i think the pandemic is kind of skewing my perception as well... its not like i was never approached also at bars i usually have a gaggle of women which doesn't help lol but i also kind of doubt the ability to meet quality men at a bar... seems kinda unlikely so thats prolly the vibe i give off

No, I'm not rude, lol It's the difference between saying "Could you maybe please do x for me?" and "I need x from you, thanks" in a work environment. First verbiage is tip toeing and fluffy, second one is more professional and to the point. Honesty and rudeness are two different things. I also worded my comment poorly, I would really describe myself as no bs. Just honest and upfront.

Doesnt bother me. I dont mind being tall, i just think it makes me command a room a bit more. i dont think its because im tall im not being approached lol I have a no bullshit, upfront personality. Im an embedded systems engineer and being a woman in tech has given me no tolerance for men talking down to me. So, i think i sort of carry that with me. Also, Im kind of neutral on men approtaxhing me, like, i dont really invite them to with my body language. Theres also a chance i have been hit on a…

Im really social, but i honestly think im intimidating. Im pretty tall (5'8, 5'11-6' in heels at a bar), and I carry myself well. Not that im insanely attractive or anything, i think i just have a strong vibe

YUP The last few ones ive tried just immediately started sucking out my life force (expected me to hang out with them 4-5 days a week after two dates, emotional manipulation, using my emotional labor, etc) Im feeling really discouraged

I tried this then a guy showed up to my workplace after he did some digging and figured out where i worked. Left cheap flowers and a shitty poem on my car 😐

the secret for me was giving up trying to be charismatic. I communicate my thoughts/work/intentions as professionally and clearly as I can. For me charismatic makes me be too nice. Edit: Also, shoulders back, head up, pelvis tilted forward, always. Walking strongly and with intention also gives you presence in a room. Doesnt matter if youre walking to get water in office, into a meeting, whatever Also eye contact

I really suck at rejecting people because i try to be too polite about it, or just kind of phase them out. I feel like men only understand what im doing if im rudely blunt about it. Even though this is usually after 1-2 dates...

How tall are you? Im 5'8 and have started to really enjoy the way that i have a presence and really take up space in meetings/office settings. When i wear suits I like to wear heels with them so i can get up to 5'11 or so. I work in tech, and lemme tell ya, sometimes its badass to look down when you shake the interviewers hand.

this exact same thing happened to me!! i called him out like "uh, you're not six foot" and he had the audacity to tell me i must be " at least 5'10" like lol that means youre also about 5'10 if that was true

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
