I missed mentioning previously that it appears that the talent/film agency he was contracted also appeared to actively work against his interests. Any industry that drives one of its most talent people to suicide definitely needs to take a good hard look at itself. But partly I THINK it was because he tried to pick interesting projects rather than just just go with the most popular Indian directors. This may have been interpreted as arrogance and turned these powerful directors (some of whom are also major producers or have connections with them) against him.
