2	I keep having this discussion so I just thought I would come out and ask. Because of the sexism and bias in my job I complained so much that they actually changed the rules in my favor . Often hotels won't hire male maids because " they might rape someone " but live us women up on the floor all by ourselves never to come check and see if a guest killed us or not . I fought with my boss on this issue and finally after five years they started hireing male maids . I'm not sure if they still do or not after I left due to health reasons .
