Logged in just to comment. Your comment really resonated with me. Was in a slump lately, and this just lifted me right the fuck out of it.

Happy Birthday Rollo. You have done for men what our archetypal fathers should have done for us, but failed. May you live another 50.

Notice the body language in all of the pictures. Leo leading, she's looking at him border-line star-eyed. You can tell a lot just from a few unplanned pictures

I have no doubt that in order to recover from the "Nice guy" syndrome it is necessary to swing to the other extreme only to understand what the other extreme is. And yes, you will in fact be more successful in getting bitches and fucking and all that. But that too will be scarcity level thinking, just on the "masculine" polar energy. To evolve beyond that you must adopt the higher state of being as a man. Become a patriarch. Of your own life, of your own thoughts, of your actions, but never in r…

You're not seeing what he's actually saying. You confuse the outer appearance of what a "real man" would do, versus the mentality of a real man. It is an attempt to to do the actions of a "real man" in order to get to the mindset, rather than acting on your own accord whilst appearing to the outside as a man who is "real". It's a subtle difference, and to the observer it would seem the same if unenlightened, but to the person doing the action it is different. It is the same as people who are cra…

For what it's worth, I agree with you. I'd say most people on TRP are stuck on the ego centric perspective of "selfish gain" of masculinity, which is the shadow of masculinity, versus the manifesting/creative driving force that is the mind, which is true masculinity. It's a matter of men being the creative force, and women being the reactive. Nothing to do with aggression. Aggression is actually a reactive force, and therefore the "negative" type of masculinity.
