I turn 35 next month and a young-ish guy who came to my door asking for donations for some charity asked if my parents were home. I’m not sure if it was flattery as sales tactic or legit confusion, but sadly I have not been left alone either. 🤣

She needs to consult tenancy laws in her state and begin the process to legally evict him.

Because if he left, he’d have to pay rent, and clean his own toilet, and cook his own dinner, and do hos own grocery shopping, etc., etc.

Seriously. Humans don’t die without sex, so how has it been framed as a need?

I used to be an anti gun liberal too. (One of) The (many) problem(s) is that women rarely benefit from claiming self defense against a male aggressor. And it’s very easy for a man to get a gun away from a woman who isn’t prepared to use it, and turn it against her. Now I don’t know what the answer is.

I wear earphones sometimes even without music, but even if someone starts talking to me, I just ignore it, because, why would some dude I don’t know be talking to me and expect my attention? Clearly he must be talking to someone else around whom he knows, rather than me, a stranger.

Right? It sounds like to him the definition of “a relationship” is the ways in which he may or may not be willing to behave to get access to sex.

That’s because there are too many things trying to kill people in Australia. You’ve got your own moat with gators and sharks. Add huge spiders and ripped kangaroos and it’s not very appealing…

It’s also the biggest day for sex trafficking in the year. 😢

Yeah I shouldn’t need to CoMmUnIcAtE that the dishes in the sink need to be put in the dishwasher or that a full laundry basket and socks on the floor means it’s time to do a load of laundry. Dude’s got eyes.

There was an uproar a few years ago when a couple of airlines (not in the West) were saying they wouldn’t put solo female travelers next to male travelers. I just don’t understand how this can happen with so many people around.

I did too, and I underestimated how much I would grow in my 20s and early 30s. That’s the main mistake of getting married young to an older man. He doesn’t grow, and he ties you down.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
