1	I just watched Female Circumcision: Human Rites As I have said, I do agree with the point you are trying to make. I just don't think that this is a good way to go about it as without explanation it does just look like you're being hypocritical and that draws attention away from the actual issue. 2	I just watched Female Circumcision: Human Rites I do understand that you are doing it to point out a double standard that exists. I just think it may be better to simply point out that there is a double standard and then use the correct term for both males and females as otherwise some people may miss the point that you were trying to make and think that you were being hypocritical. 1	I just watched Female Circumcision: Human Rites I can see the point that you are trying to make and I agree that it is awful that different terms have been used in order to make male genital mutilation seem more acceptable. However, I think it is very important to go about this in a very careful way as we need to encourage people to see these practices as equally horrific. It is quite right that male genital mutilation is just as horrific and wrong as female genital mutilation and that we should view both as being horrific and utterly wrong. It does feel like many people on this thread are downplaying the problem of female genital mutilation in order to highlight male genital mutilation. Anatomically refers to the anatomy of the body part in question i.e the actual structure of the organ NOT its relative sensitivity. identical means just that...IDENTICAL. 1	I just watched Female Circumcision: Human Rites Yeh, it would be helpful if they did. I think the majority of information numbers wise is based on estimations.
