Chronically understaffed and mismanaged. It was terrible for the staff and the clients.

I agree completely. I spent 15 years working at a program for men in their late teens/early 20's with a variety of behavioral and substance use disorders. Restraints were common. It was guaranteed that I'd end up in at least one or two restraints every shift. And they weren't pretty. These were 2-300 lb dudes, some with serious mental health issues. When one (or more than one, on some occasions) went off on you, they needed to be restrained as quickly as possible. As I know you're well aware as …

All true. However, I find it to be less biased than any major American or British news source.

Did anyone read the article? Anyone look at where it's published? Anyone notice the language it uses? What reputable news source uses the term "Pro-Abortion?" There are soooooo many legitimate men's rights issues that need to be discussed. Why the mods allow shit like this to be posted here blows my mind. Why 224 people blindly upvoted it is also beyond me. I thought this sub was for serious discussion about men's rights. Edit: Thank you so much for the Reddit Gold. I truly appreciate it. I've a…

I'm not sure. I always use Reddit from my laptop. But the sidebar is loaded with good information. If you can access, give it all a read (or two) to get an idea of what TRP is all about. To answer your original question, SMV stands for Sexual Market (or Marketplace) Value. It's what you're "worth," sexually/romantically.

Too many men "fall in love" not with the woman, but with their ideal of the woman. Very true. Very, very true.

Thanks, bro! You know what's cool? I wanted to be just like me when I grew up, too. I did the work and now here I am. I can't even BEGIN to tell you the level of satisfaction I enjoy every single day, knowing that I'm a self-made man. I was 27 when my transformation began, so you've already got a year on me. Best of luck, brother!

Everything you're feeling, I've felt. I used to want what you want. Slowly, as I learned more and started objectively observing the way men and women interact, I realized that I could never have what I wanted. I used to want a woman that shared my interests that I could be myself around, too. But now I have more realistic goals. Women are not like men. Their interests are different. This isn't a bad thing - but believe me, it's a thing. Don't let the name "girlfriend" fool you - a girlfriend is …

Awesome. Pumping iron changed my life, bro. Saved my life, in a lot of ways. You got a 4-year head start on me. Started at 27. To each his own. Most of the women I date are in their twenties. In fact, the three I'm dating right now are 20, 24, and 25. But every once in a while I'll meet an attractive older woman that I just have to have.

I'm quite knowledgeable about brain chemistry and you're WAYYYYYYY oversimplifying things - but you're not entirely wrong. I've optimized my brain chemistry to become the man I want to be (on TRT, take supps to increase/modulate dopamine in certain parts of the brain, E2 blockers when necessary, etc). Brain chemistry plays a crucial role in all this RP stuff.

I'm with you, brother. Had serious health problems throughout my teens and early twenties. Led to problems with drugs and alcohol and severe anxiety and depression. I was a fucking mess. Started getting my shit together in late 20's, started lifting, eating right, got off hard drugs and alcohol, quit smoking, started studying the art and science of seduction, and started being social. Now, I'm 37 and in better shape than most guys in their early 20's. I regularly get it in with women anywhere fr…

I don't chime in often, but as an older guy (relatively - 37) who enjoys the company of a variety of women, I can tell you that your reasoning is flawed - respectfully, of course. I love women of all shapes and sizes, always have. Fit, fat, tall, short, black, white, old, young - I love it all. My preference is for short, fit, younger women, but every once in a while I like stray from that - it keeps life interesting. Anyway, over the years I've learned that there is no one-size-fits-all game. S…

You'd think so, but no. As someone who's played around with their hormones, I can tell you that Test/Est plays a HUGE role in how rational and emotional you are. I've had low test with high estrogen. It made me emotional and irrational. I've also had high test/low E2 and I was way more rational and way less emotional. No question about it, bro.

That "muskier" scent is increased testosterone. Women can literally smell your test level - no bullshit.

I lurk here a lot but rarely comment or post. But, I gotta say, you nailed it: all of it. I'm 37 years old and have been hip to the RP from the beginning. Everything you said was dead on. Well written, well thought out - excellent post.

I'm really not trying to be an a hole. But fitness is something I'm passionate about. There is soooo much confusion out there about how to get in shape. Pills, equipment, programs. .. and it's alllllll BS. People want to believe there's some magic tips and tricks and life hacks out there to get in shape. .. But there isn't.

It's not, though. The fitness and bb faqs tell you exactly what you need to do gain muscle/lose fat, and why it works. This article isn't really informative. Edit: and the whole "5 tips" thing is just a marketing ploy. Yes, people eat it up. But you're not going to build a good physique by following five tips. You need to follow a handful of well established principles that are all beautifully outlined in r/fitness.

I'm not trying to be negative, but this information is useless. I've been bodybuilding for 7 years. If you are interested in transforming your body and want actual information, go check out /fitness or /bodybuilding. The faqs on the right have all the info you need.
