I shave and never get ingrown hairs or red bumps. My secret is coconut oil for shaving my ladybits. It seems to protect the skin and gives a very close, smooth, comfortable shave. Coconut oil also has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Just rinse the shaver with hot enough water to loosen the hairs as you go. When I can't use that I use a mild bar soap, but never liquid soaps or anything with sodium laureth sulfate (like body soap) --that stuff is irritating! I also second the comment abou…

One of the best things you can do for yourself is to branch out into some new territory music-wise. Next time you hear a song you like but doesn't fit the radio stereotype, try doing a deep dive and looking up that band/artist to see if they're a one hit wonder deal or if they are a quality band/artist with more you might appreciate. I'll usually listen to the band "radio" playlist option to get a sense of the genre/sub genre and find a lot of good music that way. Sometimes I'll start with a son…

Something that really helps me is finding a style icon (usually some well known bowl, actress or other celebrity, but could even be someone you know) who had similar features and body build and who knows how to style themselves. When you see someone who is like you carry themselves with pride and grace, it's a whole different person to someone who hates themselves, and your bearing and manner in turn affects how other people perceive and treat you. Stand up straight, look people in the eye. Walk…

I make sure it evens out. But I don't expect to get paid for having a vagina unless I'd just given birth with it and we had that agreement. Im looking for an equal partner, not a replacement for my father. Im a grown ass girl :)

Titus 1:15. Let's just agree to disagree. Frankly, I kept my tone level and shared my view on the matter and you started with the personal insults and telling me my opinion was unacceptable. Do what you want in your own life and don't try to push your sense of morality on me. My comments are offered to give another point of view. I can't condone things like spying on your partner. I am sex positive and I personally think Jesus in the 21st century would be too. Do what you want with it.

Thanks, I've read it. And plenty of people in healthy relationships watch and share porn. It might just be that you don't know any.

Is that true, that RPW is anti-porn across the board? I love this sub, but on this issue I think traditionalist attitudes are fighting a losing battle. All guys masturbate. All guys. And most of them need a little help getting there. I personally don't need porn to get off, and I've gotta say I do feel jealousy sometimes that I am not the sole object of my bfs sexual attention at all times, but let's be honest, insisting on that in a relationship is unrealistic. You might think your guy doesn't …

Does any one else not see an issue with spying on your partner? My abusive ex spied on me over the years and I don't see how you can be in a loving, trusting relationship with someone who meets the issue of cognitive dissonance or perhaps even dishonesty with yet more dishonesty and cloak and dagger behavior? If you don't trust him, follow your gut on this and get out of there. On the other hand I've also found that as hard as it is to accept, our habits online tend to go hand in hand with our r…

Can confirm. My ex is a verified sociopath & when problems would come up in our relationship he would admit to having huge mommy issues. His mom was far from the ideal mothe. He was harshly disciplined and abused by caregivers while estranged from his parents for great lengths of time due to their work. Just want to provide an example here to back up what you said about criminal psychology. He once made my own mother cry and frequently argued with his and outright disrespected her. I wish I had …

I've known many women who after waiting too long went a little wild later, so maintaining "purity" is really no guarantee of any of this. I've also known women who never actually enjoyed sex and only realized that further down the road after they were married and then their husbands were stuck in a dead bedroom situation. There are two sides to every story, but my personal view is that it's your body and your business, so do what feels right to you, but the idea of virginity equating purity seem…

Girl, don't do that. Yikes. Head on over to r/skincareaddiction. There's a ton of science- backed useful information on there for whatever skin care issue you may have. Also, it really helps to learn about basic ingredients in products so you can read labels and know how to avoid irritating or useless chemicals. Your skin will thank you. Good luck!

Good question. Probably once they have grown up enough to take financial responsibility for themselves, same as a man. Before that you're not really grown up IMO.

Who are these girls who don't like to hear about other girls? Oh, I get it. They're girls, not women; probably about the age of twelve.

If you insist on the leggings and sporty top then make an effort on your hair, light makeup, earrings, feminine bag and maybe shoes in a feminine color.

I get you. I cared almost singlehandedly for my two daughters when they were young for that reason. I have high standards and because of it I'm forced to be choosy about who I take on as a friend. I've had a few amazing friends and a lot of lone patches in between. I like it. I focus on my stuff. Of course, some socialization is necessary for the sake of the kids, but try to be smart about it. Just my two cents.

I miscarried my third pregnancy, last summer (I have also two kids). I too was a little overwhelmed by the gross factor of it. Every day it went on felt like death was coming out of me instead of the life that should have. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Take time for you, grieve, but know that it will pass and you'll feel like yourself again.

Hate to break it to you, but good health and fertility can certainly be lessened in an individual woman due to chronic illness or bad health choices, regardless of her age. If you can become unhealthy, this can be brought back in line and even improved through lifestyle choices such as exercise, diet and supplements and even better mental health. You are assuming a perfect baseline. In the real world, almost everyone can stand to improve something! And improvement will raise your SMV. Consider a…

This is my situation. I work less hours and am a mother, so it seems to fall to me to take care of the house. My man and I are in a committed relationship but not looking to get married (both divorced). We both work and contribute mostly evenly to the household. But I do most of the cooking and cleaning. If I leave it to others, it doesn't get done and I seem to be the only one who cares about it. On the other hand, when bigger emergencies happen, my guy considers it "man detail". I would like m…

Psychology shows by way of the "halo effect" that when you praise others it makes you more seem more likeable to others.

Two sides of the same coin. People who are able to easily visualize themselves in someone else's shoes, can use this power either to help or to manipulate. Sometimes, paranoia can take over when too many "what ifs" create negative thought patterns about everything that could possibly go wrong.

I am of the personal opinion that a healthy sex life is an important part of a romantic relationship or partnership. It sounds like it's important to you, too. I also think it sounds like you may, possibly, be deceiving yourself about how little this issue bothers you, in order to benefit from the rest of what the relationship offers. Can you actually, simply, just sacrifice your sexual needs because he can't be bothered to learn how to be better in bed? You could try, but it could really start …

It sucks, but the only way is through. Interaction by interaction, whenever you feel something creeping in, do some self examination about the emotions that arise. If you reflect deeply you'll probably come to realize why you're being triggered and once you're aware, that's half the battle. Even with a history of abuse, you don't have to be a slave to your feelings and thoughts. With the awareness, you can go back into your mental programming and tell yourself something different, something that…

Is it possible that she was highly manipulative and was the dominant partner in the relationship? Maybe he has boundary issues.

It sounds like counseling could really help him. It's not as though the poor guy enjoys having this problem! Yes, it's embarrassing to have to come to terms with, but it isn't good for either of you. You are both suffering. Be a friend to the guy, cuz that's what you both need here. Take some time off sex while he gets help and if things change, awesome. If they don't, reevaluate. Edit: Typos

You're making a lot of assumptions here about someone you don't know. I would trust OP to judge the sincerity of her boyfriend when she brought the issue up. Now, if she continues to act suspicious and jealous it could cause problems down the road, but she should give the guy a chance to make this right. I've been in this situation and as far as I can see, it's one of those things you inevitably have to deal with as a couple unless you're both in your first relationship ever, or just plain unatt…

Men's interest in activities which are (generally) perceived as more masculine stream from a biological imperative to fulfill a certain role. Men have evolved to be stronger and more aggressive on average (necessary for hunting and protecting), while women are more nurturing and patient (necessary for caring for infants). You can't argue with science. Can what is deemed masculine or feminine evolve over time? Absolutely. But it will take longer in an evolutionary sense for the sexes to equalize …

A woman doing any of those things would be tapping into her masculine energy to accomplish them. If a woman told me that she brews her own beer, for example, I'd think she is totally rad, but I'm still willing to bet that if we tallied up micro brewing hobbyists, the majority of them would be men, making her interest in it a more masculine interest. Men interested in makeup and fashion freely admit to being in touch with their feminine sides. Maybe try looking at it in a less legalistic sense.

It could have been following your gut. I've only ever done this twice; both times in relationships that were becoming unhealthy (I knew I was being lied to and wanted to know the truth) and even then, I did kinda regret it afterward, because I found I was right, but by then I had violated the trust between us, just making the situation worse. I'd NEVER do it in my current relationship since my bf treats me with the utmost respect and I feel he deserves the same from me. But then, I trust him imp…

Read a whole book from start to finish (I'm going to Canada for 2 weeks so should have more time for it on my travels). Continue to create a capsule wardrobe made up of items that fit and look amazing. Play more with new fashion ideas with the goal of being more classy and feminine. Pack perfectly for the trip and help my Captain with his packing. Quit daily coffee (again, ahem!). I will be switching to tea instead and no more than 2 cups/day. Start on my writing by creating my basic outlines. S…

My first marriage was to someone who was verbally and physically abusive, but we managed to be physically intimate in the more extended honeymoon periods. I didn't realize there were further levels of intimacy I was not allowing because I was emotionally shut off. Fast forward to my relationship with my current boyfriend, and things are better in every way. He manages to be both incredibly masculine in attitude (read: he doesn't take shit from anyone) and amazingly patient, tender and gentle at …

I use it and it's done wonders for my skin. Took a break for six months and just started again so seeing the evidence once more. I was concerned about the hayflick limit myself, but read something about that not necessarily applying to skin cells. As to long term use, this woman on YouTube who has used it for almost 30 years is an inspiration. https://youtu.be/dqkt9rYtt2Q

Men need sex and if he's committed to you and you are in a healthy, loving relationship you should see it as a basic responsibility to the maintenance of said relationship to provide it. Learning to enjoy this if it's not something you feel you need (or as often) would be a huge step in the direction of making your relationship last long term. If you don't want him to look outside of the relationship for fulfillment, make him as happy as possible in it. Makes simple, logical sense to me. I know …
