I agree with that. I was just saying his bitch-radar may not be going off strongly enough wrt her.

Judging yourself by impossible standards (brad pitt) is a recipe for self-loathing and depression. I sure hope he will realize it that she is mistreating him. That said, it is very easy to be fooled by your feelings for a person and stay in denial (and she could be all sweet to him to his face). It is very human to fall into this trap and waking up can be very hard. I find you are being unreasonably harsh and judgy with the guy without having the evidence to support that he is not 'man' enough. …

She could be lying to his face, you dont know. I usually dont assume fault first for the party being wronged, because you cant definitevily prove it. But we do have proof of her being a bitch.

You are using a rhetorical strategy frequently used by Soviet Union and modern-day Russia: whataboutism. Anytime a legitimate critiqie of Russia would be raised - by any one - it would be countered by claims of "but what about america doing x?" It should be obvious to you that you are engaging is dishonesty right now.

Really? TBP makes fun of TRP. TRP is made up of men. Ergo, TBP makes fun of all men? You don't see a problem with this logic? Also, strawmanned the feminism complaint pretty hard there, dont you think? It is just that women/feminism dont want to be defined by the few extreme voices of feminism that may be batshit. Were you even alive during the very recent reaction by feminists against Gloria Steinem's "women only vote for Bernie cause thats where the boys are"? Yet Steinem is frequently trotted…

in career and generally life, men. in dating, women.

you don't seem to understand probabilities. you say "naturally gravitates" which implies that she prefers a certain kind of man, i.e. has more preference for one kind of man than another (let's say 80% for one kind, 20% for the other). that still means she can be attracted to the other kind of man 20% of the time, and thus, have a non-zero probability of sleeping with him. what you mean to say is "exclusively" gravitates, i.e. is just as much of a shithead racist as you are.

i don't see TRP trying to change that. I see feminism doing it, though.

nigga they freely chose to be sexual slaves? what the fuck is wrong with you? if the choice is to get fucked or die, most people would choose the former, cause you know, they want to fucking live.

most people are aiming for a better life balance. only a few want to live life like a straight psychopath working 80 hrs a week. If you could have a good life working 40 hours a week, most people would take that, regardless of gender. And they do.

we are discussing core TRP beliefs here (the "sidebar"), and TRP frequently judges an entire gender by posting sensationalized news stories that are a sample size of 1 and usually represent an extreme outlier. We're doing better than TRP right now, intellectually. Trust me.

that's not logical at all... rational self-interest is about maximizing your own position. If the world give you free shit, why not take it? Like, you have to be stupid not to. It's got nothing to do with subjugating anyone if you're litterally given things with others' consent, which is essentially all the pussypass is. Both parties in the transaction are consenting adults.

man here, who dabbled a bit with TRP and now can only laugh at it. I will only answer the first two questions. yes it's mostly pseudoscience and confirmation bias. It also commits the naturalistic fallacy (what is natural is good). It also misrepresents what "natural" is (i.e. alpha/beta dichotomy). It portrays itself as logical and reasonable, yet it's full of whiny, emotional rants about getting your feelings hurt by this or that woman. Almost every single time a scientific article is discusse…

There is a lot of selection and confirmation bias going on with trp, so it definitely is just a way. But it can be quite effective and does have some truisms (not universal) about human behaviour. For me I can only take trp piecemeal - just the self-improvement parts, but not the ultra traditional and conservative double standards it preaches. I would say id summarie trp for me as follows: "dont be anyone's bitch and here are some tools for doing so"

So if my housewife who barely does anything divorces me and takes half my shit, she will have gotten paid the same as me. Yet I was the one that worked. How can people seriously worry about the wage gap when inequalities like this exist?

most of the time, evolutionary psychology is used to defend one's own preconceptions of how one perceives the world works.
