I am saying that given what this article is saying is true, without historical gender roles in place, there is no reason to believe a women are more likely to wage war. It is not inherent to the nature of a woman to wage war more often, which is what has been implied by commenter above.

I would have to read the gender-neutral law for context. I believe there is some substance in the feminist groups' arguments. I don't see many feminist groups protesting against conscription for women. But with the prevalence of sexual abuse in military, I would rather not be conscripted either.

I wouldn't consider myself a feminist, although I agree with feminist values. I do not think testosterone plays as large of a role in risk evaluation as you think. There is not a large gap in risk aversion between genders. I think it is access to education, information, and resources that lead to innovations, rather than intelligence. There are many innovations by men in our past because women were not given access to education, information, and resources.

Women must learn to prioritize and make short- and long-term tradeoffs. But this takes a lot more conscious effort on their part if I understand correctly because women operate more emotional in nature whereas logic is a man's nature. This isn't true, but rather an old myth. Neurologically, there are some differences in wiring but current scientific consensus is that women are just as logical as men.
