s really self conscious about it, and I was just disgusted by their “opinions” on it.

I knew a guy who had a crazy ex who messaged literally everyone in his life to try and get back together even though he had moved on and found a new gf. When that didn’t work she talked to his current gf and said he raped her and told all his friends. Its like the female version of a “nice guy” but instead of calling him a fat ugly bitch she accused him of rape.

Thank god I’m gay and don’t have to worry about this happening to me. Just from my perspective it seems like its a lot harder to be a straight male in today’s world
