Honestly - this sounds quite a bit pua-ish. Showing (faked) effort and acting like he really was interested in you as a person till he picks up you start to like him; then an attempt to "break" you, so you will take anything from / for him - because "He Is So GrEaT oThErWiSe" and will think of yourself as lesser / somehow guilty for his treatment of you. That guy is manipulative af, if he does this conciously or not. Plus he showed you in his "down-moment" how he will treat you and how he really…

Woah - he thinks he has a right to her money? And not even just for one thing - no. It has to be for 5, 6, 7 different ones. While criticizing her for the few things she buys for herself - also with her own money.... .... and I bet he doesn't lift a finger at home and with the kids.... don't think it's more than the absolute minimum and all the rest gets done by her when she comes home from work. What a weak excuse of a man and a human being. I'm just so concerned that women like her - poor soul…

Such a sadistic POS. They can't stand even the slightest "not functioning" of a woman, even if it's for a very "real" reason. Run, sis!! Such a guy will never be capable of loving any woman. The ingrained hate (and the coupling with lust/pleasure in their brains - just like pavlow's dogs,) goes to deep. Run.

So, it's like it always is. Man gets (for once in his life) confronted with the consequences acts of his fellow men have for women - everyday and for our whole lifes (and these are "just" the secondary/indirect ones); but in his mind, the only thought is that this is somehow also to blame on us and that he's the true victim here. And he get's angry and agressive. Who had have thought..... I know, it's not that of a harsh example (which also says a lot, sadly), but still; he sounds exactly like a…

What I don't get: They both (read him too) wanted a baby. To have a baby, there has to be 9 months pregnancy. As it is, only the woman can do that. So she doe's it for both. Why does he act as if clearly pregnancy related needs / things are "just" her needs? Even if one agrees to the rest of the setting, this one doesn't add up at all. So he has to at least make 50/50 with all these things too. Not to mention all the other issues regarding his behaviour..... from a 38 year old..... Edit: A word.

The obvious rest aside for a moment - this language! I could barf. It's the same in my language. Just, let's say 10 years ago, it would have been (if at all in that manner) "I want to fuck / do it / whatever with her". The word which indicates a relation to another person is entirely gone. Language is a good indicator, be it for culutural or personal values. And this just screams further dehumanization. At least to me.

We don't need their awards anyways - it's our connection & community, that we are no longer kept isolated from each other and that we are speaking up and open up our eyes and often the eyes of the ones around us too - women and men. Hope, this finds you happy, healthy and free (or with the strenght to get it!!) & wish you a nice day. Take care :)

I too think he leaves out a lot of information here.... Although that seems to be almost always the case, but this here screams it even more... Just a little lighthearted thought of mine I usually get when encountering such scenes: I'm sorry (am I?), but I can't help me with this inner image; but when a guy pulls off this kind of behaviour, there's always a little picture creeping in my mind, in front of my inner eye.... And it's the picture a really agitated rooster; ruffling his feathers, trying to look big and intimidating towards the "naive little female" but simultaneously he's also trying to look "super-full-fledged-fluffy-shiny-r…

Exactly. But also a sad reminder about how things really are.... still are. Also it's unfortunately not practiced everywhere (the anonymised applications); in my country no application would be accepted without full info - which gives of course plenty of possiblities for discrimination. ".... she is a deadbeat mom..." -NO. SHE IS NOT. If anyone, then he is. Bet the child is almost all the time with his parents, most likely the mother? If he could, he would let that kid fall down like a hot potato. It sounds like the only reason he hasn't is because the court knows the story, so he can't go and get rid of the child (I'm so sorry for this little boy and this harsh words - he didn't deserve a "father" like this). Also, he seems to like to present himself as *"the brave single dad"…

Like you said. Often it's - sadly - just two things: Wanting to have a "mini-me" (which means of course only a boy) and the classical "baby-trapping". It's sad and it hasn't to be like that, but if we take an honest look around us, we see just so, so many prime examples of this. Too many. Edit: Typo

It's sad because they don't do it out of love. Like she does. They do it because she "pays" for it it that manner. Also - no mentioning at all of loving her back. Only "yeah, right! I have to love myself and invest in myself!". I mean, that's totally okay - but not like that. They seem to see love just as something they get. Profit out of being with a woman. And that's it.

There are individual men who are like that, yes. And such a man absolutely is so loveable. *But....* NOT ALL MEN. Not as a class (as they see and treat us); not as a whole / social group. Then they are far, far away from that. So far we somethimes can't even imagine. I'm happy for her because I think she wrote this out of love for an individual man. But I so, so hope for it to not be just an illusion and a trap for her. Also - this type of generalized thinking can be (is!) so dangerous. And now …

Relationship means partnership. Power imbalance = no partnership / no relationship. I can understand if someone for the very moment can't / won't speak something trough, because they need to recollect themselves / calm down a bit / need a bit of space to think for themselves. That's okay. But it stops being okay if that's an overall tactic that gets used every time. Especially when someone gets agressive / threatening. I think it's because that type of men sees us women not as humans put of ourselves, but just as extensions of men. So they can't stand it to see women who don't fit in that mold, especially if they seem to be happy like that. Just think about all the guys who go off like hell when they see a woman saying "I'm fine being single"..... even if she's not even close to their type and they have zero interest in her anyways; but it can't be for them that a woman says publicly she's fine without a man..…

He really should have worked on himself - but that has nothing to do with women. Funny - if women are always the problem to blame + carry the whole reaponsibility, even for his actions - how long he took to get to that conclusion... also, for that amount of women in that time period they could barely get to know him and know about his situation and about the other women before and after them, but still they are to blame and the cause of it? Also, I think it's a kind of "agenda" to push, promote & consolidate / strenghten things like the social status / positi…

Exactly. Nothing more behind that. And she even is a becoming dermatologist - so it makes perfectly sense to be intersted in these products, what new comes to the market etc. Plus, it's - just maybe! - one of the only little things she has who make her feel good, who are giving her a little, little space for selfcare / wellness just for herself and not always just for others.... and this "man" can't stand that. I've seen this so many times - they could have all they ever wanted - but if she has …

No, it's just a sign that someone is not looking for a partner, but for someone to posess & have advantage over. Nope! Edit: To sum it up short: Partners, not servants!

This works normally with all types of toxic people because - at least IMO - they try to take their power over others out of control. If you flat out refuse and show no / minimum emotional dependance on them, they fear to lose (you). Also it's much healthier for you, if you decide what you'll get to you and which things not. Can't change what happens to you - but you can change how you act and feel towards it. Great post!

Sad but true. I'm sorry for every decent man, but we all are better safe than sorry. It's nothing new predators use any kind of authorithy and / or vulnerable situations. And also - we sadly still have so often to work much more and harder for the same - not to mention appreciation and respect in our working environments. But we can use this and turn it in a win-win situation: As a customer / client / patient you'll be safer (and often also more respected and taken seriously) with choosing a wom…

About commitment - if you feel like the person you're being in a relationship with as partners isn't your absolute best friend in the world and no literally extension/enrichment of yourself & your life and vice versa - then why are you even there? What is it then?! That says pretty much about them and how they really think and feel about it. It is or it is not. There is no "maybe" IMO. I was always told, I should just "try out" more and such stuff, relationship wise. NO! I never was and will nev…

It's just so sad, that we even have to say things like this. And it doesn't stop there either - but still, people are taking this as normal...

It's sad - but it just looks like such men don't see the point in gifting someone they think they already "own" (yes, this type thinks like that, sadly). So why invest something in that person? And if they do, like mentioned in the post, it's often cheap and without thought. It's a burden for them and they don't feel love towards their partners, but "love" the love & affection they get out of them. That's it. Sad, but so often just the truth. Honestly - how often see they the women in their life…

And how many think still like this if they see just anything that looks female - like just or faces? Not really sure if I want to know....

We can already see it in language: it's not "having sex/fucking together" - it's "I fuck you /her". Same in my native language german; I've noticed that shift over the past decade and it just got worse. There, ten, fifteen years ago, a "I fuck you" would have been considered very rude - today everyone seems to speak (and think...!) like that.
