If a guys is physically unattractive to me then there’s no amount of money that can ‘’create’’ an attraction. I don’t need extreme wealth, I want someone who is similar in attractiveness and wealth to me.

There are nice guys who are attractive and there are nice guys who are not. Which would you date?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/25 05:43 AM

speaking of comprehension, can you cite where I said I wanted that? thanks!

Why generalize? Isn't the keyword here choice vs. preference? The counterpoint to every one of your statements exists, even if it is not the majority of women/men Fairness is important, I don't think we should be hypocritical. - There are plenty of women I know who do have "househusbands". It works for them. Historically, men have not opted in to domestic life because domestic labor was severely undervalued by society in a way that working for a paycheck has not. - Abortions being universally le…

Completely agree. Glad we were able to find some common ground! Doesn't always happen on here.

Because we all know how it would end. Children aren't bargaining chips to prove a point.

Gotcha. Yeah, I think spaces for the gender to better themselves without the "influence" have both positives and negatives. It's the reason why we have secondary school that are girls only/boys only - having same gender role models and a space to mature without constantly seeing yourself as something to "serve" the other gender can do wonders for healthy and secure development. I could say the same for women - these days you can walk into a (traditionally women) dominated pilates studio and it c…

competition for sex....from people who have to leave the country to get sex? lol

You had me until you mentioned nerd cultures and music scenes. What exactly are you advocating for? Can you expand on your second to last paragraph? Where is the line between public and private choices? I'm not sure if you're just arguing it's difficult to be voluntarily celibate in this day and age or arguing it's inherently negative that women are now in the military or participate in male dominated spaces? To both ends, what's stopping men from creating their own men only groups in spaces pri…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/25 09:03 PM

Completely sums up my thoughts also. It's an indirect need. It's not like food, water, sleep, or shelter. There are priests and nuns and plenty of voluntarily celibate people who have lived long fulfilling lives without sex lmao. If it was a need, wouldn't these people....not exist? Sex is only brought up by people like this when framing it as "unfair" that men don't get unfettered "access to sex" and "access to women" because they "deserve sex" no matter what, just for being a man and existing …

I'm really curious about your sources - can you link some?

Oh for sure. I think a lot of the examples given in this thread are really gross and racialized

What kind of loser do you have to also be as a man to go to another country to have sex. It’s gross no matter who you are

There’s a difference between being concerned about actions exploiting concerning groups (for example minors) than caring about the men in this situation

Passport bros = sex tourism Are you intentionally ignoring the fact that many passport bros expressly travel to test age boundaries and be with minors? 50 year old men sleeping with 13/14/15 year olds… Exploiting is inherently a negative word. It makes 0 difference to me if I or other women wouldn’t date them (let’s be real, it’s not really a huge loss to the western world…there’s probably something contributing to the fact you have to fly halfway across the world to economically incentivize som…

Characters are fair game as long as they are not underage and sexualization isn't limited to just women. See: Marvel Rivals. The men who would not take no or 'not interested' as an answer ruined this for everyone This is the same as #1 just with real women I agree - grown women should not be infantilized. Age gaps are a sliding scale of creepiness. An 18 year old and 60 is capital C creepy. An 18 and 20 year old is fine. This applies to women also Don't lots of feminists argue sex work is empowe…

Seriously! The government funding ask is so bizarre
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 06:21 PM

Is this satire? In the US, they just slashed healthcare and low income benefits. And you're arguing the government (a.k.a citizen taxpayers) should be funding chatbots....for lonely men? A few questions I'm curious about: - Why do the chatbots have to only be for men? Why is AI company a "necessity" (lol) for lonely men anymore than other lonely people? - Why can't they pay for their own chatbots? - Why should funding go to AI and not time with actual mental health clinicians? I am pro-mental he…

I think men and women both have privileges, just different kinds. It's well documented that men struggle immensely with normalizing mental health in a way that as a woman I don't think I'll ever understand On the other hand, women are often stereotyped as being excessively emotional, even hysterical, so I think many issues are two sides of the same coin

Sure, we agree on the kits. The original comment just said most are not processed or tested and was likely implying that such a broad mandatory paternity test would be difficult to implement or bizarre in prioritizing above actual crimes - it never claimed rape kits directly prevent rape. As a process of evidence collection, their efficient collection and processing could serve as a deterrent, but it sounds like the downsides you were referring to is purely related to it being a justified cost A…

Why would you stay in a marriage (regardless of gender) where your partner thinks you’re a cheater to the point that you need a DNA test? lol

Can you clarify what you mean by only the man’s vows are enforced if he cheats? Are you saying there are separate adultery laws depending on if you’re the wife or husband?

Why does the guy have to pay to support her? Why is it half? Plenty of states, including mine, have the higher earning spouse pay spousal support. In this day and age that could very well be the wife!

How is there NOT an imbalance? If they wanted to stalk or intimidate you, they would have many more options compared to the average civilian.
