2	The Friendship Myth Nice read, and it definitely has some merit to it. I fear you may be looking at it too biologically and forgetting you can make a conscious effort to keep friendships if you value that person. I have a friend that I met in gifted in second grade and we became best friends when he taught me how to play chess (second grade me is probably 9000% better at chess than current me), and we've maintained that friendship still.
