You’re either lost or new to FDS. Also, I really hate this idea that everyone in the world needs to cater to the 0.01% of the population that fits some obscure criteria, like making poly work.

I’m not forcing a man to do anything, least of all wait on me. I have a high drive and make myself put off sex to be sure I’m with the kind of man who will be worth my time. If he throws a fit about this after all of two weeks of knowing him, I have received my answer with great ease. They make everything about themselves, part infinity.

I don’t want to force anyone to do anything they don’t want to do. Instead, I want to move on quickly when I see something I don’t like, and a resentful man who doesn’t want to (or can’t) provide is handing me good information immediately. I agree with the sentiment that men should pay in full for the first several dates with some flexibility thereafter (I don’t fault any woman who prefers to split after a while or who expects paid dates always). But he should want to provide this because he see…

Good find, OP. I believe this massive inequality is the reason for patriarchy in the first place. There’s an inherent value in femaleness. I would even say that the very best of men are still below that inherent value because of the female ability to create new life. Obviously not everyone wants kids, but that doesn’t erase the biological facts of what it means to be male or female. The subjugation of women is about (artificially) lowering that female value so that most men have a shot at sex an…

This was my take as well. I’m not sure why anyone would have a sexually graphic conversation within the first five dates and be surprised when they’re accused of playing games. I never side with guys in these types of disputes, and here I am seeing his perspective as fairly valid. OP revved him up and was shocked to find he wanted to experiment that same night. With cultural expectations being what they are, I can understand how he sees this as teasing. Best not to set that up IMO, for safety an…

I dated a guy who was really weird about me wearing revealing clothing, even in 95+ degree summer heat. He’d say things like “you look like a sl*t” and at the time, pickme-me was all, “really? It’s just a normal outfit…” 🤡 Anyway, I think he’s just embarrassed by her in general for whatever reason. Hope she blocked/deleted from the Uber.

They did a lot of horrible shit to her in the name of her “safety”/their profits. I agree - if she wants to never perform again and have a couple babies with her new man, more power to her.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/04/22 11:13 PM

Right? That was one of the reasons she was fighting the conservatorship. She wanted reproductive control over her own body, which is kind of the bare minimum of legal rights. The broken heart/“nah sis” seems more about her deciding to have a baby even though she has mental health issues. There is no discussion of the fiancé/whatever he is here or really in the article. Mental health is a serious topic but I don’t think FDS is the appropriate place for this commentary on a celebrity.

The app deletion talk should happen around the time of the exclusivity talk and both of those should happen before sex. I don’t think there’s a hard and fast rule for when that should be. Personally, I’d be a little put off by a guy wanting exclusivity and for both of us to delete by the first three dates. Also, I would not stick around past maybe two months if the guy doesn’t bring up exclusivity. They know way before then if they see you as an option or as a girlfriend. Never be an option.

That’s your sign to walk. I used to give lots of chances but no more. It’s now a 3-strikes rule for me. If I told him 3 times what I like and he makes no effort, he’s not going to start with some magical ultimatum. That said, I will absolutely talk with a new partner about likes and dislikes, especially as the sexual part of the relationship is starting out. There is space for communication there. There’s absolutely such a thing as taking too long when his technique sucks much harder than he does. Jus sayin. Normalize telling men what you like, how you like it, and taking action based on their reaction. If he says “thanks for letting me know what you like, how about I show you I’m a good listener,” then we have a winner. If he says “well, my ex liked it that way/that’s a lot of work/I don’t enjoy foreplay,” then we accept the answer and move on.

I don’t understand this mentality. I’ve been in longer term relationships but not over 5 years, I’m in my 30s, and I’m never-married, so maybe there’s something I’m missing contextually. But if you’re this miserable, why stay? We only have his side but imagine hers. Does she think this life they’re living is as good as it gets, that she could do no better either by dating or living for herself? I imagine she wakes up every day with body pain from the depth of her resentment toward him. He’s terr…

Sing it from the rooftops. He’s not oblivious at all! He got what he wanted - sex and a bed all to himself with a morning on his terms. He knows exactly what he’s doing and is only confused that she didn’t go along the script, centering his needs over her own. This is what casual relationships look like. Perpetual disappointment for women dealing with “confused” men who forget they’re not the center of the universe. Sounds like a blast, right? 😒

Within your culture, you may have to deal with regressive attitudes and outside your culture, you may have fetishization. I can’t say which would be preferable but I can say, as an American, knowing how to predict the guy I’m dating is beneficial to me. I can understand how he thinks and I have something in common with his formative experiences. There are many problems with American guys. Most posts on FDS are about American/western men in general, with their laziness, their degeneracy, their po…

My thoughts: “Downvoted for ‘you can’t be fucking serious.’ Wait, I’m on FDS.” Anyway, for some of these degenerates, any standard is too high. Must have a pulse? I think you did great. You didn’t put up with his disrespect and the moment he made himself clear, you took him at face value (the way they always tell us we should) and left. Yeah, maybe it would be better to drop him the first time he showed he didn’t value your needs, especially after you made the request, which I don’t see as completely outside of FDS standards. Still, you didn’t allow him to talk you back into an unsatisfactory situationship. You get a solid A+ from me.

Maybe this provided her with some entertainment but personally, I would have been crying my eyes out at the mention of my late husband being a “lucky man.” 🤮 Read the goddamn room. I edited my comment to note that women should be careful sleeping with a guy. I haven’t waited for marriage and I’m not sure it’s a good idea in the modern world to go with that strategy, but I do think women should carefully consider their needs, goals, desires and the status of the relationship before getting sexually involved with a man. If that has the effect of much longer courtships and people waiting for real commitment/marriage, maybe that’s not so bad.

What a fucking jerk. I read most of that word salad and I still have no idea what his point was. Does he want a relationship? He certainly doesn’t act like it and prefers to waste everyone’s time, his included, while he navel gazes. Big takeaway: women should withhold emotional investment (EDIT - also be very careful before sleeping with a guy) until a man makes it abundantly clear that he has feelings and wants to pursue things further. If he’s just going with the flow, he’s not that into you a…

This is a woman who can’t define what a woman is and lets p*dophiles off with light sentences. She’s an ideologue. She’s no ally to women’s or children’s rights and safety. Edit - you can downvote all you want. This judge wouldn’t have a problem defining “fire hydrant” and “no parking zone” in a case or to the senate. I really liked Esther Perel’s content especially when she broke it all down in a very digestible way for Lewis Howes. One of my friends LOVES Mathew Hussey and recommended Evan Marc Katz. I haven’t really looked into Matthew. What makes him so LV? You’re limited to investments in your employer’s plan. You might have a decent variety of choices, but they’re typically mutual funds or ETFs, and it’s usually certain asset classes since your employer/the custodian has a fiduciary duty to offer “responsible” investments. With an IRA, you can do individual stocks and bonds, private funds, real estate, hard assets, and sometimes options, all in addition to the usual low-fee funds. For most people that won’t matter; mutual funds and index ETFs are…

Really fascinating that she goes out of her way to say she’s not anti-porn after detailing gang rape (!!!), drug abuse, botoxing her b-hole just to avoid incontinence, and how she feels part of her soul died, and that she may never find her way back. Love it. Every day we vet and they have to earn their green flags. One of my favorite takeaways from FDS has been to watch and listen closely to how a man talks about other women in front of you. All women, even the most blind pickmes, can agree that your man drooling over or complimenting another woman right in front of you is messed up, but many will look the other way when a man insults women. His meanness can and will be used against you. It’s a matter of time. I just broke things off with a…

Oh wow, we rarely get the truth from SWers on how they feel about their clientele! Usually they have a kind of detached tone, like they’re more focused on the work/acting aspect of it. They see their patrons are demented, depraved paypigs. A couple years ago, I gave up a great living situation for a crappy boyfriend. We moved in together and split bills but were not married. Spoiler - the relationship didn’t work out and I’m priced out of my old hometown, so now I’m renting a little apartment in a city I don’t care for. Unless very specific criteria are met, one of which ought to be marriage, you should not move for a man. Is he really high value if he lets himself go physically? Hair loss and the body changes that come with age is one thing, a beer belly, bad posture and poor hygiene are another. Exactly how ruthless you want to be is really up to you. It’s been my experience that guys are who they are. This has been the hardest relationship pill for me to swallow. I heard somewhere that women are the gatekeepers of sex but men are the gatekeepers of relationships. They choose the pace and they choose the style of the relationship. Our only choices are to accept what they offer or to walk away; don’t bother trying to argue or convince them otherwise. Just leave when you know you aren’t getting what you want.

I read most of your post (it’s long and I’m multi-tasking) and my interpretation was that you were looking for the clap back. You want these guys to see how it feels and you want to put them on their back foot, which to many of us is not worth the energy. I was joking around with the guys to get them and everyone in the circle laughing before I withdrew myself from their presence. I don’t really see the point in “combatting” negging or engaging with it at all. If a guy makes a comment you don’t like, or is clearly doing it for strategic reasons, a happy “K!” does wonders. Story time: I went out with some friends this past weekend and two guys approached me. Both used some classic negs about my height (nearly 6’/180 cm) and athleticism (I have a wiry look from pro dancing). Here’s a hard pill to swallow: you won’t ever out-argue your lover. Men get more and more resentful and argumentative as these little disagreements spark and spiral, especially when you’re right. What you’re dealing with here is basic incompatibility. I have a good friend who’s in a relationship like this. She’s late-30s, he’s probably early 50s and they’ve been together something like 15 years with 12ish years of marriage. Basically her job in the marriage is to look hot and always be in his corner since he has a lot of family drama. You know what? It works for them. Like, completely. Agree on your last point - no one is under any obligation to date anyone else. Your dealbreakers can be as specific as you want. I don’t think anyone, man or woman, should be given a dating chance while they’re working on their major issues. I only take issue with the idea that someone with certain things in their past can’t change or be high value. The original question is about a specific sex act. Basically you’re asking if it’s possible to be a high value person with poor past behavior. I think so; I think criminals can reform themselves, drug addicts can get clean, porn addicts can repair their psyche, pickmes can develop boundaries, and kinkmeishas can grow some self-respect. If, however, you’re not comfortable with his past, whether that’s having been community dick, a porn or heroin junkie, or having engaged in sex acts that gross you out, then he’ll never be high value to you. Funny, how even when she did the right thing according to RP (capitalize on her beauty, marry while young, find an older man with a stable future, remain faithful) she still got screwed and they blame her :/ Wow, you fucking nailed it with that. This line alone is handbook-worthy. The moral of the story is that we must play for keeps and always look out for ourselves first. A man is not a plan. Lilith was hilarious on the podcast regarding this very subject. If you haven’t listened, I highly recommend it. I see it as similar to an age gap relationship. Women from his culture (or his own age group) would see through his bullshit immediately and pay no attention to him. Women from other backgrounds (or much younger) tend to excuse it all away. I’m white and I’ve been treated as a “prize” by some men from other backgrounds. I could tell it was either a fetish or a status thing, aka, it wa…

My takeaway was that the pop star was actually a man in disguise trying to get young women to engage in self-destructive behavior because he and men as a sex class would benefit from this. The comedy was basically “This isn’t actually happening… but if it were real, would anything be different?”

I know two couples. One got together as college freshmen. She definitely wanted to get married much sooner than they did, and they finally tied the knot after something like 12 or 13 years. Over drinks one night she revealed how she got him to propose. He always wanted to do anal, and she was against it unless he put a ring on it. Finally he did and now she’s stuck doing anal with him like once or twice a month, but, uhhhh… at least they both got their way?? 🤢😱🤡 Other couple is a lot older, like…

Lots of thoughts. So, the discussion was kicked off by an advertisement, and that should be our first red flag. Many corporations, notably Adidas and Dove, have used positive messaging around the female body to sell a product. It’s like a sugar coating on a poison pill. The sugary taste and shiny exterior are “you’re beautiful regardless of age/size/color and deserving of supportive/fitting clothes” but the inside is women’s naked bodies being used to further a corporate bottom line. These compa…

It’s the same as dating a man with any other unresolved issues or trauma: they find ways to numb themselves, put the blame on anyone else (sometimes while getting very defensive of their family), and continue to deny their issues. I don’t deny that intergenerational troubles exist, but I do think a lot of folks use them as an excuse for current bad behavior. As for how it all affects a partner, there’s not much difference between intergenerational trauma and a personality disorder. You still end…

Men hate it when women pursue them or make the first move. It sets up a biologically-reversed pursuer-distancer dynamic that leaves them feeling like they have a loser woman all over them, even if she’s an absolute catch. All I hear is “I want sex and attention but I’m lazy and insecure. Time to lay that at the feet of women. Time to do literally anything except self improvement.” 🤡 is right. I also have a LVM acquaintance who’s my little male open book. In his (kind of, but not really) defense, he does a habit of picking girls who have a serious flaw, like one enjoys stirring up drama, another who sleeps around with a lot of people in a short timeframe within the friend group, or, most recently, has a raging cocaine habit. He claims to not see this right away but I don’t know how you miss it. He still validates everything on FDS and is really funny about it so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think I wasn’t clear on condemning his behavior. His actions say he’s a predator. He found a woman with wounded self-worth and jumped through some hoops to get what he wanted. If she ended the night without sex, and he saw that he’d need to build a real emotional bond and prove himself to her as a worthy man, he’d probably bounce. She would feel bad, as anyone would, but not like a walking receptacle. It’s not about proving behavior, at least not on the women’s side, but we can only control ou…

Watch their faces when they talk about women over 30. Chris especially starts to get a smug smile on his face, as though to say “Everything women believe is a lie and I’m excited to rub their faces in it.” Part of that is they want to say 30+ men are high value by default and 20ish women should be pairing with them. I think this legislation and the accompanying social policies only serve to commodify women. I know quite a few lib-fems who went into sex work via stripping (etc.), Only Fans, and even porn. She is absolutely ridiculous for wanting money that will go into the “same” bank account. Good lord. Why do we do this to ourselves. In case I’m being unclear, she needs new everything asap. A new bank account, a new place to live, a new job that isn’t indentured servitude to an entitled jerk, and after she’s done a little soul-searching to answer why she allowed this for years, she can consider a new man. Once again, they tell on themselves. It’s clear that bringing up Nancy’s past is not a badge of honor, just as it’s clear the husband in the post thinks very little of his wife, even while “complimenting” her bedroom behavior. Marriage is a good idea for most women. There are a lot of legal protections that come into play and if you have kids, plus take time off work to care for them, those protections become very important. There are women who frequent FDS for political reasons vs seeking dating strategies. I love and agree with a lot feminist politics, but some of it seeks to deny sex, and all the fun in courtship, altogether. The only way to desexualize women completely would be for women to cover up and stay away from any activity that could be considered sexual. Problem is, there are counties that do that, and they have a lot more violence against women and women have a lot less agency. That’s why I think there…

I’m a pole dancer and instructor as a side hustle. I don’t see the harm in enjoying alternative fitness, which is what modern pole, aerial and burlesque classes are. Pole dance is usually done in a bikini style costume because we use our skin to grip. Aerialists need form fitting clothes so the fabric doesn’t get bunched or tangled. Burlesque is essentially stripping with rhythmic dance. None of these activities need to be sexualized to be enjoyed; some pole dance looks a lot like ballet with a …

It’s both. The podcast from last week with the Jezebel article talked about this. Men, even good men, benefit on a societal level from male violence, so we can’t expect men to act against their interests in women’s favor. Women have to look out for ourselves which means being cautious and altering behavior to avoid danger. It sucks. It isn’t fair. Denying that reality does not help women. And yeah, men should also stop acting like animals.

Tradcons and lib fems are two sides of the same coin: women exist to further men’s needs. The point is to take care of our own interests first, as women and human beings with agency in our own right. Lib fems support women being financially independent, but only to the degree that we serve as cogs in the corporate liberal machine. This is really more evidence of two FDS maxims: If he wanted to, he would, and; Men will sit comfortably and indefinitely in convenient relationships with women they don’t love, possibly even don’t like. Also, don’t be a forever girlfriend.

Oh, it’s in the comments. They’re not included in the screenshots at all and the post isn’t linked (which is fantastic, don’t do it lol). The screenshots you have here end in her saying she was satisfied with the answers.

It says she was “happy with what she got.” Is there another update after that? It looks like she was fine with the whole shitshow, which is next-level self loathing.

Yep, same impression of him for me. I had no idea they’re 50-50, what a fucking ass! The much younger gf, the cheapskate ways, the leery stares that he tries to hide, the 50-50 despite being a multi fucking millionaire - all scream lvm. Any guy who spends that much time in front of a screen is going to have weird habits and porn is always one of them. Some of his financial advice is genuinely very good (other than him being very late to the crypto game because he doesn’t get it) and he has a poi…

I saw her live a few years ago (I had no idea who she was and didn’t pay for the tickets!) and it was a 90 minute speed-talking monologue about her acting and being treated like garbage. There was absolutely nothing funny about it, not even in an ironic sense, and I don’t get the hype or popularity around her at all. I left that show feeling really sad for her.

Men know. This is why FDS is not too harsh or wrong. Men are fully aware of other men’s tricks, games, lies and mental gymnastics. Funny enough, if it’s to dunk on a pickme like this girl on Twitter, they’ll call it out with no problem. Contrast with all the “jUsT COmmUniCAte” advice subs (unless the female OP gets salty, then they’ll state the truth).

I stopped reading at the mention of exes. No man you’re dating should be in contact with any ex for any reason other than logistics (they lived together and have to settle a bill; there’s some kind of paperwork related to the divorce; there’s a kid involved). Casual contact and “just talking” should be a nonstarter. That goes for you as well, by the way. Do you think a high value man with good boundaries and self respect would say “I guess in this one specific case, despite all evidence to the c…

Fuck pickmes. Seriously. This is where the “mean” side of FDS is a boon. If you stay with a roid raging ape like that (and fucking defend him!) you will have no one to blame but yourself for what’s coming.

She did keep arguing with this guy! And she clearly touched a nerve when she called him out for being a married man on dating subs. That’s where it got really funny. Everyone sucks today, or maybe it’s just my PMS. At least they’re amusing in their suckiness. lol

A line I used on a female friend who was obviously being emotionally and financially abused was ”He’s treating you like a runaway slave.” We were out having brunch and walk while he was blowing up her phone, asking when she’d be back. She had basically moved in with him after a month 🚩 and hadn’t spent more than a few hours away from him, his kids or his dad in weeks 🚩. That line really cut through her defenses of him and, thank god, she dumped his worthless ass a few weeks later. She still cred…

Yes, all of this. There are often posts on here from younger women asking for advice, or “what would you tell your younger self” questions. Simple. Listen to yourself. Do not gaslight yourself. You’re not crazy; something is wrong. Part 2 of that advice is, of course, there is something better out there for you. If that means being along and working on yourself, it is absolutely 10000x better than being in a terrible relationship. This poor woman died. She could have a) listened to herself and b…

She should feel insecure because she is doing something very wrong here - she’s staying with him and giving him “a chance.” What is possibly redeeming about this relationship!? Girl. He’s already in a relationship and it’s not with you.

You are correct. These are low-effort date options from low value men who are perfectly capable of stepping up but choose not to. And only give out your snap if you’d like to be flooded with dick pics and/or 2am “wyd” selfies aimed up their nose or down their happy trail. Usually these guys have some giveaways in their profile, like extra stupid photos and one or two word responses to hinge prompts, so be careful matching in the first place. I wouldn’t proceed at all. I unmatch and block aggress…

It’s all cope. If you, generic young woman, put up with a man’s shitty behavior for just the right amount or time, he’ll turn loving and honorable. It’s just a tiny little bit more nonsense and we swear it will happen! Lots of women think like this and it’s not just Disney. It’s most romance and a fair amount of women’s advice and literature, especially from the right. Indefinitely tolerating trash treatment is the basis for most pickme BS.

Generally my best experiences with men have been conservative-leaning moderates. They understand being a provider, they understand sex differences without being a patronizing douche, they generally take care of themselves physically and emotionally, and they usually avoid 50-50 and redpill nonsense. Liberals and left-leaning moderates always pushed for 50-50, were openly porn positive and addicted, usually had some kind of mental health problem that they were too “manly” to address, had no ambit…

Sounds like codependency actually. Codependent men like to play fast and loose with the truth to keep the peace, have weak boundaries, and change up their preferences to make people like them. I dated a guy like this years ago. He was younger than me and not divorced or anything, and AFAIK he wasn’t a porn addict. He told me he ready to go ring shopping and I came back with something like “I don’t even know who you are!” He was the type who’d change his drink order if he thought I was getting so…

I’ve known a few conventionally attractive men going for “ENM.” They all have something else wrong with them that would disqualify them from a relationship with anyone medium to high value - raging narcissism, addiction, attachment issues, they’re with a pickme that they don’t respect at all. The poly types who are also into BDSM, on the other hand, are universally hideous. I think it’s because they like bullying people they see as weaker/lower status than them, and they know in normal life they…

For any of your examples, like sleeping with a guy “too early” or using L’Oréal products, you can stick “self” in there and it makes perfect sense. Self care rocks, though L’Oréal is debatable. Sleeping with a guy too early in a relationship can definitely impact your self worth and can interrupt the vetting process. If he has what he wants quickly, he can step on out of high value mode and turn into a low value scrote, something he would have done anyway, now with you left to pick up the pieces…

There was a whole other level to this with the Twi-moms. Do you remember the 35+ women who were obsessed with the series and ended up being the base for the “50 Shades” craze? It was deeper than just the books and movies. Imagine your mom, aunts, and their friends having an actual heated debate on Jacob vs Edward, saying that these were legitimately the epitome of male love. Pickme clowns 🤡 Personally I missed the Twilight boat. I was too old to be impressed with it and too young for the Twi-mom…

I’m libertarian, which I guess in reddit terms is right wing, even if I don’t consider myself as such. There is great value in listening to people from another political persuasion. I never would have learned about radical feminism, porn addiction, or the dangers of hormonal birth control if I had dismissed the perspectives as left vs right. Pushing women away from FDS because of their politics or only entertaining “progressivism” (which feels very regressive these days) will not help the cause.

I feel like we need more context. In my experience, the person starting a tit-for-tat looks more like a punkass fool than the person they interrupted to stir the pot. For a colleague, I usually go with: “Perhaps you and I should schedule a separate meeting to hash this out so we don’t spend everyone’s time on this one issue.” If you’re talking about your boss or a client, they (unfortunately) get time decide the direction of the meeting and everyone in it will feel equally annoyed. So there’s th…

Two things, really. First, you don’t roll in shit with pigs; the pigs like it and you get dirty, which is to say, don’t engage with them. Know that they’re trying to get a rise out of you so don’t reward them with energy. Be a gray rock with a cold stare and they won’t find you fun to antagonize. If they continue anyway: “That’s not very professional/polite/whatever/That’s gross.” Cold stare, cringe, move on. Second, if you’re truly offended and/or they won’t back down from their denial strategy…

At least China is honest: citizens are tax cattle. The only reason the west doesn’t hear more of this is that we encourage and allow immigration, while the CCP does not. I’m a little surprised they aren’t forcing women to make babies, though who knows, after an official policy of forcible abortion, forcible pregnancy isn’t far-fetched.

Male fantasy. Possibly a woman seeking morons in her DMs by playing up a male fantasy. I’ve known a few women in the stripping/sex industry and I’ve never heard of them sending a woman to a party without a bodyguard. It’s a massive liability and insanely unsafe. Even sleazier clubs usually have a guard just to watch the strippers come and go from their cars since patrons are known to hang out near the back exit of the club. That’s the part that jumped out at me as male fantasy, that this girl wo…

I lurk there all the time and there's almost no "working on yourself" it's very much that you're perfect how you are, you're the prize, yasss qween. This simply isn't true. Many posts discuss what it was like being in a bad/unsatisfying relationship and most of the women posting own up to the fact that they put up with it... but will not (or are trying not to, lol) anymore. Or, they are stating that they are unhappy and plan to move on, sometimes listing the reasons. Those reasons are often vali…

A lot of what FDS preaches is that women shouldn’t put up with low effort/low value men and should work on themselves primarily. In practice, what this means is a man should be expected to take care of his home, take care of himself physically and mentally, support his partner, and be fully honest with his intentions. A guy who expects praise for taking out the trash most days or sometimes unloading the dishwasher is showing low value behavior, especially when the partner consistently cooks and …

Totally got emotional over this meme. This was me with my ex. Haha, wow... just really hit today. It’s been about two and half months since I ended it and two weeks since I moved out. I haven’t cried since well before I moved out. My friends told me how pale and sad I looked, how my eyes became sunken in, how much weight I was losing. I’m happy the chapter is closed. It’s amazing how much physical change emotional pain can cause.

I can’t tell if you’re serious. Are you insulted by the word “male”? I’m talking about friends who are male and would have said “female friends” if talking about my female friends. Red flags in women can be similar to what you seen in men. I see them as clear signs of incompatibility, probably even as a friend. Immediately clingy, makes assumptions about the relationship, substance abuse, insulting or “shit test” behaviors, hot/cold behavior, starts drama, way too busy, emotionally unavailable, …

I see the same thing with my male friends who disregard a field of red flags for a girl that excites them while ignoring girls with more mellow dispositions, even though they claim that’s what they want. Even for your examples of women staying with bad partners or going to unfamiliar places alone, I’ve seen the male counterpart, and I’m sure you have as well in your friend circle. All people make bad choices. You blame sexual miscommunication on the women you’re talking to for not knowing what t…

This was a glimpse into what could have been my future. It sounds like most of the time the man withdraws from intimacy completely, preferring his addiction to his wife, family and overall life. In the majority of cases he doesn’t even try to act out the porn/fetishes, and that’s the “acting” (vs nothing at all) most couples therapists were trying for while recommending porn usage. Reality: many couples “haven’t had sex in three to four years.” What the fuck... marital abandonment it is. “Irreco…

I agree with this. There may be a general trend toward stage or set makeup but it isn’t driven by men, at least not for their pleasure. I mean, I went from a modeling gig to a big happy hour and the men there all weren’t fans of the caked-on look while the women were very interested. The set makeup trend driven by social media where everything is on camera. A lot of these young women have to one-up themselves and each other in terms of makeup looks, all for their bottom line. All of that said, t…

I went on a couple dates with a guy like this years ago. Something he said on date 2 was “I think a man should be a man and a woman should be a woman.” I asked him to elaborate. Of course he meant the woman submits in all ways to the man’s will in a traditional type of relationship.... while still “earning her keep.” So work a full time job, be a maid and mother, deal with his bdsm needs (because of course) and still get bossed around. Sounds great, sign me up. I called this out and the date end…

If you go there now, probably at least 50% of stories are from higher libido women. Sad reality: there is nothing a woman in this situation can do. The LLF situation seems like it can change for all the reasons FDS even exists in the first place (in summary, women are more willing to do the work and please their partners) but the LLM won’t/can’t change 999/1000 times. The only solutions are to accept no/terrible and infrequent sex or leave. I went through it and I left and yeah, it’s some specia…
