This actually raises an interesting point, both on how badly companies react to vocal minorities (which allows for PC policing) and how little people care about mens negative depictions.

IIRC, further academic examinations into this study proved women were being hired more often due to blind auditions, but their success rate didn't improve. Instead more women felt comfortable auditioning know it would be blind, and probability lead to more women getting hired.

IIRC, she was already a feminist writer, and hung out with some drag queens one night and they taught her how to look and act like a man. She was so surprised by how differently she was treated (mainly how ignored she was in public, or how she didn't feel so afraid of other men) that it inspired her to write this book. I thought we were pro men, not anti feminist. Theres a lot of times the two intersect, but not here man. This is a guy that needs help and right now she seems like shes one of the few in a position to do so.
