I can understand it would be shitty having pressure from people to meet someone and trying to make you feel like less of a man for not desiring that. I understand those feelings. Just be happy in your choices, don't bother trying to convince people. Eventually they will see the light if they realise you really are happy doing what you want to do. Always got friend zoned etc. We are pretty similar in personality really but he just has the nice guy image and I had more of the bad boy image. I always did better than him at night clubs etc, But he always did better than me through work relationships and friends of friends type scenarios. While I understand the sentiment and under different circumstances (not that different) I could see myself feeling the same way. I actually defend the right of people to say "fuck off" if someone asks "when are you going to settle down with someone, you would be happier" or "you need to find a nice girl" etc. I think you can live a very happy and satisfying life on your own and only you know if that's what makes you happy.
