I would leave but I would not lower myself to be nasty like the cheating partner. Him cheating seems so unlikely just based on his past and mine. I think it is low for people to expect alimony from an ex spouse (have some pride and make your own!) I would just cut ties if they were to ever break the deep bond we share

I would agree if the trust is not there beforehand to not do it. I think it's a big commitment and that alone speaks to the trust you have in that person, but also see your point of the relationship not changing too much with marriage or dating! There are small micro differences like legal and just a statement to the universe that is your forever person! Dating has such a temporary connotation IMO and while totally necessary when deciding who your life partner is, it would be strange to date for…

The paper itself doesn't deepen it so much as does trusting someone to legally represent you in life. I mean, filing taxes with someone, sharing bank accounts, its not something I would do with just anyone. But I get if the goverment/paper thing doesn't make it deeper for everyone, I think it just speaks to the trust level to take that step with someone Also, I'm sure a lot of men get nervous to get married with someone who could take them for half, and it says like, "I truly trust you on every …

I think the biggest thing that made me move from dating to marriage is the thought if he got hurt and I need authority over decisions at the hospital or something majorly serious like that. The thought of being turned away because I wasn't legally his wife would have been heartbreaking. And I would prefer to represent him vs like a parent or something. Like, he is mine! (In a cute romantic way, he is obviously his own person, but still, mine lol) Plus, its a deeper level of trust and support sim…

There is plenty of benefits if you marry the right person who is there to support you. Marrying my husband changed my life for the better and showed me what unconditional love is all about! The right marriage enhances all the best qualities about yourself and life!

Its a pretty nerve racking experience for ANY guy to get down on one knee and ask to spend the rest of their lives with you (even if youve been together for forever and know they will 99.99% say yes) Extravagant proposals could cost a lot of money and be hard to plan depending on how much time you spend together. Also, the proposal is so intimate and just between the two, so why does this big display matter? For social media? For strangers watching? I honestly think people who care more about a …
