The entire field of study for men's experience is still basically none existent and the study of women's experience aggressively excludes scientific findings about gener roles and environment influences on gender norms. That we still use patriarchy as the standard model is proof enough of that.

Contrarily, shit tests are real and a projection of women's insecurities and a manipulative way to make themselves feel safe without having to reveal those insecurities to their partners.

Someday, someone in academia is going to expertly quantify the monetary value of the pussy pass and successfully defend that thesis. I look forward to that day.

When you admit the extent to which it is a part of their success. There is privilege in being attractive and privelege in being a woman. If you want accepted of the disadvantages, then admit to the advantages.

Feminist and activist groups aren't going to make noise for Depp so nobody fears the reprisal for being associated with her. It's a massive difference in risk assessment when dealing with a women or a man which is a privelege nobody wants to admit exists.

She consistently uses biggly words to add emphasis to Depp's actions to make it sound...bigglier than it was and her adjectives sometimes don't make sense in the context she is describing. But they aren't always terrible either, suggesting to me she's off her game In those moments and relying on crude and unsophisticated patterns of behavior. Like a child telling you how big the truck was that they saw in the parking lot after school. Whiiich...might indicate when Heard started developing her be…

Did she....just retell the story as if she was the one in the bathroom? This is how you blend reality with lies to tell a good lie. The details can overlap and appear genuine. She hit him, the door hurt her foot, she was trying to keep him out, she just reversed the roles in the events that occurred. She also, uncomfortably and agitated, explained how she minimizes Depp's descriptions of her physical abuse because she believes it isn't that bad so he must be exaggerating. She didn't clock him be…

IIRC, her issues came from the loss of identity and distance from her normal social groups. It isn't the smoking gun of pussy passes this post seems to think it is. The book was somewhat sympathetic to men in regard to the lack of close intimate relationships within some male groups and the difficulty in dating though. She did leave with a new perspective.

It would serve better, those who can't rely on others to do it. But if they don't want to and don't have to, then they won't. This privilege is probably reinforced within that cultural group as ideal man behavior and you get posts like this OP vid. The motivations that justify the gender norms likely vary from 'ewe Gas is gross pls do for me' to 'real men should xyz, right ladies?' followed by a bunch of upvotes/likes. I see women pump thier own gas all the time but I'm not middle class or upper…

It's an issue whenever two people have really incompatible beliefs and wants, when different cultures clash. Some women really like being taken care of like that and see men who do so as ideal. Many men don't want to do that and see it as a conservative, old-timey tradition of a past age. If two people fit, then there's no issues. I think culture has moved quite a bit awkward from those kinds of gendered expectations so it becomes more rare and outdated.

Because men once did almost all the driving and handled car related tasks almost exclusively. Gas stations also once had service attendants that pumped gas for people. So even women who drove didn't have to do it most of the time. It was also messier and more risky, pumps also sucked compared to today and every gas station was independently run, so equipment may not be well maintained. A woman smelling like leaded gasoline was also something women would want to avoid for a number of reasons. Thi…

It's still a form of privilege though. It doesn't matter if women or men enforce the privilege, it's still privilege. But so is having 1000 cute dresses to choose from instead of only 5 kinds of pants all in the same bland colors.

Because most often, they can. They are either positioned as the unquestionable authority on gender relations or, when confronted, are rallied behind by the audience. They never have to make a cohesive argument or really address the criticisms that come thier way. They just have them spew the rhetoric, even disconnected from a salient point, they'll usually still be applauded. It's a telltale sign of an unthinking cult.

Or they are a normal human with at least BASIC empathy for someone getting unjustifiably, brutally assaulted. Maybe you should seek advise from a mental health profession about why you enjoy such brutality. What you think is normal, maybe isn't?

How is what he did at all acceptable? The scale of violence is completely out of proportion. I think some of you might just like seeing women getting beaten.

There is a basic, antagonistic relationship with liars and records. Liars hate records because they limit thier capacity to lie effectively. If someone gets mad because you have records, how angry they get may indicate how much of a liar they are. Trump is a classic case of a con artist hating records and documentation because it's harder for him to lie effectively.

Denying a relationship with a child is a common method many mothers use against the father. Its a means of coercion and control over him and his resources and that leverage is used to the benefit of her even in ways that have nothing to with the kid. Hard to prove too if primary custody has been granted. It isn't right of one parent to deny a relationship between a child and that parent. Not knowing who the father is shouldn't be tolerated either, you better find that dude. I'm a supported of ma…

This is an extremely overlooked part of these stories and i usually get blank stares when i point it out. I think people assume men don't really want children or they simply don't care about men.

More like: 3. "Say a man is the father of the child you're carrying so the state compells him to give you his resources to do whatever the fuck you want with."
