I was in the same situation as him, I got the test and the kid is mine. I couldn't bare the thought of paying support // raising a child to be a man and finding out down the road that he wasn't mine. She and I were already split, I could have given a shit less if she cheated, I just needed to know if that boy was biologically mine or not. To this day no one knows that I got the test, to be frank no one ever will. Also you have to understand r/relationships is dominated by very specific demograph…

I don't think it's awkward, I'm a business professional and personally if someone put out their left hand, I'd raise mine instantly. I'd assume they had a disability or injury therefore I will treat them with respect. I feel that's what any good human being would do. Just because your hand is like that doesn't mean you're less of a human being. In fact I quite admire the fact someone looks adversity in the eye; it's inspiring. Be proud and confident my friend, you are who you are.
