I mean no one was ever told what was gonna happen to them... that's kinda the whole need-to-know principle. plus id imagine they got at least "wanna go to the UK and do something secret at a secret place?" I mean that in modern terms wouldn't come close to qualifying for consent, and I get that but I do highly doubt they were forced onto a boat with rifles in their faces.

I mean I agree with the sentiment but, soldiers have always had a choice on joining these experiments, granted they didn’t know what was going to be tested on them or how and even today tho it happens rarely now don’t (I mean these where/are top secret experiments on a super top secret base) also plenty of white soldiers also joined various trials particularly nerve agent ones with one in particular having his death covered up for 40 odd years because of the national security implications(maybe …
