For a time, legally, yes. However our mother's mother's mother's and aunts have been fighting for us so we WOULDN'T have to depend on them. They are looking down on us from the stars so proud of what their daughters are doing today.

Not gonna lie, it was this sub and WitchesVsPatriarchy that led me to my Goddess path. I'm a Witch and damn proud of it now.

Have said this multiple times on this sub oh, when I started dating my guy he said to me "I need to great you better than any of your past boyfriends have treated you." To which I replied, "No, you need to treat me better than I treat myself. I know what I want, I know what makes me happy. I treat myself so amazingly well. If you don't treat me as good as I treat myself, there is no reason for me to be with you. Likewise, I will treat better, because you are worth it." We just celebrated one yea…

His family is Mormon right? I can tell by the verbiage you're using. I grew up super Mormon and it took me years to pull myself out of the church, let alone the mindset that is instilled in you. My parents had a very very very hard time with my sister's boyfriend when they were living together. They gave them crap all the time, telling them that they were living in sin. It wasn't until they were married that they felt comfortable to actually see his value. They could see him taking care of her, …

Yes!!!!! My current beau waited until I was ready. When he asked me what I was looking for, I didn't say marriage exactly, because I wasn't looking for marriage. (Frankly I didn't think I was ever going to get married because I was so disillusioned with it all) I told him specifically that I was looking for someone who was the right fit for me. That was it. It took all of the "Marriage" pressure off, but it also clued him into knowing that I had my own personal boundaries. We talked about when w…

I straight up told my guy when we met that I don't cook. I can, I just don't like to. I've got about 5 things that I'm really good at. I'm a FANTASTIC baker, but he doesn't care for baked goods, so he doesn't expect food. He tells me he enjoys my company so much, he loves to cook and see me happy.

My guy's kid has a stuffed Llama that she doesn't like anymore and leaves when she goes to her moms. I was sick one night and he brought me the Llama and it kept me company. We now call it the Trauma Llama and it comforts anyone if they're sick, drunk or tired. We make sure to bring it on all our trips as well as it makes a fantastic travel pillow. the Trauma Llama now goes everywhere with us.

I actually said this to my guy when we first started dating! He said he had to treat me better than all the other guys and I told him his competition was me. I treat myself the way I want to be treated. So if he can't match up then he's gone. Guess who gets treated like a Queen? He even calls me Her Majesty in all sincerity.

Oh God Almighty! This happened to me! I wasnt that young, but I was 26 and he was 42 but I didn't know. He lied and told be he was 31. I was still hesitant at that age gap but he chased me aggressively! I didn't find out his real age until we were one year into our relationship and I was fully trapped. It took me SEVEN years to get out of it and another 4 to get him out of my system. It is NOT OK.

Amy Schumer did a bit where she found out her friend was pregnant and she goes "oh my God what are you going to do?" and then realizes they're all in their 30s and actually want to keep it. That's me. I just turned 40. I'm too young to have kids.

Oh God, I remember when I was this girl. I didn't want to be too much so I kept myself limited and contained. When I started truly enjoying myself, was when men's desire for me kicked up exponentially. One of woman's true Powers is to be sensuous, enjoying and taking great delight in all of her senses. Real men absolutely love seeing a woman enjoying herself.

This is the basis for Femdom and Female Led Relationships (FLR). Being an object and completely subservient to women. The switch is flipped and the woman is in complete control. I dabbled in it briefly and learned soooooo much. Honestly that and FDS helped me change my mindset towards men, I used to be a massive Pickmeshia. I now have a HVM partner and we have a very loving and committed relationship thanks the the change in my mindset and how I let men treat me.

OK love, new subreddit for you. /r/NevilleGoddard The power and law of attraction. You don't wish. Wishing acknowledges that you have lack. I let go of all the men in my life and decided to live in the resonance of the love that I wanted. Meaning I loved myself the way I always wanted someone to love me. He manifested into my life and it is so beautiful. It is exactly the love I always wanted but couldn't fathom how it could exist. It is real. The power you have in your hands is real. If you eve…

Okay here's the real deal. I've been dating a guy who is a HVM. His favorite thing to do is see me happy. When he does something that makes me ecstatic it just lifts him up. We haven't moved in together yet, I made him wait 2 months for sex. I applied all the rules. I have been spoiled and pampered beyond belief. He often says "Do you know what my favorite thing to do is? Make you happy" Because he's putting forth effort to make me happy, my happiness is buoying him up. I am being treated like a…

I just turned 40 on Sunday. I have an amazing career, I have so many wonderful friends. I have hobbies, I have a great stylish house, and I started dating the most amazing man 4 months ago. Because I have been particular about the men that I have dated, it has allowed me freedom in my life to do the things that I have wanted to do. I can't even begin to tell you all how ridiculously happy I am. Women who focus on themselves and their happiness end up all the better for it. Not only that, the men…

I absolutely fell in love with myself over the shutdown last year. Spending so much time with me was wonderful and I had so much fun. I randomly met a guy in October and we've been inseparable ever since. He mentioned how he needs to treat me better than any other guy because he knows how much competition there is out there. I told him the only person he's competing with is me. I was happy by myself before him. I'll be happy by myself after him. He's competing with me. When that sunk in, he uppe…

I broke up a dude specifically because of his diet. He ate candy and ice cream and fast food all day long. He was pretty lean and decent looking, but I couldn't sustain that type of Lifestyle. He was so surprised when I told him it was over. How could I expect to keep my health and my sanity in check when he didn't care about his own?

I used to subscribe to that mentality. I would altar myself to be what I thought men wanted and I got REALLY good at it. What I learned is that every man is attracted to something different, but most men don't care what a woman does or does not do. The main thing a man wants is a woman who loves herself and is strong with who she is.

On the flip side, having dabbled in Femdom, most of the men I've worked with who like to be dominated are very successful and in charge of everything in their lives. Giving in to the woman's desires gives them a moment of reprieve to not have to be everything to everyone.

Same girl. My ex was very sick and unable to work so I was the primary breadwinner for four years. My friends husky had puppies and he wanted to take one home and I put my foot down on that. I was never home, he was sick in bed, and we lived in a third-floor apartment. There was no way that a dog would get enough attention or even be able to be potty trained the proper way. He claimed I emasculated him because I said no right away and made all the decisions. He was too sick to even work. Of cour…

I have to disagree with them being psychotic. You have to look at men and how they've been taught that they should be the breadwinner and the one in charge, Just like we've been taught to be quiet, demure and subservient. Sadly, it's the majority of men who are like this because of the culture that bred them. A true HVM is open and aware to what a true partnership is, regardless of what has been taught to him.

Last relationship my dude got super sick. He had to stop working as a physical therapist, and so with me being incredibly in love I took over everything. Cooking, cleaning, shopping, being the only income. I had myself convinced that he was going to get better and get back to work and we would move forward in our happy lives together. I spent SOOOOOOO much money on him. Took him to doctors and specialists trying to figure out what was wrong. This lasted for 4 effing years!! I wasn't in a relatio…

Same! I once picked up a girl who unmatched with her drivers 10 times before she got matched with me. She didn't care that it lowered her rating. She'd rather have a low rating than drive with men. On the flip side, I can't tell you how many times I got propositioned from my male passengers. I wanted to get a camera just to document how much it happened. That's the main reason I stopped driving.

I once broke up with a guy based on his diet alone. He ate candy ALL THE TIME. It was a nonstop sugar rush for him. It was fast food for all the major meals and then snacking on candy. We couldn't eat together because I didn't want to eat at McDonald's and Taco Bell every day. After a month I called it quits and I was very honest about my reasons why. He was totally shocked and couldn't understand why I would break up with him over something so "petty." I ALWAYS pay attention to diet of the pers…

I'm with ya girl! I'm in a place right now where I don't want to deal with the drama of a relationship and I've been lucky enough to find the most amazing FWB. We get together only when I want, and it is ALL about me. He is a giver, and I mean GIVER. I swear, the best sex I've ever had. I could tell from the get-go he wasn't the kind of guy who wanted to be married, so I gave it a shot and let him know that we could be fwbs but only on my terms. We've known each other for over a year now and has…

Check them out, sure, but never follow them. They will just see you as another one of their followers and not a potential partner. It makes you too accessible and then easier to dismiss and forget.

You are young sweetheart. The only thing you can do is work on yourself and build your life the way you want it. The men in your dating range are not men yet. As you get older and continue to focus on the things that you love, men will come your way. I promise!
