Depends on the culture. For example here in the Balkans we drink a lot, male and female. Mostly on every occasion, most of the working places allow drinking while working, weddings, clubs, kafanas, while studying, and etc. When we go out we usually drink about 5 beers. I personally haven't had any problem with alcohol since it good for every social occasion, but with gaming, nah I wouldn't do it.
