He does want me to be there at asu with him but ultimately he wants me to go to "a college worthy of me" because he knows I can do better than asu

I think that's why asu makes sense for me because it's cheaper than a UC

This is a valid point. I'm pretty sure he doesn't do this, he's very loyal. But you're right. You never know for absolute sure. My dad cheated on my mom for 3 years and none of us had a clue because he never said a peep.

Also, I'm pretty sure they would view me as the black sheep of the family if I went to a CC for 2 years. They would rather pay for the prestige of an Ivy, so this is why it'd be hard to convince them yes on ASU.

My parents will pay for all of my college, including graduate school (MD or MBA) if I want. But I'm only pursuing a bachelors in business economics because you don't need an MBA to work in Silicon Valley. And yes that is a salient point about an economically viable degree. I only considered STEM or business as a major because I know it is vey hard to find jobs as a liberal arts major.

some of my friends know my milkthi username so it wasn't completely anonymous and this worried me but now it doesn't matter. Yes we are one and the same:)

This is a great idea! I can't believe I hadn't thought of this. My dad flies so much for business that I get free flights on both Southwest and JetBlue whenever I want. Ideally I want to see him more often but my parents will probably be more open to this than to me going to asu for 2 years

Thank you for all of your advice! I just want to make clear that if I do go to ASU, it would only be for my freshman and sophomore year. After that I would transfer to berkeley ideally. So I would have the credentials of berkeley haas which is the 2nd best business school in the world after UPenn.

Allow me to commiserate. I have the exact same problem as you. My body is good and I always get comments on it from other people. But my face, my face is "cute" at best and it's my weakest feature. In a way, this is a mixed blessing because it forces me to focus on my body even more. But there have been days when I consider plastic surgery. However, I could not live with myself if I lost my uniqueness, all the quirks that make my face me. It's hard to get to this point, and I certainly have bad …

Asian women are obsessive about keeping their skin looking young. I have never once seen my friends' mom without sunglasses, worn inside her car which also has a uv blocker screen. If I had to pick her out of a crowd, I probably wouldn't recognize her. Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen. I can't believe I waited until I was 15 to start wearing sunscreen. Start as soon as you can.

Doesn't matter if it's boys or men. Males love when you cook. I've been experimenting more in the kitchen lately and my popularity has soared. I also read somewhere that cooking and giving away food is one of the nicest things you can do for people because everyone needs sustenance-you're insuring their survival by giving them food. I thought this was an interesting but overlooked evolutionary mechanism.

Paleo is very hard at the beginning. Mark's Daily Apple recommends and 80/20% adherence ratio but I can only commit by going 100% or very near 100%. The BEST thing about paleo is how it eliminates most, if not all, unhealthy food choices. When I go fully paleo, it lets me lose weight super easily and very fast, as someone who finds it very hard to lose weight as I'm only 103 to begin with. Give it another go!

Tell your SO straight up what happened and let him know that if your friend doesn't accept him, she doesn't accept either of you. Sure, you'll lose your friend, but who's more essential to your happiness, your 'friend' or your SO?

I prefer the lean but strong look rather than bulky muscles. Think Brad Pitt rather than The Rock. Rusty Moore has a great program designed to lean muscle down and I'm doing it myself-Visual Impact. As for tattoos, guys can get away with more ink than girls can. Nevertheless, choose wisely.

I agree. I read that Jackie Kennedy would listen to anyone she was with and make them feel like they were saying the most important things in the world. This is such a good feeling to have, so I try to make whoever I'm talking to feel that way too. Also, I find that I learn a lot more from listening than talking. Give a person enough time to talk, and invariable he will reveal his true essence. (INTJ here too!)

INTJs are the type of women least likely to want children. Together, ENTJs and INTJs make up less than 2% of women. But there is an inordinately high number here. I'm in good company:)

I'm so happy for you! It's amazing how a new wardrobe causes such a huge change in mindset. Once I started wearing skirts, dresses, and nice shoes, I felt so much more feminine and I could sense more male attention as well. Congrats!

Without the veggies to move things along you'll need to eat fatty meats. The fat on the meat lubricates things and makes bowel processes a lot easier. I would go with lots of protein and light on the carbs since those cause inflammation. Sushi and Greek lamb come to mind. Both are delicious!

I'm 16, and RPW has convinced me to eschew med school in favor of nurturing my future kids and keeping a family together. I now know that women who are their feminine selves are much happier. I am so much happier being a lady than one of the boys. I've also learned that people are incredibly impressed and affectionate towards me when I cook them food. Boys are especially wowed. I look forward to honing this skill. Perhaps I should go to culinary school instead:)

I feel beautiful on the inside, so I why should I not do whatever I can to be beautiful on the outside? That's the way I see it. I'm willing to spend a little past reason.

That's tough. I'm sorry you're in that position. Personally I expect little to nothing for holidays, but my mom sends out cards for all holidays and birthdays to both her parents and parents in law. She's a genuinely thoughtful person, and she rationalizes they don't have much longer to live anyway, so she tries to show them they're remembered.

Class and elegance. Hmm. Currently I think that dressing elegantly puts me in the mindset to act elegantly. The fictional Joan Harris also embodies class and sex appeal to me. So I watch what she does-in every motion she does, she is a lady. That's what I'm doing now.

That they do. You can replace them with all the "learned" traits above. Class, elegance, and the art of cooking are valuable attributes which must be learned by most women. Younger woman typically lack the knowledge to pursue these traits. I see so many of my peers squander their youth, preferring to use their youth and youth alone to entice men. They forget it has a rapidly approaching expiration date. Youth is best spent enjoyed, with a significant chunk of time devoted to cultivating these ad…

Seeing women act manly on purpose was a big turn off for me. A man doesn't want to be with another man! (Unless you swing that way, which I'm totally cool with. California- no judgement. But you're probably not on this subreddit). I searched for "how to be more feminine" and gradually got here!

Paleo all the way! I'm worried men won't like my paleo cooking in favor of "soul food." Good to know there's some paleo men out there.

Many Asian women do not take their husband's last name- my mom didn't. This is usually a "back up" plan if they are the slightest bit unsure or if things don't work out. To me, the saying "nothing is as great as the love that lets us share our last name" speaks volumes. It is the ultimate sign of commitment. I do plan on changing my last name.

Yes. I'm working on my SMV and femininity right now. Also on learning how to cook Vietnamese food. Grandmas are a good resource for that.
