She may have chosen the wrong way to feel safe but that does not make her wrong. If it were me, I would tell her no second date unless she stopped talking to all other guys and I want full rein in checking her out. 3	Male coworked got fired. Was at a work event, did a shoulder touch and smile with a new hire as a flirt method. She didnt reciprocate so he didnt persist. Later she complained to HR and he was fired for sexual harassment. Sucks . HR overreacted. Being with a company for 9 months isn't nearly enough time to establish a reputation.
