811 for 1 kid, and we have joint physical and legal, and her trifling ass still can't be on time for our meetups. Her being late the last time cost me a job interview, and I was a strong candidate.

My ex-wife was 6 months pregnant with another man's twins when she asked me if it was OK for her to date ten days after I asked for a divorce. She now brings her current boyfriend to our meetup uninvited and unannounced while he's driving her car with my name on it(a different story for another day). It'll be a snowball chance in hell before I give her a heads-up. The disrespect I've dealt with from her these past 3 years is beyond reproach. We can barely be in the same room, so naw, I'm not tel…

Fucked up part is they sacrifice family for their selfishness and still end up as miserable as they were when married. Sometimes, it gets worse, and they blame us for their failure to adjust emotionally.

The court system is like that; she cheated and got rewarded for it while I'm still recovering from the lost and child support payments. I won't complain, but dude, this has left a horrible taste in my mouth regarding marriage. I'm leaning heavily towards not having any more children.

Absolutely not, she got pregnant with twins by AP(who's a deadbeat), put me on childsupport($811 a month), then ran up 10k in bills that had to be subtracted from the final sale of the home(light bill, Water bill, HOA hadn't been paid in a year, then she was 2 months behind on the mortgage) moved 200 miles away and didn't tell me until 4 weeks prior and now I only see my kid 2 days a month because she refuses to meet me on my designated Fridays because she chose to purchase a home 40 miles from …

My guy, you have to think long-term. Trust and believe that the honeymoon phase will wear off, and she will realize she Royally fucked up because the dude she cheated on you with just wanted new pussy, and every man in this subreddit that's dealt with cheating ass hoes, can tell you here it'll get old quickly. What she fails to realize, but will very soon, is her new dude doesn't want to build a life with her. He just wants to skeet inside her sugar walls. Mission accomplished, he will move on, …

Not being in the same household as my daughter is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I’m missing out on her growing up all because my ex decided she wants to be in the streets and have somebody else’s kids. Besides that nothing.

Yep, I did hell I smashed a month before our divorce was finalized to get her to stay out of court for the final hearing. Had she come, she would've messed up everything and made 20 months of dragging out our divorce a complete waste. I, like many other men in this reddit, have said, don't it. It didn't mess me up, but I definitely had her thinking we could salvage our relationship. She cheated and had a set of twins by her AP, so there was no chance in hell I was cleaning that up after the fog …

13k in unofficial child support, over 10k in lawyer fees 3k in fees to sell the home, she cleaned out the investment account so thats another 16k gone, then she purchased hundreds of stupid cups valued at 20-30k, then I owe her 15 years of child support at 811 a month(which will rise in a few years because she's a pocket watching duchebag), lost the house that had over 100k in equity but the biggest lost is going from seeing my child ever single day to seeing her 4 days a month. She has primary …

You'll rarely find that here because women initiate 80-90% of divorces. Most men will still stick with an incompatible partner unless she becomes hostile to the point of mental/physical safety. We would just find ways to deal with her bullshit because 9/10, the court could care less about our incompatibilities when it comes to dividing martial assets and child support. If abuse isn't involved then most issues can be solved if the couples truly want it and that includes incompatibility.

I will never sign up to be a stepdad, but I believe that 80% stat is a bit exaggerated.

It has been two years since I asked for a divorce, and it was finalized about four months ago. I know you will hear this a million times, but life gets better, and time heals all. I suggest you keep busy and DON'T replay your marriage in your head. If that requires some counseling, then go that route. Divorce sucks, but the ultimate revenge is to live well and prosper. By living well and moving on, you get the last laugh. It took about 20 months to get it together because I was going through a l…
