1	I received this petition today in my inbox. A male student's religious rights is threatening gender equality, which, apparently, is the female students rights. Me too! It doesn't even make sense that the person starting this petition wants to fight for gender equality when he/she obviously only cares about the female students rights. Their rights are not even threatened here, not that I see. It's the male student who wished to be excluded from group work to avoid interacting with female students based on his religious belief. 3	This message is disturbing but over 5k don't think so. This was posted on Women's Rights News on Facebook. Now there are over 7k "likes". I found it disturbing because it implies that men are the sole predators who put women in danger wherever they go, particularly (alone) at night. Such message along with crime shows like Criminal Minds and L&O:SVU are reinforcing this belief, which ignores the fact that men can be in danger and women can be the predator.
