You know, one thing I love about this sub in particular is that if you pay just a little bit of attention, you can easily tell who has actually put in the time and effort to speak to and get to know women as actual human beings... and the others who simply sit in their basements reading “theory” , watching videos made by self appointed “experts” and who look at women solely in abstract terms because it’s both intellectually and socially less of a strain on their slow processors to do so. It’s qu…

It could be the types of women you are drawn to. Now that you’ve dumped TRP, it might be the case that you need to recalibrate the types of women you are approaching. It happened with me as well. When I spit out TRP, it took me a while to notice that the women who I was attracting were mostly insecure attachment types. When I was able to notice the signs better, I was able to adjust and seek out women who were not like that. It takes time and patience, but it’s doable.

Exactly... “All Women are like that,” being said after at most a small handful of bad experiences. Dudes get super defensive when I point blank ask them how many women have done this to them..”Well, why should THAT matter?” Well, because 3-5 is a VERY small sample size, for one, and another, most guys don’t really tell the whole story. Again, much easier and emotionally soothing for a dude to claim that he’s fine and that all 4 billion women are wrong, vs. taking responsibility and engaging in t…

Ok, for some reason I can't quote you now, so I'll just go by paragraph... You are categorizing people by number, as if there is a universal looks scale that applies to everyone. This is a blatant fallacy, and what ends up getting a lot of people in trouble, mindset-wise. The fact is different people have different definitions of what an "8" is, for example. When Megan Fox did the transformers movie, for example, I got ridiculed for suggesting that she wasn't that special, although so many of my…

You can certainly picture things however you'd like. I also know a lot of these mismatched couples, and there are no underlying "insecurities" there. I myself am in what many would consider to be a "mismatched" relationship right now (although she doesn't think so). No emotional abnormalities or issues there either. What it basically come down to is: who are you to say what the "odds" are or aren't for all, most, or even a small handful of men and women? People attitudes don't exist in a binary …

In other words, an average looking guy in the real world, knows that he isn't going to attract a very attractive woman in all likelihood. I think leagues are a bit of a general concept. Just that people tend to date and marry in their socioeconomic class, with someone around their level of looks. I'm not even sure I'm in full agreement with this. And it has nothing to do with me being "brainwashed" by PUA teachings. Knowing that looks matter does not necessarily equate or justify a belief that s…

Looks are for sure important. We all want someone we actually want to f*ck. Part of the whole reason we consider relationships "more than just friends." Having said that, I find the whole "league" thing isn't as crystalized as pop evopsych makes it out to be, IMHE.

Harris O'Malley, aka Dr. Nerdlove....aka, the dude who helped me spit out the redpill would be my (biased) suggestion. That being said....I agree with Half Ice.....you shouldn't "look up" to any internet personality, per se. This can easily lead down the slippery slope to cult behavior. Honestly... I couldn’t give less of a shit whether the experience is anecdotal or if it comes from a sample size is 200,000 or more. Makes no difference to me or how I choose to operate in the world. I find spending too much time in the intellectual weeds with “theory” is one of the worst ways to spend your time. You become like a dog chasing its tail. Overanalysis leads to inaction, which leads to more theorizing, which leads to more inaction. You can eventually get sucked down a rabbit hole wh…

I just don’t get how so many guys get so wrapped up in what studies say, almost as if a study result is going to then determine what a guy does and how he is going to approach and interact with women. So what if “studies show” that women like muscles or bad boys? Big f*cking deal. I like talking to and dating women, so I’m going to do it. Even when I was at my lowest, I was never really concerned with statistics and studies. I just went out and did my thing. Just seems like people want any excus…

Don’t apologize for telling the truth! I’ve said before, 90% of people ( men AND women’s) dating issues would be solved immediately if they simply had a more realistic attitude on what they expect another human being to offer in relation to what they themselves offer others. The mismatched expectations and the refusal to face our own shortcomings is what leads to this.

I think (although I can't swear on it) that a lot of these RP "gurus" were once students of people like Todd and other Non-RP coaches, and failed massively at it. Instead of working out how they might have been at fault for their results, it became easier (and less painful) to simply point the finger at both women and the coaching industry instead. Think about it. What's going to require less pain and effort: Really going deep into yourself to figure out how you can be better, or passing the buc…

Tomassi, when you think about it, is no different or more enlightened than any of us. He's just one man, stumbling and fumbling about in the dark, trying to make sense of it all the only way he knows how. It's really sad that this kind of crap is what is passing for men's dating advice these days. I speak as someone who believes in the power of coaching. I hired a coach back in 2015 to help me with my issues and his coaching changed my life. Self improvement for the sole purpose of female validation is dangerous thinking. Just because you don't see a problem with randomly chatting someone up in a grocery store doesn't mean other people do. For me and most people I know, getting groceries is an utter slog, and we want to just get in and get out, and not be held up for an additional 15 minutes talking to some random who we will most likely never see again. The only good parts of the Redpill are teachings that are not exclusive to the redpill. Things like working out, keeping in shape, developing your confidence, improving your speaking voice, body language, etc. have been promoted by self help experts for DECADES before the "red pill" became a thing. Toxicity is what makes the red pill unique, what makes it stand apart from other self help circles. Without the toxicity, the redpill wouldn't be called the redpill. It would be called "self help."
