It was a mistake.

To be faithful is not an easy way. The bible tells us this. Only a small percentage of people will make it to the kingdom of heaven. It has never been easy and as you said especially difficult now in today’s society. There is an ebb and flow where people turn from God then turn back. I hope in my lifetime I see a revival of faith, but It could take a centuries if he does not work a very publicized miracle.

I think most women in the west can go 5 minutes without sex, can you just answer my question?

I hadn’t dated a very religious man until I met my husband. I always wanted to wait, but didn’t think I could find a man that would be OK with that in the age we live in. It is also easy to give in to temptation if both partners are not steadfast. I wish that I had saved myself for my husband, but i do hope that God blesses my current marriage for us to at least stay pure for eachother until we said our vows. It was not an easy feat but we did it.

Curious as to what country? Is this cultural specific to your region?

The men in here are acting like they physically can’t go without sex. That if you aren’t putting out they are getting it elsewhere. They seem offended at the idea that some women won’t sleep with them immediately. You wonder what they did until they had sex for the first time?! I think they forgot.

You are dating some particularly nasty women.

It is key to spend plenty of quality time together. Not just a date here and there. I made sure the man really invested his time in me and didn’t have any red flags. That is enough time to see if something seems insincere about a guy & If a guy does that he isn’t likely to just be interested in sex.

Not if you expect them court you for at least three months up to a year and half like i did before finding my husband. Its really not so difficult if you have enough in common beyond a physical attraction. The one time i caved at two months the dude was spinning plates and there were signs but i was totally charmed by him. I soon found a list Detailing over 100 sexual partners with multiple men included yet he pretended to have a low count since i did. Never once after that did i give in so earl…

Unfortunately, I have many girl friends exactly like this. One actually is extremely vain but pretends to hate her body just so we all give her huge ego boosts. Ill get random texts of her boobs “ugh my boobs feel even bigger today” or a pic of another girl “am i this fat?” Yet when it comes to dating she always asks me “is he too ugly for me?” When she gets into a serious relationship.

You are likely right. I amend my original statement. OP should be able to tell if she still actually desires him or if she is doing it out of obligation though, no? If she genuinely still enjoys sex with him and still is attracted to him is a good sign. Women tend to become disgusted by men they don't respect and repelled by them sexually much earlier in the deterioration of a relationship men does the woman. I don't think it's guaranteed that she is cheating on him, but it is very possible espe…

I am guessing she is a part timer to stay home and watch the children? If she tries to resist your budgeting, give her two options (people do better with options) either go back to work full-time to support her pampered lifestyle and miss out on spending time with the children, or continue to enjoy the fruits of being a part time stay at home mom by budgeting. People usually won't change unless it's easy. Your actions are likely making it easier for her to stay fat than have the motivation to lo…

It is great that you are focusing on you and your kids, that should be your focus. Sounds like your wife at this point is a hindrance to you and your children. You need to be a strong father to overcome her domineering/feminist teachings. Children do not turn out well with these types of mothers. You need to model the appropriate husband/wife balance which means you are the boss. If she will not acknowledge you as the leader, she is not fulfilling the biblical principals herself and is not actua…

I am really struggling with this as I am an introvert who doesn't need to hang out with people often to feel happy in friendships. I only had 1 close friend the past 10 years which has recently dissolved. This has left me wit From what I've read online, the best thing you can do is to become predictable. You need to be at a place at the same time, everyday, or on a regular schedule. An example of this would be a bar 9pm every fri, a coffee shop 10am daily, or a book club each wed. at 7pm. When y…

if he really is a perfect partner in every other sense then this might just be something you need to accept as a flaw and move on with your lives together. if he isn't REALLY a perfect partner in every other sense (which i doubt else he probably wouldn't be divorced, but for all i know she could be crazy.) you should see this as a big red flag. it is already causing you resentment & that isn't healthy. i dated a man once with children and child support payments that took most of his check after …

sounds like you already decided no sex until commitment. is that not important to you? if it is, you shouldn't be asking this question. it shouldn't matter. if a man needs sex and won't commit without it, he isn't the man for you. if you had a guy that seemed to be loosing interest, wouldn't you hate thinking that you 'hooked' a guy by having sex with him on the 3rd or 4th date. wouldn't you wonder if he would have stuck around if you hadn't put out. you have a lot more value than your vagina. a…

yah for waiting! it's def. super hard, but i am so glad we did. sorry to hear about your mother. maybe i'm wrong, but i get the gist that she isn't in love with him, but is just going through the motions because it's easier than starting a new life on her own? that's just a recipe for disaster. i hope you can convince her otherwise, please be upfront with her because she can have so much more happiness even alone than with someone that just doesn't fit right. if that's not the case, sorry i assu…

this is all so true thank you for this. i find myself pretty feminine, but a lot of these tips will be very helpful becoming even moreso :) i do want to mention that trying to stick your butt out can become become habit can wreck your back. I was taught to stick my butt out by my friends in middle school & now my back has a HUGE curve in it and my belly sticks out and makes me look fat in clothing even though my belly is small and toned. You should actually tuck your pelvis for correct posture w…

Me and my husband waited until we were married to live together and everything else ;) He proposed on our year anniversary. I feel like if we had sex or moved in together when we were dating, the proposal would have taken longer. When two people are busy with their lives and getting everything they want out of a relationship, there often isn't any rush to make things official. Often, after awhile though this causes some concern for (usually) the female who figured they would be married after a y…

your friend seems to be obsessive. are you guys young? i have been that obsessive person when I was young (early 20's) so I can't blame her too much. She will probably grow out of it once she gets some more self-confidence and grows more into herself as a person and herself as a woman. Strangely enough a lot of people don't do that until mid/late 20s. The only thing you can do is have an open/honest convo with her about how she seems to be obsessed with someone who hasn't expressed much/any inte…

Ahh i remember you. you are the crazy girl who thinks its ok for her boyfriend to cheat on her with prostitutes. looking at your comment history is very sad. you definitely need therapy for your self-esteem issues and for allowing your boyfriend to use you and take advantage of you and seeking online forums to validate you staying within your terrible relationship.

i think you need therapy. once you figure out what's going on with you, then you can find a partner who can make sex enjoyable for you.

as a girl snooping this thread, i think it'd LOVE this. it's playful, but lets her know if she REALLY wants it to get up and get it herself. it's probably lead to some making out too sometimes. man. you are good.

pretty sure if you are having anal with someone you are also having vaginal sex unless you are a religious teen who thinks God doesn't count that as sex. I think most 13 year olds aren't even that dumb.

imo it means PIV sex. anything else would create grey areas where people aren't sure what to count and harder to remember things that happened a long time ago. it's pretty clear cut when you just make it PIV. Unless you are a total slut you should be able to remember how many people you've had sex with.

i am not sure about your state, but i have heard that you can not voice record a person without their permission and it be used in court. Yes, it may be able to settle something with the university, but if it becomes an actual lawsuit I think you need to let her know "just so you know, i am recording this interaction." before you ask her anything. If she genuinely believes she is in the right here, she will probably still admit to it on tape, but if she backs down and refuses to allow you to tap…

This is absolutely true. I think if you'd had a friend of the opposite sex since childhood and no attraction on either side occurred, that may be an exception. it feels totally sleezy to me even thinking about hanging out with any of the guys I used to consider platonic male friends now that I am in a HEALTHY serious relationship. When I was in an unhappy relationship, I felt no need to get rid of my male friends. There was no sexual attraction on my part or theirs (as far as I could tell) so I …

I want to marry my boyfriend very soon (29 now) and start having children whenever he is ready as I am at any time. He wants 3 children which I also think is an optimal #. I want to have them fairly close together so they can be great playmates. I would love to either work from home (also a writer, but haven't entertained the idea of it as an actual career in years) or with my hopeful ;) husband. We want to start our own business, but do not have any solid ideas yet. I would prefer it to be one …

listen to your gut. if you are doubting his intentions or wondering if he is a good person, he probably is bad news. you will be able to tell pretty soon if he is a good guy & any red flags should not be ignored. I second guessed myself a lot when I would get suspicious of a guy, but every single time I should have trusted my instincts as they turned out to be jerks. I always felt completely at ease and trusted the good ones after the first three dates or so. If your mind is saying yes to trust …

How can you rape someone if they asked you to come over and have sex? The whole intention is to have sex.. it's not like he was coerced? I'm not defending her actions by any means I don't think she is funny at all, I am just trying to understand.

between 25 and 35 isn't much difference at all. only when you are older than 35 does it actually become a valid concern.

it's $7.25 here in Kentucky. most jobs that require experience and prefer a degree still just pay about $9 as well as people who just slave away in factories.

if you meet up with this guys wife be careful, that might affect the outcome of your divorces if they can spin it to make you two look like the ones carrying on an affair or at least make all parties seem equally guilty.

women won't become emotionally invested in a person who won't be there for the long haul. why go through the heartache of falling in love with a person just to lose them or sign up for a lifetime of a caretaker? it's a waste of time if you are truly looking for a person to spend the rest of your life with. i dated a man for three years who i new from the beginning was mentally ill. i thought i could do it because i cared for him so much, but his illness caused a huge rift between us. i was not s…

You can show a man the full package without living together. You have plenty of time to do that when you spend time together and when he comes to your home and sees how you keep it up and how you can care for him. I think a man has little incentive in todays world to marry a woman if he is already getting everything he wants especially knowing if it ever stops he can just walk out. Its not always intentional, it's easy to just fall into a married like life without the legal documents and actuall…
