I really need to do this. I realized you’re right, I am always in my own bubble. My bubble is big, but it’s still a bubble. I talk to people all day at work as I’m in sales. I have a really awesome group of coworkers (we’re all actually friends not just work friends, many of my coworkers being friends from high school/college). I have roommates, and I have friends. My roommates have friends. But outside of that I don’t really put myself out there much and talk to new people. And talking to new p…

Join a gym that does classes, and/or a yoga studio. I’ve met women through yoga and through group classes, plus hiking meet ups is great too. But I love fitness so I do all these activities anyway.

Soft close, then hard close works best IMO. "We should get drinks sometime soon." - Soft Close If she says yes, ask for her schedule. Once you get her schedule, pick a day that works for both of you and tell her to meet you, where and when. "Let's do margarita city at 8 on tuesday." -Hard Close EDIT: You should use this if you've already been bantering a bit, and you've clearly expressed some sexual interest. If not, then try incorporating the word date into it. Maybe when asking for her schedul…

No matter how good I feel, how confident I am in the moment, how happy I am, I can’t stop being fidgety (bounce my leg, drawing squiggles on paper, twirling a pen). Been like this my whole life, probably due to my ADHD.

Your friends are deciding what bar to go to. You say, “let’s go to X bar.” Your friends may say “yeah good call.” Or they may say “nahhh I’d rather do Y bar.” If you really wanted to go to X bar, you’d make your case “I really think we should go to X bar, they have great beers. It’ll be awesome!” That’s being dominant. Defending your position. Being decisive. Being admirable would be including the rest in the decision making, and allowing your choices to come second if the group thinks Y bar is …

My recommendation for next time you get the “I have a bf, here he comes” instead of trying to alpha him, platonically seduce him! Make him your buddy if he’s cool, not because you want to steal his girl but because they may introduce you to other people they know!

On dating apps I often get comments that “I look like so much fun.” And it’s not because I’m on yachts with champagne, but rather because I’m always hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, surfing, being outdoorsy (and my pictures reflect that). If you don’t like any of those things, I can’t help you there. But I’d recommend finding some cool hobbies you actually enjoy, get a tripod or a friend, take some pictures and post them. Use everyone’s social media addiction to your advantage. The worst that can…

Do the 5 compounds most importantly. Bench, squat, row, deadlift, overhead press. Strengthen your back equivalent to your chest. If you do heavy bench, you should also do heavy rows. Overhead press will build your shoulders. Ab workouts will help you learn to tighten your core, which along with lower back workouts will help your spine. Do stretches. Look up some neck stretches, chin tucks, etc and it will help loosen those muscles to make it more comfortable to keep your chest out and head up. D…

I have 3 from Kilian (they were a gift to my parents but they didn't want them so I got to keep them). Probably the best cologne I've ever smelled (Straight to Heaven White Christal, Pure Oud, and Back to Black) yet I haven't gotten any compliments on them which is surprising! My favorite though was always Gucci Pour Homme II.

Lol was just seeing a girl that hit 1, 2, 3, and 4. Can't stand that type of behavior.

I don’t have any pets, but every single animal/pet I ever meet insta-loves me. My friend and his gf have a cat and he gets pissed (jokingly) because his cat will ignore him and go straight for me, and will cuddle and nap on me (apparently more than him). His gf is the cats #1 though I can’t ever usurp that throne. My neighbors have a brown lab that absolutely adores me. He will stare into my window and bark for 20 minutes sometimes, even after just a quick pet. He gets upset when I leave him. I’…

6’3 here, and the truth is you’re going to have to look down at her. Keep good eye contact, she will either look back into your eyes (and not notice your posture) or she’s nervous and will break it to which you can readjust your body. Try to look down first with your eyes, then move your head down to get eye contact. If you’re sitting, lean back in your chair and tilt your head down a bit, or lean forward with your shoulders pinched back and together. As for the rest of the time, the way to keep…

A few things for physical: Your hairstyle, your clothes. Does your hairstyle fit your face shape? Do your clothes represent who you are, do they reflect your personality? Do they fit well? For personality: Do you come off as genuine? Are you less likely to state your opinion, and do you stand up for yourself? I can tell you I personally find strong-headed, driven women incredibly sexy. Do you flirt a lot, or are you more reserved? Are you a serious person, or do you like to be a goof? Do you hav…

Very true. I think in this day and age / society where everything is bought/sold and fixed by a faceless person or for a faceless person (via the internet, over the phone, ship it in to get fixed it gets shipped back) it makes that appreciation so much more important. I have no idea if what I just said makes sense but it did in my brain lol.

No, I don't walk away if she's awkward. I lose attraction if I feel like she has no interest in me/what I'm saying (which can just be awkwardness, sure). If she's not my type close up, well yeah that's just something I have trouble getting around but not an absolute deal breaker. I've dated/hooked up with white girls, black girls, asian girls, latinas, mixed, etc. Two main things make me lose attraction: one is her being either WAY too conversation heavy (as in texting)... I can't stand having t…

Good advice. I’d also like to add the quicker you ask her out, the quicker you’ll know if there’s a reason to even develop any sort of feelings of a crush. Then move on if she says no...and remember there could be 50 reasons she says no and 50 of them could have nothing to do with you/your looks.

The reason why is because the narrative and visualization is much more potent. “SHES FUCKING OTHER DUDES” hits harder than “treat her like a human not a goddess.” Yours is more noble, and in reality better but less of a shock to the brain, one that many guys need.

If you’re a girl, and you’re talking about “day game” or whatever, it’s much simpler. Go up to them and ask their name. Be open, be flirty, touch their arm a few times. If the conversation goes well, ask if they want to get a drink or coffee this weekend. Guys are much less likely to get asked out, so you will shoot to the top of their list of women to date by being bold like that. I promise, if you do this with 10 guys you find attractive, you will get 8 dates. 2 guys may be intimidated, may no…

Some guys go straight for tongue action, because guys are well...horny. Ends up being too much tongue too early, shoving it down your throat before you’ve pecked even worked up to it. You may just be kissing guys who aren’t good and/or you’re holding back. It is fun when a girl (in my case) just opens her mouth after some kissing foreplay and we get into a tongue wrestling match with little to no lip movement.

I consider myself a good kisser, so the actual make out has never been awkward. You do have to find a groove with her, and expect you both to make some mistakes. The lead up to the kiss definitely is.

Great to hear. Way too many defeatists and (I hate using this word) but incel type replies. I get they’re frustrated, but shitting on any and all advice isn’t helpful.

I’m in my late 20s, and have kept in contact with a few of my friends from high school and college even though we all live elsewhere. Many of them I mainly just send memes to in order to stay connected. One of my closest friends who I live near (we both moved to the city were in at different times) is the type of guy that will make a new, legitimately good friend every week. It’s impressive. I make a lot of new friends through him. I still have no clue how he does it.

Without a doubt. 1.5 years ago I started eating super healthy, working out (honestly too much), lost 50 lbs of fat and gained a ton of muscle. I have much, much better interactions with women I’m interested in now.

I was diagnosed with ADD 15 years ago, and I never realized this was what possibly has given me so much trouble dating. I’m quite certain I have intimacy and trust issues as well. I don’t really know if any deeper issues, I had a good childhood, grew up well, parents are together, a happy family.

I had no idea this was a disorder, and now I understand why I’m like this. Of course, I’m self-diagnosing but this article made perfect sense to me. Holy shit.

I wouldn't buy her anything yet. But if she's having a bad day, you can recommend getting some drinks or watching a movie to cheer her up.

I think something subtle, with a floral hint. I dislike when women wear the overly sweet smelling, super citrusy perfumes. Less is more.

Honestly this was really helpful. You didn’t use any wild pick up lines, you just had a conversation and it seemed to go well. I think it’s important that I need to remember that cold approaching isn’t to make her fall in love with you right then and there, but simply to introduce yourself, get her interested enough that you can then ask her out/ for her number.

I'm no guru, but this has helped me a bit. Word association. Think of a word, lets go with "tree." Say what first comes to your mind after reading tree. What was it? Say it was leaf. Next FIRST word that pops in your head. Say it was Maple leaf. Next word, say it was Canada. Cold. Snow. Snow white. Dwarves. Disney. etc. Now try and move that towards actual sentences. Tree. Leaf. Leaves falling. Fall. It's halloween. Halloween has lots of candy. I love candy. My favorite candy is twix bars. There…

I live in Orange County and I easily can see at least 60-100 a day if I'm out and about. It's ridiculous.

Or playfully joke about their investment. The worst that can happen is she takes it personally and you move on to another girl anyway.
