I deleted all of my profiles. I was curious about Facebook dating and it was...well awful.

Sorry. I misinterpreted your response. I guess I just don’t feel like dressing feminine is really “me” if that makes sense. I love dresses but I just don’t feel very attractive in most of my “feminine” clothes. How can I fem it up without compromising my personal style?

I’m casual. Skinny pants, wear a lot of black. And yes, I wear make up. But I honestly don’t think that should matter? Fashion choices are personal. Edit: I’m a little sensitive. Sorry for getting defensive.

Yes. I’m going back to school in the spring, working on my health (losing weight), and trying to get out of my current job, because I hate it.

My friend set me up with the last guy I was in a relationship with and he didn’t even try. If he didn’t have to talk to me, he wouldn’t. He didn’t want to spend time with me. I tried OLD for the first time in a year, thought I found a nice guy until he started trying to feel me up during our good night kiss. I work in a pharmacy with all women and all of the patients are senior citizens. I’m so frustrated. I don’t see the point anymore.

Did that too. Chopped off my hair, dyed it red, and dropped my boyfriend a few days later.

This. I held onto my most recent relationship longer than I should have because I didn’t want to be alone. So glad I snapped out of it!

I went through that too. Good for you, sis! You deserve to be cared about and treated with respect and dignity. Focus on yourself and the right person will fall into your lap. That’s what I’m hoping for for myself as well. Good luck!

I was very confused too. He really did the bare minimum. It made me feel awful.

I cried a lot too, sis. It’s ok to be sad about it.

I’m worried that if I try to talk to him, he will just break up with me. I don’t understand why he can’t just listen to me.

Right? In my 30’s and convinced I’m going to be alone forever at this point.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
