Just have fun with the gym and you'll get there. Obviously you gotta work, but try to pick up on the attitude of guys like Arnold and Tom Platz instead of telling yourself it's torture. Once you genuinely love it, everything else come so much easier.

I'll try to track something down.. This is my leanest at 176ish, but in my twenties I carried more muscle and more fat. I was usually 210-220.

Only with a pump! Otherwise I mostly look like an athletic Peter Parker haha.

Haha thanks! It's mostly the illusion of a good pump and being quite lean, as I'm getting ready for an upcoming bodybuilding contest. I'm actually only like 177 at 5'11" in this pic. I do workout a lot though!

Hahaha, I do love my gaming, but never got into CoD. :'( And thanks! I highly recommend lifting. Once you get into it, there's few things more satisfying than progressing in the gym and with your body.

Most important advice I have is to really enjoy the process! It's not work, it's something you love. If you can't keep an empty/Zen mind, be sure to counter any negative self-talk with it's opposite. Plant positive "what if" scenarios in you mind, etc. Be proud of yourself for being a rare one and walking this path (whether that's fitness or MGTOW or whatever), and really try to cherish it. Check out some of Tom Platz's motivational stuff on youtube. His mindset toward bodybuilding, how it was a…

I just love his spirit. At first I was really turned-off by the image, but his mindset is something we could all learn from!

Thank you, friend. Shoulder width is one of the first things the eye goes to, eh? I did lots of heavier (4-6 reps) overhead pressing in my twenties. Once into my 30's, I never totally quit lifting, but my workouts got very minimal; maybe 2 days per week for 45 minutes haha. Anyway, since getting back into things in this last year of ghost-status, I've really enjoyed learning more the typical bodybuilder-style training; tons of side and rear lateral movements, partial, drop sets, etc., and not as…

Hahaha yeah, I had a good laugh adding it to the photo. I thought just barring out the eyes wasn't fun enough!

Tbh it's only in 2021 that the last of the red pill rage has finally dissolved. I was also kinda black pilled in general. Patience! If you're into lifting, Tom Platz's outlook on bodybuilding really helped me get out of a scarcity mindset. And of course Rich Piana! 🙏🏻

Thanks brother! Haha, I'm only 176 at 5'11", but with a pump it looks like I gain 10+ pounds of muscle. 😅

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
