Ngl it definitely scratches an itch when it's from a person who has gone out of their way to make their relationship seem perfect to everyone else.

No a manchild is a man that reacts to negative emotions or adult conflict like a child would, i.e. shouting, slamming doors, breaking shit, storming off
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 08:05 PM

It's a term reserved for plants and animals and the connotations are rather sterile.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 09:45 PM

Of all the words to convey sexual attraction, you chose the one that equates her to a domesticated animal.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 09:37 PM

I hope you don't say this kind of shit out loud

A lot of them have made it clear that they don't care to make friends or bond with people in that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 11:45 PM

It's an insecure attachment style. They are complacent and put in less effort when they think they have you, like when you're being nice and attentive, and then overcompensate when they think you're slipping away. Unfortunately a lot of people operate this way. Avoid them if you can.

Hypergamy is definitely real but too many women allow themselves to be shamed out of doing it and sell themselves short.

Getting close with the glue of a friend group is such a life hack.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 08:13 PM

I'm really sorry to hear that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 06:51 PM

They're not complaining now either when they have a rich dad. Dating a man that is beneath you literally only benefits that man. Dating a man that is at your level or above benefits you and the children you'll have. That's what women should be taught.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 06:49 PM

If the women they want are passing them up for better men, they're obviously not benefitting.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 06:27 PM

Men complain about hypergamy when it doesn't benefit their dating life but the fact is that nobody would ever complain about their mother being hypergamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:39 PM

I would hope that most of these people are aware that it's still very possible, even up until a woman is in her 40s. I think the argument is mostly used as a scare tactic to discourage women from waiting until their 30s to marry and have children.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 11:21 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 11:16 PM

Believe it or not, many centrist politicians do actually lean one way versus the other and they run on these platforms because it appeals to the most people and gets them voted into office. Where is Al Gore now? He has less influence and power than he’s ever had in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 03:14 AM
1

The problem is that when it comes down to it, extremist ideologies accomplish very little in the room where decisions are made. Centrists are at least able to negotiate on both sides and gather enough buy in to move the needle - and move it much further than the "all or nothing" approach that most extremists take.

No, I don't believe that most women think this way. If an autistic person is high functioning enough to hold their own in social settings, they can consent. It sounds like she was being overly cautious and as a result, inadvertently ableist. Autistic men struggle with dating (even high functioning) because they struggle with interpreting non-verbal cues and expressing themselves appropriately, which makes them difficult for women to connect with.

Hot women, easily. Men will sometimes try to humble a hot woman down to his level in order to get her. Women don't do that with hot men, they become pick-me's.

Where do you live where you can report multiple women talking about having threesomes over the weekend? Casual sex and having boyfriends aren't really hobbies as much as they are social activities, like hanging out with friends. A lot of attractive women that I know have hobbies related to fitness. Yoga, pilates, lifting, dance, etc. They're usually into beauty, skincare, and fashion too. I don't necessarily think that they do these things because they are hot, but rather they've elevated their …

Sure but one of us needs to quit or switch departments.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 09:50 PM

Most women are not doing professional special effects makeup every morning or wearing enough to look like a different person. Men, who hardly notice when a woman has gotten highlights or a haircut, would be unfazed.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 05:52 PM

I’m gonna keep this in mind when somebody gets mad at women for monkey branching and being hypergamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 04:23 AM
1

Errr..no, not quite. It's not the betrayal, it's watching him pleasure other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/23 06:58 PM

Yeah, or just generally allowing your man to be unfaithful.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/23 06:47 PM

It is what it is, sometimes the relationship just runs its course and that's fine. Most relationships that start out that young don't last. People change a lot in their early adulthood and that can make maintaining a LTR very challenging.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/23 06:45 PM

She's still super young. Committing to a guy forever just because she's known him for so long would have been a bigger mistake.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/23 06:36 PM

It's hard to measure who likes who more, but I know that some men will display as if they are the one who cares less to maintain control over the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/23 06:33 PM

I sort of see the appeal in cuckqueanry but only as a fantasy, I think going through with it would make me sick.

It is to men who don’t have access to casual sex but want it.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/23 02:25 AM

This isn’t always true in dating because men and women value different things in one another and set standards accordingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 11:17 PM
7

Women are intimidated by cold approaches and even then, most of the time they’ll just say no. But this isn’t a cold approach. You have a class with them and reason to approach. Just make it casual, ask them questions related to the assignments and steer it into a general conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 11:14 PM
1

Most women would still rather be pursued by men than the other way around. I won't deny that women who shame the cold approach have shot themselves in the foot but these are women who are in a class with him, it's hardly a cold approach and I doubt he will be castrated over it. It gives the same energy as women who cry that dating men is a toss up between being brutally raped/murdered and finding out the guy is married two months in. It's foolish.

We still have parks, public libraries, and bookstores - all of which you can hang out at without paying money or a small fee, if that. There has not been a time in history where you could hang out at a bar or cafe without purchasing a drink or exercise at a gym without paying a membership fee. We may have LESS of those because people are CHOOSING not to utilize them. People are more socially anxious and isolated than ever before leading them to be disinterested in spending time outside of work/h…

There are some good group travel expeditions out there. Or if you aren't into the set group itinerary thing, just schedule some group tours and activities on your own and make friends along the way.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 10:18 PM
1

They've cited cafes, bars, gyms, and libraries as third places - last I checked we still have those. The places that are closing are doing so because people are choosing not to spend their time there anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 10:11 PM
1

These articles don't counter what I'm saying. The third places are still there, people are just not utilizing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 09:53 PM
1

Well those are what 3rd places traditionally were.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 09:27 PM

Any woman who sticks around with a man for 6 months and no commitment is a doormat. But I guess that’s what y’all want?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 07:55 PM

We’re experiencing loss of people utilizing 3rd places. There are plenty of gyms, cafes, libraries, and parks.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 07:53 PM

We have more of those than ever before, the problem is that people are sensitive and antisocial.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 07:24 PM

Ew that’s ugly
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 06:57 PM

If a woman can make up any old number and assign it to herself as her body count, then how much does body count actually matter?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 05:32 PM

Then the ladies should be able to ask what a man’s bank account or credit score looks like and expect an honest answer. How often he watches porn too.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 11:38 PM

Depends on the woman because some like to take things very slow like that. Kissing on the first or second date seems like the norm though.

Most of the people were average to above average. But that’s naturally going to happen with these kinds of things - more attractive people are going to feel more compelled to share photos of themselves.

Something to this effect happened a couple years ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:59 PM

The statement about most women not being on dating apps isn't true. I believe about half of women under 30 have reported using dating apps. The reason for the uneven ratio is that women are more likely to be able to hop on an app, get what they want, and then leave the app. Women who haven't used apps usually meet guys at bars, parties, and work/school.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 09:26 PM
2

Kind of? I think a lot of people understand that nobody is perfect, including those who might be their "on paper" ideal. But there are certainly those whose expectations are unrealistic and they end up settling because they've run out of time or they have no other options.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 09:11 PM

Crying isn't masculine, stoicism is.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 04:47 PM

But when a woman says this about her boyfriend it's "bad vetting".
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 10:02 PM

Morality is determined by what actions create the best outcomes and there is a lot of evidence that promiscuity is more physically and mentally damaging than it is helpful.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 09:54 PM

I think n count and suggesting weight loss are quite a bit more.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 06:47 PM

Why what’s wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 06:41 PM

Promiscuity from either gender is generally perceived as a net negative for society, which is why it's considered morally wrong.

No it isn't. The financial burdens in divorce for men are often short-term, especially nowadays since alimony is uncommon. He may have to pay child support, but it's likely that he would have allocated that amount of money (or more) to his children each month anyway whether or not there was a divorce. For women, the financial burden is long term, especially if she wasn't working or only worked part time as she no longer has her husband's income. Women also typically take on more of the burden of…

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/23 05:54 PM

8pm is typically when people are the least active and have down time, compared to the morning or day time. She's probably not not out and about every single night at that time and excusing yourself from the group just to take a pill is doing too much.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/23 02:56 AM

There are definitely some women who are delusional about where they stand in terms of attractiveness and OLD has amplified this. I still think most women are pursuing men within their looksmatch, maybe up to a point higher.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 11:58 PM

I'm a 28 year old doomer millennial.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 10:46 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 10:43 PM

Obviously it's a benefit to themselves as well. Women have pretty much always had the ability to marry up in social class. Considering marriage and having children is inherently more risky for women, I think choosing a partner who makes more money is a perfectly fair exchange.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 06:41 PM

Because women are more likely than men to put their career on pause or work less hours in order to care for young children, so it makes sense to find a man who makes more money and can compensate.

Men’s fashion does not change nearly as quickly as women’s fashion, but anyway - Timeless outfits are always king. Jeans, t-shirt, converse, button ups, sweaters, etc. Men should spend more time working on their physique than worrying about fashion because muscles look good in damn near everything.

I don't see a lot of this tbh, but both of those things are so subjective anyway. Does in shape mean he's healthy and active or does it mean he's a gym bro? Does success mean he has a good job and can live comfortably or does it mean he's a millionaire? Is tall 5'10+ or 6'2+?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 04:12 PM

My personal favorite.. Men: all we want is a woman who isn’t fat!….also she has to be a virgin but instinctively knows how to deep throat without instruction, she has to have a job but can’t be a nurse or secretary or anything that requires her to leave the house, she still has to do all of the domestic chores, she’s never allowed to argue or be upset, she has to be okay with me cheating, she has to snap back to her pre baby body approximately 2.3 weeks after giving birth, and she’s not allowed …

Of course you can, I'm just saying that sometimes having a LTR at the same time can complicate things. For example, say you get a really good job offer in another state after graduation that beats all of your other job prospects but your partner can't move with you because they just accepted a job in the state you're currently living in, signed a lease to an apartment, etc. You can either take the job offer and be LDR, take the job offer and break up, or turn the job offer down and settle for a …

Lol the consequences of divorce are mostly consistent throughout the western world. Women disproportionately lose more household income because men are generally the financial providers and women bear a higher burden of single parenting because they are generally the primary caregivers for children. Working women tend to make less money overall because domestic priorities (I.e. childcare) override career ambitions. Even if a mother starts working on a part or full time basis after the children s…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/23 12:57 AM

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5992251/ Essentially, men are more vulnerable to short term consequences (mostly well being) but women are more vulnerable to chronic consequences due to disproportionate loss in household income and bearing the higher burden of single parenting.

Rock climbing and partner dancing.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/23 11:40 PM

Women are significantly worse off than men after divorce, especially if there are children involved. Whereas in marriage men are more at risk of losing money and assets, having children is significantly more of a burden and risk to women. Of course women want the fathers of their children to be beholden to them - it would be foolish of them to not.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/23 11:29 PM

Harems have only ever been acceptable for the elite because those men had the ability to provide for multiple women. If you aren't doing that, then you're just a cheater.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/23 10:59 PM

My point is that marriage is not a one-sided assertion of control. The woman is just as locked into the marriage as the man and both consented to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/23 10:30 PM

Marriage is ultimately a mutual decision made between two partners and requires both parties to consent. Men have the agency to not get married if they don't want to.

So he doesn't trust me enough to not divorce rape him and therefore withholds his wealth, but I am expected to just trust that he is going to care for our children and not leave me a single mother? If he wants to operate our marriage as if divorce is imminent, then it's only fair that I do the same and not have his children. Statistically speaking, single mothers are far worse off than single fathers (especially wealthy ones). Aside from the huge physical burden that is pregnancy, childbirth, an…

Women bare the brunt of pregnancy and childbirth. If a man is denying me access to his resources, why should I sacrifice my body and allow him access to the greatest resource I have? I won’t be treated like a second class citizen in my own marriage, where everybody in my family has access to his wealth except for me. That’s fucked up. And let’s turn the tables - he doesn’t want to share his wealth with me in case we divorce and I take it all? Fine. Then I don’t want to have his children in case …
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 02:37 PM
1

Well, that’s the kind I’d be comfortable with 🤷‍♀️ I’m not interested in marrying a guy who would go to such lengths to keep his resources from me, let alone giving my body to him and having his children. Odds are that some big risks were taken to earn that wealth. Now he wants be be “risk adverse” and keep it from his wife? Like I said, I’d rather be with a non-rich man who worked and earned the same as me.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 05:08 AM
1

No it isn’t. The structure you described implies that I would never receive the benefits of my spouse’s wealth, married or not - I’m baring the consequence of a prenup without the actual divorce. I would be okay with a prenup that allowed me to enjoy the benefits of my spouse’s wealth while married, but in the event of a divorce I would lose the benefits.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 02:42 AM
1

It’s fine if he acknowledges divorce as a possibility and I would be okay with a prenup. I think hoarding wealth and withholding it from your spouse while you’re married to them is strange and I wouldn’t like it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 02:01 AM
1

I personally would not enter a marriage with divorce in mind, nor am I interested in taking a man for all he's got. I'm not interested in marrying a guy who has millions in the bank but withholds it throughout our entire marriage because he doesn't trust that I won't divorce and wring him dry - it's being punished for something I haven't done. I would rather just marry a non-millionaire guy who works and makes roughly the same as me, without the weird feelings of distrust.

No way would parents send their daughters to any college if they knew even a small percentage of rape might happen. Sure they would.
