Movies tv and music don't give any false sense of achievement though. Online games also gives people a sense if competition. These two aspects make video games much more "addictive" than most time wasting activities.

Reminds me of the castrati. Women weren't allowed to sing, so to make males sing in a high pitched voice prepubescent boys were castrated. Most never were good enough at singing to make a career out of it.

Actually women are more likely to get into accidents, but just minor things like backing into a car. While men are less likely to be involved in crash, When it does happen they are more likely to total the car and do much more damage.
