Ugh, I had an 60+ yo male coworker dismissively tell me how much he benched in HIGHSCHOOL. Weirdest one-up I've ever had.

I started having migraines out of nowhere, couldn't find the trigger for the life of me. Two years later they miraculously cleared up... right after I broke up with my bf. He wasn't even that bad, just fighting over dumb shit all the time. So much stress and suffering for nothing.

Was looking for this one! One guy told me a menu item looked "nummy" and was forever known by the name Nummy among my friends after that. Had another guy proclaim loudly "me so hungie" in a Chinese restaurant and I was double embarrassed, by the baby talk but also by the possible misinterpretation of racism by the staff.

He lacks the emotional intelligence to pick up on your subtle social cues. He needs you to spell it out for him with obvious "big smile" and "loud laughter" cues because deciphering human emotion is too hard for him, talking to a shy person takes too much work and/or social skills that he never learned. A pretty big red flag if you ask me.

Yes, I was constantly suspicious and jealous with my ex. Because he was constantly cheating on me or trying to. With current partner, no reason to feel suspicious.. and even when I have residual trust issues I am comfortable talking about it and having all my questions answered without hesitation or annoyance.

Well, you can choose to lose your period by quitting carbs... and lowering your body fat percentage to an unhealthy level so your body goes into crisis and ceases normal functions. Yeah I also heard about "a tribe in Africa" whose women hold their periods in with their muscles 🙄 no mention of the name of that tribe or anything

Stand up comedy is probably why I've never been interested in being married, from a young age. Now that I think about it, it's probably the root cause of pick-me /Cool Girl culture. "Fellas, look around. If your date is not laughing at this, RUN"

feelz.. feelz.. feelz.. is this guy 12? I want to add, this reads more like dating theory/PUA than a man who is married.. because you know how to find out what your wife likes in bed? YOU FUCKING ASK HER. You're married, this is not some mystery; here is a woman you can actually communicate with!

Not knowing how to cook is sad, but not having the mental fortitude to handle just staying inside their damn house, or simply to wear a mask when going outside is fucking pathetic. God forbid you be forced to spend time with yourself, or care about others' lives. When they have the opportunity to work, they want to sit and play video games and watch netflix. When you have no other option, all of a sudden it's "my rights, let me work!"

Before I met my partner, my manifestation mantra was "make me the best person for the person who is best for me". It acknowledges that high standards go both ways. If you want to attract a HVM you must be a HVW. There is no hesitation about demanding the best because you KNOW you deserve the best on paper.

Shutting down would be an ethical thing to do by choice, and the reason we generally don't support the porn industry is because they are unethical. I doubt traffickers and scammers care about the 'talent' they scammed into getting on camera.

On a recent roadtrip, bf gave me the choice between a couple of rental cars. They were both nice, but he did his research and then laid out some points for me to make the final decision: one was a smooth ride since we would be in the car for hours, but the other was a convertible so I would have a better view of the scenery. And he drove the ENTIRE time so I could just relax-- he asked if I wanted to drive, but no pressure. (I chose the convertible btw) Point is, money wasn't the point here. He …

I've always had to have my 'office' and I do whatever I want in there.. i mean it's for the best; I dont have crafts and sewing on the dining room table in anyone else's way. But yes I have a makeup vanity and clothing racks in there too! Our friends just bought a house and he knocked a door into the wall between two bedrooms so she could have a bedroom-sized walk in closet. It's fabulous.

My best friend has left her violent, cheating husband multiple times. They are separated but she has to see him because of the kids, and it's easier to sleep with him than date so she can't move on. And he's a good father. Why do we have to compromise? If he checks all the other boxes, but cheats and has a temper, it's probably the best she's going to get? He got her while she was young, too. They're very much a Beyonce/Jay Z dynamic, they even look like them.

This.. it's all down to your self worth. Find what made you think you deserve poor treatment in the first place, and fix it. Most times it's something you were told as a child, repeated messages that drilled into your subconscious that this is just the way the world works. Research "core beliefs". Mine were way fucking off and when I replaced them with the truth that I was worthy, my entire world changed.

In the not too distant past you would have been accused of being a witch and seductress for loving being a woman. Your embarrassment that you may sound a little woo-woo is another remnant of them trying to separate you from your inner connection. Embrace the woo! Before science, the subtle wisdom of intuition, herbs, body language, etc. (SO MUCH ETC.), was a woman's domain. These things are all still true. Men try to discount the subtle arts because science is where they excel, and they fear wha…

My man was laughing at me because I kept yelling at the poor wife on the TV. "Look at you! You're still crying about this even as you say you've moved past it! You're not ok! He's still making you hurt!" It breaks my heart that she tied herself to him with a kid and now she feels she has to stay, because family is so important to her. Yep, I took a chance on a fat ugly young divorcee because I was made to feel shallow by some mutual friends. Took a couple weeks before he clumsily started trying to gaslight and manipulate me, ended it but gave him another chance as a friend and he fucked that up too.. Also ditched those friends who shamed me into getting involved.

I often say that I dont regret my choices because they led me to be the person I am today, whom I love so much. But some mistakes are just too cringeworthy and those were ALL getting involved with LV people I gave the benefit of the doubt to. I did, however, learn not to give chances, and to judge books by their covers. I dont feel I am 'missing out' on anyone by protecting myself too much.

So you were mean to strangers for no reason? What's the point? And yes, I at least have known since I was ten that 1, men are stronger and tend towards violence, and 2, that they get angry(er than women) if you insult them. I learned on the playground that it was effective to suggest that someone had a small dick, or was so ugly that no one would 'do it' with them, for example. "women and girls shouldn't be afraid of some random male violence" This is why you don't come across as a real female l…

It's helpful (for me) to imagine you are being recorded or filmed, that way you don't say something you'll regret. A bit like watching yourself in a movie, it has the effect of taking you out of your head so you can control your emotions. Asking yourself "how would ___ act in this situation?" puts you in the character of an emotionally mature person. Fake it till you make it, as they say. Which is why it's so important to have mentors, good role models, and friends whom you admire. How would you…
