"My gut feeling is telling me to run away, but I keeping thinking about her good characteristics"......dude, they all seem nice in the beginning. The woman that you marry is totally different from the woman in divorce court. WAAAY different. If you're having second thoughts then that's a pretty good sign that there is something about this woman that makes you uncomfortable, regardless of your attraction towards her. I would either wait it off until you feel more ready or cut her loose.

If this guy takes your advice, all this woman is gonna do is gaslight the shit out of him and make it seem like it's all his fault. And at the end of the day, even if he tries his hardest to meet her wishes, he's still gonna get the boot. Once a woman makes her mind up, dont even bother. LET HER GO!!!!!!!

Stories like this is why I never married. I had an ex gf who treated me like a king. Bought me the best gifts for my birthday, christmas etc. Always took turns paying for dates. And when it was her turn to pay she would take us to the most awsome restaurants. Called me every....single....day like clock work. Knew my schedule to the T and made sure she contacted me when I wasnt busy. I mean, it was like she was like marriage material. Then it all stopped out of nowhere. One word responses to my t…

C'mon man. Are you serious?? She can't be herself in front of him, but married him for 8 years and had 3 children by him?? Was it a problem before they got married?? I highly doubt it. Its just an excuse for an exit. That's all it is.

You said you guys had sex 8-9 times a year on average before it got worse. If you couldnt realize your marriage was over by then, you probably overlooked alot of other things as well. I think she checked out WAAAAAY before the arguments started. You were just oblivious to the signs.

5 kids and a stay at home wife?? Whatever you do, please dont believe her if she appears like she wants to be cordial in the process of this divorce. She's getting ready to put you on a bbq grill bro. Get a lawyer asap. Believe me when I tell you this. THIS WAS ALL PLANNED!!!!!!!! Dont trust her.

That fact that you even tried to make it work tells me you're a decent guy. I couldn't do it. No sex for like 3 months and I'm out. You have incredible patience. I hope you find someone way better. It's a cold world out here.

The fact that you miss someone that totally disrespected you without a second thought is a major problem in my opinion. Look, I know you have feelings for this woman, and we can't help who we love. But you gotta love yourself first buddy. The minute you took her back after her first infidelity is where you fucked up big time. She probably lost all respect for you at that point, even tho she wont admit it. I'm 99% sure that's the case here. You should have cut of off the first time. It's easier s…

Looking back on everything, would you marry knowing what you know now?

My goodness. 34 months with no sex from the wife?? That's wild man. I'm so sorry.

In my honest opinion, I think the person she planned on monkey branching to is probably not taking her serious, and she is keeping you as a safety net just in case. So when she changed her mind and wanted space instead of divorce, she's just testing the waters. Dump her quick and move on. You deserve better than this.

Something tells me you overlooked ALOT of red flags before marrying this woman. But I ain't judging you. We all make mistakes. Just take it as a learning experience and move on.

You shouldve came up with a plan before you started a whole new family. Now you have 2 households to be responsible for. On top of losing 75% of your income to garnishments??? Sheesh...smh. I hate to say it man, but a lot of this you brought on yourself. I hope you find a way out this. I dont think bankruptcy is worth it with only 7k of debt. Look up Dave Ramsey. He's pretty good at giving advice for people in your situation. Good luck man.

Man you better get an std and a paternity test ASAP!!!!! That's exactly what I wouldve done before coming on reddit looking for opinions.

Listen man. If a woman truly loves someone, she is not going to threaten him with separation. If she is not afraid of losing him, then that's a clear sign that her heart is not rooted in the marriage like it should be. All relationships has its ups and downs. Gotta work together like a team and stick things through. No one said it was easy.
/r/Divorce_Men24/06/24 10:37 PM

She will eventually find a different reason to leave him. Even if he starts doing good again.
/r/Divorce_Men24/06/24 10:19 PM

The relationship was over way before she brought this up. She just has a perfect excuse now to leave without feeling guilty. Just do yourself a favor and let her do her monkey branching in peace. Just leave man.

Did she find out something about you that you aren't telling us?? Maybe some infidelity or some secret she found out?? How could she be angry for no reason?? She sounds a little crazy if that's the case.

I'm not gonna come on here and try to judge you because we've all done stupid things, including me. But please brother, for your sake, get ALL your children a paternity test.

Did him a favor after 21 years of marriage??....cutting someone off after a first date is doing them a favor. Not divorcing them after 21 years of marriage.
/r/Divorce_Men20/05/24 09:14 PM

If you dont mind me asking, did she give you a reason why she wanted a divorce? Do you think she is willing to change her mind at all and try mariage counseling? 21 years being married to someone is a long time. All those years of building together for it to just abruptly end like that just really sucks man.
/r/Divorce_Men20/05/24 09:12 PM

What caused the divorce? Is counseling at all possible? Will she be cordial with you in coming to an agreement to be amicable?
/r/Divorce_Men13/05/24 08:00 PM

Did she give you a reason for the divorce?? Is therapy or counseling at all possible?? I would try to see if it is salvageable first before moving forward.

I'm both happy and sad for you my man. You got taken to the cleaners. But glad you're free tho. DONT DO THAT SHIT AGAIN!!!!!🤣🤣

I'm sorry bro. Did she ever give you a real reason why she wanted the divorce?
/r/Divorce_Men14/04/24 10:34 PM

I dont know if being more attentive wouldve worked. If she was unhappy she would've eventually found a way to sabotage the relationship, even if you did the best you could. This is why I believe young men should understand the nature of a woman before getting married.
