5	Do you agree with Redonkulas' assessment of what to expect in case of divorce? The contract has to benefit both parties for it to be enforceable. Meaning, the party that’s less well off, needs to see return for their time investment in the marriage. This could be in the form of them gaining a % of the other persons asset as mariral assets, or spousal support, for every number of years they remain in the marriage. 23	Do you agree with Redonkulas' assessment of what to expect in case of divorce? Am a lawyer who actually had to defend a prenup. Shit can only go so far in the opposite the direction of what courts would do in terms of division of assets before it’s tossed out ad unconscionable. If the marriage is long term, for example, and the nup does not provide for a wayfor the wife to increase her own assets (if she’s sahm) then that is de facto unenforceable (in my jurisdiction).
