Yes you could actually become more attractive as you age if you are more financially well off and have grown as a person. It doesn’t seem uncommon for men in their 40’s who keep themselves up physically and are successful to have plenty of women interested in them. That said, I don’t believe 20 year old women have any interest other than money or daddy issues in men twice their age unless the man is rich and famous. Even those women probably wish they were sleeping with someone closer to their a…

It’s heartbreaking that such a young, vibrant life was taken. It’s speculation but I believe her killer (the boyfriend) was losing control of her and killed her when he knew she was going to leave him or was already trying.

And very young women feel this way about much older men as well. They are grossed out and only date them for money/status/green cards.

Women are attracted to younger men. I’ve heard women over 40 say a guy in his 20’s is hot. It seems more women than men though realize what a nightmare actually being in a relationship with someone much younger than them would be; so generally women don’t pursue guys that are ridiculously younger.

It’s to keep women down. Many men who lack confidence themselves are misogynistic. They feel inferior to many other men and get turned down by many women. They need to feel “better than” someone. It’s pretty similar to racism.

Had an ex like that. Said I needed to earn as much as him because “I’m not your Dad.” Meanwhile I did all the domestic duties including all his laundry and even packing his lunches. He had the audacity to also say “my stepmom makes sure all the bills are paid on time and takes care of everything like that.” Also he wanted a baby but not get married. That of course didn’t happen. I left. He wasn’t even a good looking or charming guy. I don’t know who he thought he was. He acted like teenaged boy,…

Good for you! I totally agree agree! When I was single but not very interested in dating; I got lots of male attention from some HVMs. When I started to want a boyfriend and showed it, I got rejected by LVMs.

Yes, I’ve had this happen! The LVM’s ego got huge and he became emotionally abusive picking at every little thing about me and putting me down. I’m sure he came back down to earth when he went “back out there” and didn’t do well, lol.

Many unattractive men are misogynistic. They resent women that they can’t get. Meanwhile, they are rejecting the women who want them, because they don’t think they are good enough.

I met an ex at your age. He was LMV. I was really insecure that a HMV would want me. Looking back, I was beautiful, sexy, smart, motivated and kind. Unfortunately, I didn’t see myself that way even though lots of guys were interested. I didn’t come from a good family and was only in CC while waitressing. I’d been put down for that by a jerky co-worker who thought her son was out of my league just because he was in a good school. That and other insults from people who knew I wouldn’t say anything…

My ex of many years, who also still hooked up with me for over a year afterwards, all of a sudden had a serious girlfriend a whole month after I told him he could no longer just treat me like a prostitute because he knew it wasn’t just a hook up for me. He moved the girl into our old place right away. After a few years he knocked her up and actually married her. I’m sure she had no idea how recently he had slept with me before her. I’m sure he convinced her our breakup was all my fault. You have…

Sometimes it’s complicated. I stayed with LVM for many years when I could’ve had anyone. I felt sorry for him, was comfortable with him and became attached. I even loved him but wasn’t “in love.” I didn’t think I could get anyone I wanted at the time. The ex was good at insulting me and not appreciating me to encourage this. Plus my father was lousy. I was too young and naive to realize how much better I could do. Maybe OP is similar...

This may be a little out of context; but I thought I’d share for entertainment. True story: I had a douche bag actually get mad at me because my nipples were visible in a very cold air conditioned restaurant during a date! I had a bra on but the lining was thin. I was shocked that he actually got mad as of it was my fault! On top of that, you’d think he would’ve enjoyed the view, lol!

Anyone know who Lauren Southern is? I feel the same about her telling women they must get married in their 20’s because women in their 30’s/beyond can’t compete due to low SMV. However, she is going on 25. She isn’t married. She actually had the audacity to get upset with other conservatives saying she should be married with kids because she hasn’t found the right guy yet. She’s can’t handle her own ideology.

It’s just jealousy that she’s wasn’t as cagey as you! She’s already wasted three years with her bf, so she’s the one getting “used up”. (not that I even believe in that stupid expression.) I’ve wasted more so I’m not gonna judge. Now I won’t give anyone more than a year to propose max. That being said, I don’t even think I even want to be married, lol! I kinda suspect I never truly have since I was willing to waste so much time.

Lol! It’s true. The difference between men and women with aging is that men more often look gross. There is a difference between getting older gracefully (most women, because they take care of themselves, partly because society (aka Red Pillers) gives them so much shit about getting older) and men who are just disgusting. Big fat beer bellies, gynomastia, copious hair growing out of their ears, nose, on their backs, yellow teeth, etc.

I was the same way and my mom was as well. Sometimes I feel bitter as too. At least we know not to repeat the mistake. I think a lot of people just mimic what they saw their parents do until they are old enough to start analyzing their past.

Great post OP! She’s absolutely right! I noticed this when reading men’s online dating profiles. Most men list everything they want in a woman. Women should avoid those men. A few men seemed to realize what women want and actually wrote what THEY have to offer a woman. The latter example shows those few men have a good emotional IQ. For example, what motivates people to apply for a job? It’s certainly not reading about what the employer expects or requires. It’s reading about what the job has to…

I think many guys (or the kind worth worth keeping=HVM) realize how often other men pretend to be more committed than they actually are. Those HVM understand why women are wary. When they are falling in love with a woman, they want to show her that they are HVM by doing things for them. I’m sure they realize that you wouldn’t date them just for those things. Don’t feel badly letting them earn your confidence in the relationship. HVM actually want to do that. You can spoil them once you are marri…

Great list! I would never do any of those again that I’ve done for boyfriends!I wouldn’t give a pet to a shelter or to anything less than a good home even for a husband! Actually there would have to be a REALLY good reason why my husband was even asking me. The fact that he even asked would probably make me see him completely differently and not want him anymore. I wouldn’t give up a person unless they truly were toxic either. If I had a once of a lifetime educational or work opportunity, it cou…

I made the mistake of telling a shitty ex that he could do laundry at my place. His bag of dirty laundry just sat untouched by my washer for weeks even though he was at my place all the time. Finally I decided that I would just wash it for him. He ended up rarely doing his own laundry for the many years we were together. It wasn’t simple laundry either. He had oil stains, tape, bolts, dirt, sand, bottle caps, candy wrappers, coin and cash in his pockets. I would spend hours trying to scrub out a…

Yes! That is the cheesiest question! A trait of narcissism is mimicking someone’s else’s personality because you don’t have one. The guy should be the one talking himself up and trying to convince you that he’s worthy. You just sit back and be entertained while you decide.

I don’t know about being mean but men tend to not like really nice women and women that show that they want anything serious. I was a “one foot out the door” person for years in a relationship. I had been really young and I started to grow up and feel badly about it. I started really building the ex up with compliments and tried to raise his low self esteem (he often felt really sorry for himself for no good reason.) Instead of telling him to buck up like I had before I became a soft nurturing e…

Some men truly prefer literally no make-up. Its just that most are morons when it comes to cosmetics and don’t realize that the natural look they say they like actually takes a lot of effort. When I wrote men won’t find a natural women attractive I meant more so a woman just waking up like we do when we are alone in the morning me with dirty hair in a top knot, in an old tee, old smeared make-up, no bra etc. Of course I’m just talking in general. Some women are so gorgeous they don’t need anythi…

Lol, sorry for being harsh and a little over dramatic! Personally, I rarely wear make-up these days. I don’t bother because according to many men since I’m overweight, I shouldn’t bother. I know there are men that really are okay with no makeup but it seems the majority just want women to look like they don’t have make-up on but are actually wearing quite a bit but it’s applied really naturally. Men are just often shallow assholes, who don’t know anything lol! We can’t live our lives to please t…

Love her stand-up. To the next guy that bitches about it being unfair that men have to pay for dates- would you trade paying for a woman that doesn’t spend any more money on her appearance than you? If so, cool, split the bill. Otherwise STFU because women spend hundreds to thousands more than you do to look good for you. You say you like natural women?? You have no idea what a truly natural woman looks like but I can guarantee you wouldn’t be attracted to one.

I agree with you. A 35 year old woman may want a 45 year old man. Ten years isn’t a big deal, especially after age 30. I was just trying to make a point that many guys assume a younger woman will want them but many times they don’t.

Or they are 45 and their age range is 25-48. It’s like dude’s willing to go 20 years younger but only a few years older. What makes them think a 25 year old or even a 35 year old wants them? No dude, your age range is 40-50.

I believe this is probably generally true. Hence the saying “a woman’s job is never done.” Couple being responsible for most of the child raising/household duties while having a job outside the home and it’s just not a recipe for happiness for anyone. Plus women appreciate sex on a regular basis but men need it. Women are more pressured by society to stay attractive while men let themselves go and joke about it.

Exactly! We feel trapped as well. Personally not so much trapped in that I want to sleep with a bunch of different men; trapped as in I miss the excitement and romance of a new relationship. This could be because all so many men want to do after you’re a couple is lay around and watch sports or tv.

Sex is really important for bonding but it can’t be the only form of bonding. You need to spend time doing similar interests and share your lives. Women in general need verbalization of love and acts of service while men generally need sex more and to feel respected. Of course those are generalizations. I thought that was worth repeating so I don’t sound sexist. Everyone is different and unique regardless of gender. I believe in love. Red pillers do come off shallow to me. Maybe they aren’t. May…

Personally, I can totally respect couples that choose not to be legally married for personal/financial reasons that have nothing to do with lack of commitment or love. I was just speaking against some men having live-in girlfriends that they don’t marry; even though they want marriage someday- just not to that girlfriend but they act like they do so she won’t leave. I guess I’m just saying deception in any form is wrong. Getting used is really painful.

Men also pretend to have genuine feelings for women they just want to sleep with. There’s comments on here from guys basically saying they want an LTR to have sex on the reg. That’s not anymore cool than women using men for money. There are women out there that want a genuine relationship and get used all the time. The worst are the dudes who want women to live with them for years on end and play housewife taking care of them and working/paying bills. The women are in love - thinking that things…

Lol! He says that yet, he probably also expects women to be the ones that make a house a home and tidy up after everyone. I think JP’s mind is chaos and he needs to categorize everyone and put them in a little cubby according to their gender so he doesn’t have an anxiety attack.

Men absolutely show age and just like us, once we’re over 35 we can still look good but it take more effort. Men tend to be much lazier when it comes to most things including appearance. Women are used to doing a hundred different things to look better before leaving the house. That’s why you see so many couples where the woman is dressed well, nice hair and make-up and fit, while the man has totally let himself go, has man boobs, scrawny arms, a gut and is balding. But hey WE’RE supposed to be …

Yep! Left an ex after no proposal for seven years and he had just paid 10k cash for a motorcycle when one of his excuses was that he was saving for a really nice ring. When I was packing he barked “ I was just a meal ticket for a girl like you.” I was shocked.
