Tips for nun mode?Develop a routine that works now and could ALSO work for you while dating. I have laundry day, I have self care day (shaving, nails, facial mask, etc), and I also have a bedtime routine that makes me feel very comforted. Use this time to listen to podcasts, read, and get into small projects. I suggest these things because you need to keep stimulated while on this break, and it’s important to really reflect on what you’re learning and use that as a means for self discovery. It’ll give you strong … | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/18 08:27 PM
How do I deal with asexuality while looking for a LTR?My views change on how I feel. I used to be so picky I’d have to force myself to date. I wanted someone but couldn’t find them. Eventually I did, and got into those feelings. I realize now that it is not in my nature to be openly attracted. I usually develop attraction when I develop a rapport with someone and there are few men I openly lust after. When I met my ex I saw that he was handsome but wasn’t into him— and later fell in love. I would just start giving people a shot and see if any feeli… | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/18 07:41 PM
Shit testing vs. being sweet and receptive?A lot of times you don’t even need to shit test. You see enough to catch a hint and just observe from there on out. Sometimes even a direct question with a flirty tone is received better than a shit test. I’m not sure exactly what you are doing, but there are some things you need to know and are entitled to know. Most of the men I date are in their late 20’s. Most aren’t adverse to answering personal questions as long as you don’t probe. I have to use my intuition a lot, but I am pretty good at … | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/18 07:34 PM
| – | Self CareMy bedtime routine. I take a lot of time to wind down and get tired before bed, and I keep the room lit nicely. That and just keeping my tasks in order. Disorganization makes me feel awful. I don’t have a lot of time for traditional pampering and usually make it more of a procedure than a break— but routine is enough. | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/18 07:27 PM |
New here.. having trouble with macho boyfriendHe is not RP. He is 100% knee jerk reactions. I believe people are compatible not because of interests or background, but temperament. This guy is argumentative, stubborn, and jumps to conclusions (so ALL money subjects are off limits??). The fighting dirty thing is also a big one for me. Fights happen, but they serve a purpose. You express, I express, we find a solution. He fights to elicit an emotional response. That is not right. That is not effective or respectful. He is not partner material… | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/18 07:19 PM
SMV when you are not thinI’m pretty sure a friend of mine has that exact disorder. I’ve known her for life and she has always struggled with weight. Her entire career centers around fitness, and she is just not ever going to be small. But she is also beautiful and has always done herself up like anyone else would. In short, if you know you cannot change your weight, just don’t worry about it. You are working out as much as can be expected of the average person, and this is just how your body is. There is a lot you can d… | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/18 07:09 PM
Comparing myself with my BF's exes (long post, need perspective)I think a lot of men compartmentalize their exes to make better understanding of the relationship. Maybe you are wifey. I would be feeling exactly as you are if I found all of this, but I am not convinced it it 100% terrible. Your man has obsessive tendencies. Sometimes obsession feeds on itself and makes us think we feel or want something we don’t. Add in sex, which is all these women are as Facebook photographs, and he is probably in an addictive cycle of looking them up. He’s not contacting t… | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/18 07:06 PM
How should one deal with feelings of inadequacy in relationship?A lot of this is a matter of riding out your feelings. I majorly feel that way right now, but I know that if he keeps asking to see me, he must like me. I also know that if I want a fighting chance at something more, I need to show him I am confident. Sometimes that pretending. I hate meeting people’s friends, I hate spontaneous meet ups, I hate not feeling good in my skin. But I always decide to go with it and just act through it, and usually it works out for me and things progress. Don’t let y… | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/18 06:53 PM
Hard time trusting other womenUnfortunately, the woman I mentioned in my example is a coworker. I actually posted this question because that woman had been approaching me for friendship again in the last few weeks, and I felt really odd about it. These feelings pop up the most when she is around, and I just want to move past it, even if we don't become close again. | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/01/17 08:45 AM
Hard time trusting other womenThat is solid advice, thank you. A large part of me realizes this, and I'm trying to get over the rest. It no longer feels "exciting" to me, which I guess is a good thing. | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/01/17 08:44 AM
Hard time trusting other womenThat is an interesting perspective. I can relate to that (in the US) and I work in an industry that tends to keep people in an early-20's frame of mind (be messy, be selfish, be loud); and although I am in my twenties, I find it hard to open up and be natural. I was most popular when I was allowing other women to come between me and my SO, and was acting very immaturely. I guess in some ways, staying away is a form of self protection. | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/12/16 07:37 PM
Hard time trusting other womenThe first time I really got burned by a woman, we were "best friends", and she used our closeness to monitor me, meddle in my relationship, and give bad advice. I took it, and forgave her each time because I young and didn't see what she was angling for. I'd never put up with that again, but realize that even now, I don't feel like I have full control over my image. I want to get to the point where I no longer adjust my behavior based on the behavior of the women around me. | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/12/16 07:36 PM
Hard time trusting other womenThank you for your thoughtful reply. I gave a little thought to the things my coworkers and I were talking about last night, and there definitely is something to what the stories mean to a person, as opposed to what they say about them. In that light, I'm probably not presenting myself well through my own stories, particularly when I'm engaging with women my own age (I think I've been trying to match the women I feel rivalry with?). There are one or two women that I feel I can just be normal aro… | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/12/16 07:26 PM
