Im in dallas and in water utilities. I read meters so im in the elements and dodging traffic as well, but i wouldnt want to do sanitation unless i had to. Almost all the people in the back of the trucks are temps around here. Only the guys driving are city employees. So those remps get hosed with no benefits and the staffing agency taking some of their pay.
