Umm, no? FBI changed its definition a few years ago to remove gender specific pronouns in the definition of rape. It's true that most judges are biased when it comes to rape cases, but the law is definitely not biased.

There is no question about it being wrong. Discrimination is wrong. Doesn't matter against who. If you try correcting discrimination by more discrimination then you are creating more discrimination instead of elminiting it. In other words, when will this whole discrimination cycle end? It'll be just like a bunch of kids pulling a rope and not letting go. It will be leaning to one side today, the other side tomorrow. Its never going to balance out.

I do believe that women and African Americans have a slightly better chance at gaining admission, but I also believe in hard work that pays off. So since I can't change every college's stance on this matter, I tend to try improving myself and my grades so I can gain admission. Obviously if genders were reversed everyone would be losing their shit, but being from a country that openly discriminated against my race and religion, I can be a bit tolerant when it comes to discrimination

I live in CA and I don't believe that law is actively enforced since it doesn't benefit any of the parties involved. However, it still doesn't justify a female teacher having sex with a minor student since in this case one of the parties is actually an adult, capable of making responsible decisions, while in the case of two minors none of the parties are able to do that.

It doesn't matter. US Law defines sex with a person under the age of consent as statutory rape, regardless of whether or not they have consented to it. Similar thing happened to my buddy in high school. He walked in with a shirt picturing a woman and suddenly the ART teacher goes nuts about how she can't accept such objectification in the classroom and that he can't be there unless he changes his shirt. I hope I had the knowledge back then to challenge her statements.
