There might be a correlation. Or were all just poor unlucky bastards.

Wow. Just wow. Its amazing how bad some people just really are. And just how often we military guys marry crazy women. My girlfriend once asked me if was just paratroopers and spec ops or the whole military did. Its the whole military. :/ Its almost as if they issue us crazy women. Sounds like you had a really good command. Hopefully you got a room in the barracks after getting back. As for the "I fear nothing or no man" I know how you feel. My old lady tells me how I walk into every place like …

Yeah, I am. My current girlfriend is incredible. She pulled me out of my "I'm just going to stay single as all women are fucking evil" phase.

Getting out was the greatest thing to happen to me. Luckily, even though I was out of the military at the time she was arrested I still had my NCO support channel to lean on. Dude kept me from losing my mind. I hope your Joe made it out OK.

Dude, I'm sorry. Hopefully the police carted her away. But as a positive, at least its just a defensive wound and not a scar on a dead man. Bro hug. No homo.

I thought she was a good person. I couldn't see the crazy storm brewing beneath the surface. She kept it hidden.

Whenever I hear the charmed theme or catch a glimpse of it as I flip through the channels, it sends a chill down my spine. Fuck that show and its lazy writing.

I'm off for two days, I'm playing BioShock infinite. I'm having a nice microbrew. I've got a wrx in my drive way. If you had asked me if this was possible at that point. I would've said no.

I'm sorry to have given you rage. Its far too early. And as for my life. Its gotten better. Awesome car, amazing girlfriend, OK job. To quote johnny the homicidal maniac. " Dear Die-ary, there's nothing terribly wrong with feeling lost, so long as that feeling precedes some plan on your part to actually do something about it. Too often a person grows complacent with their disillusionment, perpetually wearing their "discomfort" like a favorite shirt. I can't say I'm very pleased with where my lif…

Thank you. With her record, she won't ever have gainful employment. With her and moms inability to put the pipe down they won't pass drug tests. And all her loser friends refuse to get jobs and only want to do reenactments.

Patience. I have loads of it. As for the stronger. Not at all. And the training. No. I was in a special operations unit and she used to use that against me. "You could kill me with your bare hands, who's going to believe that a woman could beat up a big bad special operations paratrooper" I did want to hit her, a lot. There were times, in which I honestly thought. " If she comes through the door, I'm putting a controlled pair in her and were visiting the back corners of the impact area". And I c…

Yeah. The cops that came saw all the bruises, cuts and hand prints around my neck. She was taken in. Spent two months in jail and is a convicted felon of DV. I didn't press charges as I was still in my "its my fault " mindset that you find in victims. State did though.

Took me being on the brink of death and watching the world fade as she nearly choked the life out of me.

My ex wife used to brag to her friends about it. ;/ Breaking my nose, dislocating my jaw. Etc. She usually followed it up with "he deserved it and I have to keep him in check"

Very true. Sometimes though. I do worry about the people she sees now. I don't want anyone else being beaten.

I'll be honest. I don't know how many times when I'd have myself barricaded in the bedroom I would think about pulling my ar out and dropping her if she came through the door and taking a visit out near CAG. Sometimes, I honestly wonder what stopped me from killing her.

Ain't that some truth. If I ever make it up to DLI I'll buy you a beer. We can talk about how paratroopers always tend to marry crazy women. My current girlfriend once asked me "is it just paratroopers that marry crazy women, or all military? " this was after hearing my story. My buddy's story with his crazy ex, and one of my soldiers crazy exes.

Ah. The jump excuse. I used that one. And the "it happened during combatives".

Hey bro. I feels them feels man. I was in the 82nd myself doing all things manly outside of the EIB. And my ex wife started the abuse there. Pcs'd to Lewis and the beatings got worse. Its embrassing telling your green beret boss that "I just fell down the stairs man". Good to know you got away.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
