Yes, you’ll find confident guys who look like shit do well for themselves and enjoy themselves and their lives. I think TRP does a much better job of accomplishing that confidence by saying things like “Lift a ton, go out and talk to people, don’t be afraid of rejection” as opposed to “be yourself, enjoy your own skin”. Lifting weights releases serotonin into your system, you feel better mentally and physically. You look great physically. On a primal level, humanity strives on struggle and disci…

You’re about spot on. TRP teaches great lessons in self improvement and awareness, but does so in a radical “wake up call” type of way, which some guys need. Being told you’ll be given nothing in life and totally unloved unless you make yourself valuable is a rough way of saying you should get your shit together. Some guys take it in stride and use the harshness as motivation, while others take it with anger and grief and stay that way. Those guys are the ones who make TRP toxic. If I understand…

Laugh about it, change your perspective on this. You’re the one getting what these guys want. Show that this doesn’t bother you in the least. My girlfriend would get gifts from older men who came in trying to be her sugar daddy,(she worked in a very affluent area) and we’d laugh our asses off eating the premium box of chocolates and shit she would get when she’d come over after work. Granted, she didn’t post a list of things she wants, but still enjoy your status in this situation

I wouldn’t recommend ever using the terminology in real life. Most I’ve done is tell a buddy of mine who got friend zoned by his own girlfriend that he was being a total beta male, and spending too much time worrying about not upsetting her rather than just being himself and having fun with her. No need to go into theory and terminology, it just muddles the point and sounds ridiculous

All the advice is here in the comments. All you can do is make incremental steps and develop patience. Sometimes you’ll be stuck in a mental rut for months. I have a problem where I’m up till 2 am every night and wake up at 10:30 and lay around until 12 and I’ve been doing that this entire semester since my classes are in the afternoons. It’s killing me trying to break it because it’s such a habit. I feel your frustration. You have the right motivation, you want to change your life desperately. …

You’re an inspiration. My gym buddy says we’re not going to get much stronger than we are since we haven’t been lifting since we were 13. We’re both 22 maxing at 160. Consistency is key

I made the mistake of trying to become this Uber stoic rock when I first started reading TRP, and it was a mess with my girlfriend in the long run. I thought it would make me seem harder to attain but I became this boring potato that would speak about nothing ever and only wanted to fuck. I cut that shit out and went back to the way I was when we first met. Witty, teasing, talkative, and energetic and it’s been awesome since then. Being passionate and vulnerable to a degree is very attractive co…

Don’t be self depreciating, or the court jester. I see this all the time with guys. Sure, you can make people laugh their asses off by being an idiot, like impersonating or acting like people from The Office. These can work in moderation, but being witty with some dry humor is better. Quick one liners and jabs at friends show confidence and quickness of your mind.

It’s cliche, but get lots of sleep, eat healthy, hit the gym, meditate, whatever gets your hormones balanced and your mind right. Your priorities will become much clearer and the process will not be as complicated.

There’s no way anyone here can make the decision on whether she’s unique or not. That’s up to you. Even if you described a unicorn you’d be told she was lying. All you can really do is set your boundaries and standards for who you want to date and if she meets them, then do it. It’s strange to see guys ask for the approval of this sub on girls. They can offer advice and point out inconsistencies in what you say, but this isn’t some cult. A huge part of being a man is making your own decisions, a…

Talking to everyone at the gym, kickboxing, meditation, and general mindfulness of how you interact with others and how it affects the outcomes of those interactions are all great. Talking to random people builds confidence because you’ll notice you’re almost always the only person around talking and enjoying themselves. Ask someone to spot you, introduce yourself and build rapport. I made friends with a gym regular I’ve seen around today doing just that. Kickboxing is great, you realize that th…

Man, you’ll notice a lot of people university age just don’t know how to talk to people. Most people get on their phones as soon as they have 2 minutes free. It’s a huge problem companies are recently noticing as they hire people currently getting out of college; they don’t have the social skills needed sometimes. I have some family friends who own their own businesses, and they’ve all said it’s been a mess trying to find socially competent college grads. Don’t take it personally, you just have …

Yeah, it just perpetuates itself. You should really practice meditating, it keeps you in the current moment and out of the potential future and past stuff. The fog really lifts. It’s something that actually takes practice as the first time your mind will want to stay in its loop you’ve conditioned it into. Somewhat related, and I don’t recommend doing this at all, but I had an acid trip a couple years ago where I looked back on every event of my life, and realized my life would’ve been exactly t…

/r/TheRedPill01/08/18 03:56 PM

Exactly. This post created some brief resentment with my parents but then I remember when I was a kid my father telling me I was circumcised and that the doctors really pushed it when I was born. My parents didn’t know better.

All women have the same nature, but there are a boatload of factors that cause them to act on it on different levels. Good family situation vs daddy issues for example. Just because you’re higher smv than her boyfriend doesn’t automatically mean she’s going to bang you behind his back. If that were the case the 80/20 rule would be worse than 99/1.

He meant mainstream news like Fox ABC and CNN. It only reports gossip, tragedy, and politics. Mainstream news is full of shit, and here’s why: no matter what the hell is happening politically, they’re going to push their agenda because that is their platform. Sean Hannity is going to speak the praises of the Republican Party and berate the left no matter what. Likewise for any commentator on the left. This is the best answer. Gaining respect from your peers takes time in some form or another. Either you’ve built up such an impressive social resume over time that you’re respected off the bat by new people at another’s recommendation, or you built rapport with said new people. By initiating, you’re building that respect as a host of types. Bringing people together makes you a social leader Edit: I’ll add that I’ve had to gain friendships and respect this way, and it certainly works very well. Y…

Here’s some advice from my own life experience. You look and sound exactly like I did when I was 16. Stick to the gym man, seriously. I fell on and off for awhile and looked the same muscle wise except with a little bit of flab. It’s a bad look. You’ll naturally fill in a little over the next few years, and if you keep lifting you’ll get to man size without the flab. As far as other advice, you’re doing great finding this at a young age. Thanks for being a good father to the best of your ability. This sub talks about the decline and not having children, but only through fatherhood will the decline end and this type of knowledge be passed on, otherwise it’s all left to the kids to find this stuff on their own.
/r/TheRedPill19/06/18 09:15 PM

Fatherhood is your answer. Education and tradition come best from fathers especially when it comes to boys. Your father teaches you how to live properly, or you so strongly desire to live properly that you struggle to find the path without the guidance of your father or some type of father figure. With this current era of cheap and instant gratification, I guarantee that if you were able to quantify the amount of boys with the drive to achieve a truly fulfilling life on their own you would be ap…

Don’t use porn as a reference for how you should be performing. They just pound away for the destructive effect. Women love getting pounded, but if she’s saying you’re no good and don’t have rhythm, work first on slowly figuring out what she really likes. Grinding your pelvic bone on her clit in missionary works really well for example. Find the angles they like; you’ll be able to tell. Then start thrusting to a beat in your head and stick to it. Start off slow and making sure the angle you’re a…

The things said in this post are why I never understand why men complain about how easy it is to be a woman. Yes they can walk through life more easily than a man can, but isn’t the “long term victory” so much sweeter than the “short term pleasure”? Yes women are born and men are made, and that is exactly why I would rather be a man. The fact you have to earn your stake in life is harder, but so much more worth it having the knowledge that you earned it, rather than having it handed to you. The …

Talk slow, and minimize the amount of air going through your nostrils when you talk. Practice by pinching your nose and talking until there’s only the very occasional nasal sound with your nose pinched. Pretty sure there was a post here about that.

Sure, these women may be with out of shape guys. But they have a lot of status that your average joe will not have. You’d never see those types of chicks on the street with an identical guy without status.

I’ll piggyback off what other have said. You may be the autist in the group you’re in. It can be tiny stuff that gets you excluded. Maybe you’re the clown in a group of stoic guys and it looks bad in social gatherings. Maybe you always follow up stories with your own similar stories that aren’t interesting at all. Maybe you give a laughing play by play analysis of how a conversation just went. (Don’t do that last one especially; everyone was already there and know what happened). If it’s the cas…

I’ve thought exactly the same thing. I only smoke for special occasions with a small group of my best friends because we have a hell of a time. Otherwise, drop it. You’ll enjoy it much more when you haven’t been smoking regularly, your mind is generally clearer, and it gets out of your system quickly when you do it rarely, so you don’t have to spend money on detox and freaking out about losing out on job prospects.

Exactly. This sub can become an echo chamber for a lot of chumps here, and it’s unhealthy. Not because the ideals are wrong, but because it isn’t healthy to be constantly hearing stories of divorce rape and guys scoring with girls in “committed” relationships when you don’t have the context of your own experience. Sure, I have friends who have been cheated on, have fucked married women and girls with boyfriends. I also see girls I know who have boyfriends turn men down because they’re already co…

I agree with you, binary thinkers will take that line to the wrong ends, thinking that all women are filthy cheaters. I’ve seen posts on the exTRP sub explaining TRP made them horribly anxious about their relationships and they couldn’t handle it. This sub also teaches to look for women with good family relationships and upbringings as a way to mitigate your risk of being cheated on, so AWALT is certainly more of an explanation for varying degrees of human nature, not a box to slam all women int…

It’s something that can take time to get over, especially in this social media era with people showing off their looks on instagram and tweets praising and complaining about the looks of others. It’s something that you need to reconcile with yourself as something you cannot change. You can’t change it, so it literally doesn’t matter. It just matters to YOU. First thing I would say is be confident and happy to tell the story. Don’t think if it as a challenge you need to pass to win over the people listening. Be in the mindset that you’re a cool and interesting guy, and what happened is hilarious and crazy. This sounds nuts, but it works for me. I imagine myself as an old man with a million crazy stories. You need to establish a reputation within a circle of people, and that likely takes a little time to develop. Unless you’re very tall, extremely good looking, and stupid charismatic, you’re not going to become that person upon immediately meeting people. Take others’ advice on listening to people and getting to know them during conversations. Few people genuinely listen to others, so when you do that, you’re winning big time. Status comes from achievement and accomplishments, at the root. Generally you won’t achieve much without a strong frame. You better believe those Army Rangers and Navy SEALS have been put through the ringer and have very strong frames. The confidence they have coming from their mental and physical prowess gives off the vibe that they can’t be messed with. It’s a vibe these men put off by having a strong frame coupled with the knowledge others have of their status.

Firstly, anyone who is disrespecting you is not a friend. If they flake every now and again, take of it what you will. Maybe they’re busy, had something come up, are embarrassed by what they have to do instead of hang out with you, etc. It doesn’t matter so much with your male friends because there are no sexual games going on. Men generally don’t operate along the same lines that women do when it comes to spending time with one another because there is no sexual tension involved. Spinning plate…
