I’m sorry that happened to you :(

She deserves more than 16 months

Agreed
/r/MensRights11/03/20 02:29 AM

I agree
/r/MensRights11/03/20 02:29 AM
1

Yeah that doesn’t belong in the school
/r/MensRights11/03/20 02:14 AM
1

You told her not to? Yeah, but on this forum you’d all be pissed if your wives or girlfriends told you who to vote for
/r/MensRights11/03/20 02:13 AM
1

Nope, I don’t notice that at all actually
/r/MensRights11/03/20 02:12 AM

Sounds like she and her staff have no business working in medicine then
/r/MensRights11/03/20 01:27 AM

No we wouldn’t. A vaccine is currently being researched right now. It may be ready for clinical trials as soon as April. But you cannot skip the clinical trials. They can only shorten the timeframe so much
/r/MensRights11/03/20 01:25 AM

Lmao. I am working two jobs. Yeah I am sure oppressing my husband...
/r/MensRights11/03/20 01:22 AM

Not even the pregnancy really. It’s more the loss of breast fat and collagen elasticity in the skin and the increased fibrous tissue just from getting older
/r/MensRights05/02/20 05:23 AM

Yeah..... that “I learned in nursing school that breastmilk isn’t superior to formula” poster .....ORLY though? Because I learned that It IS superior- in medical school
/r/MensRights05/02/20 05:20 AM

No I am not an idiot. There is no need to be rude. Your words were that America had the HIGHEST HIV rates. If you meant highest of first world countries then that’s how you need to write it
/r/MensRights12/01/20 12:58 PM
4

The United States does not have the highest HIV rates . Not even close. That would be Sputh Africa. I support the anti circumcision activism but it’s important to bring the right facts to the table
/r/MensRights12/01/20 02:14 AM

Ffs I am not “riding on their backs” I just found your comment dismissive of a large percentage of the global population . For the record I have zero desire to have a world without men.
/r/MensRights08/01/20 02:42 PM
1

Oh really now? Tell that to the women in Africa who have to walk miles to collect clean water for their children
/r/MensRights08/01/20 11:50 AM
1

Cool. And last month when my husband was out of state during a snowstorm and my snowblower was broken I hand shoveled myself out of my driveway so I could go to work. Some humans are more capable than others. Be they male or female
/r/MensRights08/01/20 11:46 AM
1

Oh please. Losing those doctors would be a major problem but hospital administration? Yeah I’d happily do without.
/r/MensRights08/01/20 11:42 AM

Curious about how you view a marriage that shifts over time. Husband makes more money initially , then over time the wife makes more. Or vice versa. Do you think they are taking turns prostituting each other?
/r/MensRights08/01/20 11:28 AM
2

But if she is also working a full time job, as in his discussion, she would not be receiving “free rent”
/r/MensRights08/01/20 12:20 AM
1

So the answer really is “I don’t know”
/r/MensRights08/01/20 12:14 AM
2

You know, some married women actually DO enjoy sex...
/r/MensRights07/01/20 03:12 PM
3

Yeah, I don't blame you guys for being annoyed by this. We as females CANNOT have it both ways claiming equality and then saying we deserve/need fewer hours. That's ridiculous
/r/MensRights07/01/20 03:11 PM
1

Yup, medicine is a useless path in college....... nursing also useless. Teaching. Why do we need those?
/r/MensRights07/01/20 02:40 PM
2

I'm sorry. That really sucks that she did that. My husband has been the at-home parent for our kids, and they both have a wonderful relationship with him. I am grateful that his ability and willingness to take care of things there have been a big support for my medical career. I respect him a lot for stepping outside of his comfort zone. He's not so great with housework......but there's things I'm not wonderful at either. So we have a messier than desirable (but not "dirty") house but it's a hap…

That’s vile. I am very sorry that happened to you

What a horrible situation . I am sorry she did that to you!
/r/MensRights01/12/19 12:26 AM

Incorrect . Yesterday was international men’s day. Father’s Day is in June....
/r/MensRights20/11/19 08:49 PM

I agree that current hardcore feminists are pushing for dominance rather that equality. I DON’T agree that most women don’t like equality .

Stockholm syndrome? Wow, now that's a reach! If someone is coming to a playground to kidnap a child, they aren't going to ALREADY have developed Stockholm Syndrome. And if the child has already been kidnapped, they probably aren't taking the kid out in public TOO often (I realize it does happen though). And sure it's nice when whole families can be out and about together. But there are many situations where both parents can't be out with a child and that's not unreasonable! One parent is at work…
/r/MensRights31/10/19 03:51 PM

I sorry. My sister has she of what I strongly suspect is BPD though she was never officially labeled as such. Emotional manipulation, it’s awful. And I imagine it’s much worse having a child with someone like that.

Well if you have actual influenza you probably don’t continue life as usual. For that matter most women with actual influenza will be on their ass in bed too. So there is no shame in that. For the majority if you have influenza you are down for the count . In general though as a medical professional I think the term flu is way overused for a number of other more minor bugs. OP: I can see why you would find it annoying and sexist. I’m glad you took the day off, you deserve to feel better, and it’…

She didn’t know him from Adam but it sounded pretty obvious that his daughter knew exactly who he was
/r/MensRights30/10/19 03:50 AM

If it was another man reaching for his child, she would not be reaching back for the strange man to comfort her as he clearly stated she was doing
/r/MensRights30/10/19 03:47 AM

Good grief why the downvotes on this comment? That’s pretty upsetting
/r/MensRights30/10/19 03:38 AM

As someone who is too worried about social niceties I actually have to say good for you. Kid comes first, screw politeness
/r/MensRights30/10/19 03:33 AM
2

Hell yes, dads are real parents. My husband has been a kick ass dad and was their primary daytime caregiver when our kids were babies , I am sorry you were treated as a second class parent There was a minor incident at school last year where my daughter was almost but not quite hurt. I was knee deep in treating patients to. I call the teacher back and I’m like “seriously , there is a reason her dad is listed first on the contact list “
/r/MensRights30/10/19 03:27 AM

Women slightly outnumber men in medical school now, so don’t think they are all going just for bullshit degrees. Otherwise yes I agree the wording against men about being impatient for money is ridiculous

Apologies, I see it now between the website links

Females biologically have menstrual cycles which require the purchase of hygiene products monthly. Curious if that was factored in to the math.

Lol what school did you go to? This isn't he case with any other school I've encountered
/r/MensRights07/09/19 10:22 PM

Nice job ignoring my point *thumbs up*
/r/MensRights27/08/19 07:44 PM

And aren't most killers male as well? perhaps more, but I don't think it's "Most". And it's not the purpose of this particular discussion thread either.
/r/MensRights27/08/19 03:52 PM

whereas women simply won't date let alone marry such men under any circumstances. Men are hardwired to aggressively chase higher wages in exactly the same way that women aren't. My husband works from home and makes substantially less than I. I'm the breadwinner. He brings many other contributions into the partnership, I didn't look to him for money
/r/MensRights27/08/19 03:48 PM

yeah, I can see how there would be variability from one nation to the next
/r/MensRights27/08/19 02:41 PM

You count yourself as a feminist? Lol
/r/MensRights27/08/19 01:20 PM

It's only been in the last few years that women outnumbered men in medical school. I'm trying to understand why you think it's difficult for men to integrate into medicine.
/r/MensRights27/08/19 01:17 PM

Wow, that sounds very supportive to your fellow man. So not all male's feelings are worthy of being heard and helped? just the ones you personally disagree with. Sounds like shooting your own movement in the foot

I do have literature and resources. The issue with that is there is a long conversation here about how the existing resources are not adequate for men, right? So being an expert on current suicide prevention would still be inadequate if it's more geared towards women?? Am I missing something, or is that about right? Much appreciation to OnnaJin for your reply, though. Thank you.
/r/MensRights27/08/19 12:54 PM

I've had two male patients recently who survived hanging attempts. You guys talk about how men don't get the support they need for their hardships. So this is the support you would give them??? Accuse them of attention seeking or being incompetent? Really. That's sick.
/r/MensRights27/08/19 01:43 AM

Is the only way you have to support men to put down women? How about sharing your ideas of what WOULD be helpful?
/r/MensRights27/08/19 01:33 AM

As a female medical practitioner (physician assistant) do you have any recommendations for me in trying to try to help prevent male suicides?
/r/MensRights27/08/19 01:31 AM

I'm sorry that you didn't have the support that you deserved

And he could have chosen to sexually assault me when we were dating. He has three years, eighty pounds on me. Martial Arts training . You could say i'd feel unsafe if he had the urge to have sex with me regardless of whether or not I wanted it. But I felt safe . I trusted him not to rape me. I did not feel unsafe . He trusts me to not financially and legally rape him, if you'll pardon the turn of phrase.

Well yeah considering it was about ME changing MY mind about the marriage leaving my husband homeless, penniless and or in jail because I had a "bad hair day " well it kind of us about me

It's a great skit. I like Monty Python, to a degree
/r/MensRights21/08/19 11:04 PM

I've listened to EVERYTHING you have said and if you look, the only things I disagreed with completely were that you felt you make presumptions about my life personally and that women doctors "only" married up. If you didn't say it today you certainly said that when you posted on this discussion previously and that was what my initial response was directed to Yup. 50% which leaves 50% who won't divorce. We aren't talking 90-95% are we?
/r/MensRights21/08/19 11:02 PM

And every husband is not a divorced husband. Every husband is not a future divorced husband

Which reality?
/r/MensRights21/08/19 10:41 PM

Once again, why even debate with me when you have so little respect for women? Why am I even worth your time? Clearly none of my salient points even register with you. Are you one of those who just enjoys arguing on the internet?
/r/MensRights21/08/19 10:40 PM
1

Go ahead and find one argument I made that stated female doctors DON'T marry male doctors. I never said otherwise
/r/MensRights21/08/19 10:37 PM
1

Nope, I've been with him for 21 years and was raised to believe in the sanctity of marriage. It's hilarious that you think he's some kind of victim in this
/r/MensRights21/08/19 10:32 PM
1

Look it's obvious you've been burned pretty badly by a woman and you clearly won't respect my discussion as a result. Sorry it's been a rough road for you. Landing my husband in jail because I've had a bad hair day? Saying That's no better than the feminists who say men are animals who can't control their sexual urges. A bad hair day...dude I get those at least three days a week. Go bump fists with your bros if you aren't interested in a balanced discussion
/r/MensRights21/08/19 10:28 PM
1

And you said that female doctors DON'T marry "down" (which is kind of a derogatory way of putting it by the way) that they only ever married up for more status and power. I gave you several examples where that is not the case. I am capable of acknowledging your points , are you really incapable of understanding another point of view?
/r/MensRights21/08/19 10:12 PM
1

Well considering my whims are to continue a long and successful marriage, no he is not in any danger of losing anything.

I would be very interested in reading about the case if you have a link No doubt that a stay at home father may face some risks. I've been anti pre nuptial agreements in the past but given the divorce rate And the financial struggles that arose, I am coming to a different way of thinking, nothing wrong with protecting yourself On the flip side, there are other potential benefits. My husband bought a house before we were married that he lost in the recession. His credit was toast due to a foreclo…

" That's it, her famiu, but not his" He is PART of her family. That's the point. They are all in the same family. If she is providing for her family she is providing for him too

Well, my lived experience trumps your understanding. Family Practice PA here, my husband was home with our children when we were young. He's volunteered as much son's cub Scout leader, and later robotics club leader. He does work as a kickboxing instructor, computer tech guy, and volunteers for the Civil Air Patrol now that the kids are older. Day to day, he's the one waiting to get the kids off the bus in the afternoon and I'm the one who is the primary earner In my peer group, the other female…

Actually, it's not unusual for women in medicine (doctors, physician assistants) to have husbands who stay home and are the primary caregivers to their children.
