For men: -Get fit (Lift Bro -Regular haircuts -Dressing well (for me, collared shirts, plaid flannel ones for casual settings) if you go a little peacock it might turn a couple girls off, but it will give a bunch of others an excuse to say something to you and initiate conversation. -Make yourself accessible, no woman will be attracted to you if she doesn't know you exist. Parties and bars are the best for this. -At those places, smile, be happy, women are attracted to happy dudes. (They like ag…

Innovative and exciting my liege!

Depends on the standard of living you and your spouse want to provide your family and where you live. I make $54,000, a little above the median income in my country, but still easily achievable by most men. I just moved out to a town in the midwest where I was able to buy a 2 bedroom bungalow comfortably on that salary. If a woman wanted to be a stay at home mother to my kids and was okay with: not having a seperate car, not moving to a nicer neighbourhood, only going out to eat occasionally and…

I boot up my computer after Christmas and play like I'm addicted for a week, then put it away for a year. Lol. I've never found a balanced way to use them, they're designed to be addictive.

Uh, yes my liege. ( Rubs lamp furiously in secret )

You need to go look at a selection of single dude's apartments. It's not that they're waiting for their wife to clean the dishes, it's that the dirty dishes in the sink do not bother them. We can just grab a dirty plate and clean it when we need a clean plate. Does it increase the chances of roaches? Yes. Do we really mind? Not that much usually. Keeping a house clean is something that is done for the benefit of women, not men.

No, I'd prefer to do a majority of the work, like 60-40 and be genuinely appreciated and respected for it. Doing 50% would feel like I'm treading on very thin ice all the time and I have no cushion for if I'm having a bad week and forget to take out the garbage or whatever.

If that's the consistent standard being applied, totally fine.

Fair to split the bill when not interested? Absolutely, I think it's a good convention.

Ah; I would say those are not nearly as strong or as clear a way of communicating romantic interest, but yes, what I would advise as well. If you haven't already set precedent.

What better way is there of showing someone that you like them romantically? The only "sad" thing about it is that casual sex gets thrown around so freely that it has to become the baseline standard for expressing "I'm romantically interested in you".

How does one not feel settled for when your current gf had a Chad that won’t settle down? If she's as eager to be with you as she was with him; if she's not, not, she's trying to talk herself into settling for you. The Red Pill says that this is impossible and she'll always resent this. The Blue Pill says that this is a totally different, deeper emotional connection, so it won't be affected at all. My take is that it's probably possible, like marrying a single parent and having a successful marr…

I shall begin with Reddit my liege.

I mean, I rationalize that by there being thousands of different variables across which human being can be compared and by being modest enough to know that almost everyone exceeds me on at least one of those variables. I might be taller, fitter, more handsome, a better cook, and quicker draw, but perhaps someone else has a better singing voice, or quicker wit.

To an extent, I will certainly cede that, all of my previous girlfriends shared some deeply negative traits. However, it would be unfair not to note that in my case these were nearly always positive comparisons or at worst, fond reminiscences. But it only takes a small leap of logic to realize that if favourable comparisons are being made and mentioned, unfavourable ones are likely being made but not mentioned.

It's not about sex as the ultimate reward; it's about sex and physical intimacy as the core factor differentiating a romantic relationship from a platonic one. You read your girlfriend's poetry with proper thought and give her feedback on it, but that's something you might do for a platonic friend as well; it is an fundamentally different sort of thing. I think Ladywomanson is correct when she writes: You don’t have to bang on the first date, but you should want to. If not, let him find someone …

Because all the dates I've been on, splitting the bill was used as a tactful way of showing a lack of interest and that there will not be a second date. Deviating further from that would leave me deeply confused as to whether this is an act of pity; or the woman attempting to play the man's role in the date. Neither of which are comfortable feelings.

Before date one? Social circles would be the normal way. Either of the two you mentioned might fall into those social circles, or you could hire a PI as one commentator mentioned. More likely it's something that will come out in conversation at some point down the line if a relationship happens. At which point, the revelation that she didn't want to get into my pants the first three times we saw each other; but she certainly did with Eric and Jake will undermine my confidence in our relationship…

The only times I can think of that I haven't paid for my dates meal or drinks and have ended up sleeping with her have been when I was in my early 20's hooking up with cougars.

Here's an indicator of interest: pay for the date. Are you suggesting the woman pay for the date to show interest? Because that's just going to confuse me.

I think most guys here don't want emotional intimacy. In particular? No. Nice to have, not essential. They should be more upfront about just wanting a hookup, I can't speak for others, but I have no interest in hookups, I want a wife to have and raise children with.

Why don't men get this? The previous relationship is inconsequential. It's not though? It's a direct comparison to ours, as we often get reminded.

To women not fucking up front usually means that there is more than just sexual interest. That is usually indicated by communication or some small form of intimacy. Can you see, from the male perspective, how fucked up this seems? Like; holding a "No premarital sex" stance across the board is admirable and commendable. Holding a "No sex outside of exclusive long term relationships" stance is admirable and commendable, if not quite so much as above. Holding a "No sex till the third date" rule is …

I get the feeling less special thing, but it sounds like personal insecurity that you really can’t put off on your partner. If you’re with someone you’re both supposed to make each other feel like the people before don’t really matter because you’re excited to be with this new person that gets you, yanno? I think the point is that if the new person is genuinely more exciting, the different standard would not be applied to them. The fact that a different, less intimate, approach is being taken to…

You have to make them clear and easy to follow if you just write "Be nice" everyone will do that to their own standards, which may or may not work out. But everyone will try to be pleasant to one another after their own fashion.

Mission statement perhaps, but how have they aligned their profit motive with that? Does using the app obligate you to run two hours of advertiser content at your wedding if you end up getting married to someone you met on the app?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 01:59 AM

Honestly just having this done by an organization that doesn't have a perverse incentive to act against the best interests of their users by keeping them on the app would be a huge improvement. Rare time I'd personally advocate for something to be a public utility.

My liege, what tax rate shall we place on non primary residential property? What tax rates shall we implement on marijuana and psychdelic mushrooms? How much additional funding for the civil service? What areas are we to plant the trees in for these new forests? (Can they be apple trees? I love orchards.) (Generally think this is a decent policy, particularly like that first one.)

Yeah, I realized I was so timid that the only women I was going out with all fit into a certain "sexually assertive" personality type that is strongly linked to infidelity. Set some standards for myself; haven't been in a relationship in five years now, but haven't had any of those cheating problems. So, progress.
