Women who got fit/in shape, how did your physical standards for a partner change?Actual physical attraction has changed very little as I’ve always been attracted to blue collar dad bod types but what has changed is that I need to be with someone active. They don’t have to be a bodybuilder or go to the gym 7 days a week or anything but having some form of activity they commit some time to each week is important to me. It keeps me motivated to stay active as well | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/06/25 01:17 PM
What complaint *COULD* a man state about being a man, that you would FULLY agree, and sympathize with? And you your first thought IS NOT: "But it's because of other men and the patriarchy..."I worked in the school systems for a while ago and it is very catered to girls. Boys get a lot less special programming, they get in trouble (for being boys… asking a 7 year old boy to sit still and be quiet for hours upon hours then being mad when he can’t do that…) more than girls. In most school systems the vast majority of teachers, admin, and staff are women so I think boys fall through the cracks easier | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/06/25 03:23 PM
DISCUSSION🗨️ ABOUT MAIN PPD POSTS📮, LOOKS👀, AND N-COUNT🔢 ARE RESTRICTED🚫 FROM THE DAILY🌞 MEGATHREAD🧵Rating inflation. I think some pg-13 in the recent years seems pretty R rated to me | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/25 01:29 AM
Why don't women look down on or criticize femcels as much as incels?“Dorothy” or the femcel does get looked down upon and made fun of. You see it around here all the time; a post 30 something 250lb single mom is completely un dateable and unfuckable by most guys standards. Women who are that large or old or single moms are called all sorts of names all over the internet. And her singleness would be put on her; it would be said that it’s probably cuz she’s fat or bitter or nags a lot or is a basic bitch etc | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/05/25 12:58 AM
How do the women here feel about absolute celibacy?I think it might be a little easier for some women than men. The sex toy market is really catered to us. There is shame in being hyper sexual (look at the hundreds of comments around here about n counts for ladies but much less care about n counts for guys). There is a higher risk for us(pregnancy, higher risks of stds, sexual violence) so I think it is easier to put less importance on sex That being said most women dont want to be celibate forever it’s just easier to go without when it’s not as… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/04/25 03:59 AM
There is a serious hypocrisy in modern dating. Not at all. I would be a monogamous loving wife in any case. But as a human I do need some material things so I can go work for them or he can give me money for them. Nowhere did I say I would only be loving or faithful if I had all my expenses paid. I’d be loving and faithful no matter what but I do have some expenses as do most people. Where did I “literally” say id only be monogamous and loving if I had all my expenses paid? That’s not at all what I said. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/04/25 01:58 PM
There is a serious hypocrisy in modern dating. Most women I know don’t just want stuff handed to them but like I said they aren’t the ones getting male attention If you can’t see that guys have as much to do with imbalance in the dating world as women do you’re probably your own problem. Step back and look at it from a bigger picture. You know as well as I do if she’s not at least 8/10 she’s going to struggle for male attention you just wanna be a victim as much as the women you talk about. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/04/25 01:41 AM
There is a serious hypocrisy in modern dating.I agree with a lot of what you said and even with what OP said but I think it applies to guys as well. Women should date on a horizontal access? Of course, but so should men. I see my average looking female friends who are educated, financially stable, that are just looking for love struggle finding that a lot more than the conventionally attractive girls I know who have taken on the “hot mess” persona. Guys in the middle class middle America that I live and exist in want nothing to do with girl… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/04/25 01:20 AM
There is a serious hypocrisy in modern dating.I’d take that lifestyle. But it’s rarely a realistic option these days. And I don’t resent or begrudge men because of that. However if I could turn in my full time job to cook, clean, garden etc I’d be happy. I’d need a small allowance for general upkeep (I need a gym membership and some new clothes every now n then etc). That gets into the territory of men saying women just want money in some cases though. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/04/25 04:19 PM
There is a serious hypocrisy in modern dating.“You cannot ask for a traditional man if you’re not a traditional woman” Fair. And lots of men describe wanting a traditional woman but are unable to fulfill the role of traditional man. So yes; hypocrisy abounds all over in the world of modern dating | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/04/25 04:05 PM
I've noticed in the media when people talk about ex's they always frame the ex girlfriend as crazy and a stalker and the ex boyfriend as abusive and a douchebag. What is your experience with this and what do you think it contributes to toxic gender roles and stereotypes.I think you are right that ppl automatically think of Ex as bad. I only half believe when ppl say horrible things about their Exes. I'm sure so and so did some shitty things, but often times it takes two to tango. I have one ex who had a lot of substance abuse problems. He eventually went on to rehab, relapsed, rehab again etc. He's a mess. However, he was never physically, verbally, or emotionally abusive to me. When I mention he had/has a problem with substances ppl often think he was abusive.… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/07/20 05:15 PM
Be honest. Does the self confidence of Black women piss off men who are not physically attracted to them?I think self confidence of a lot of people tends to border into negativity towards others. Most men don't give a fuck about the body positivity movement either way, but when the body positive people are also known for making fun of short guys, bald guys, or get mad when Adele loses weight. Body positivity should be for everyone, not just fat women. So to get back to the Confident Black Woman thing...that confidence often comes with a side of strongly disliking men. Of course not always, but ofte… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/05/20 03:27 AM
Do you think people should eventually outgrow RP/BP/PP?Yes I think a lot of people do. The more time you spend in the real world you realize a lot of this pill stuff doesn't apply. Life is life, sometimes it is red, sometimes it is blue, sometimes it is purple. People are people, sometimes they are red, sometimes the are blue, sometimes they are purple. I think as people get more and more settled into their life a lot of the pill stuff begins to become more irrelevant. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/20 06:19 AM
Beauty Habits That Aren't Makeup?Apple Cider Vinegar for my hair. Also for my skin. Also for anything and everything lol | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/03/19 07:27 PM
What do you think of men/women gaining weight after marriage.I don't think it is hating fat ppl to not want to see your partner almost double in size. I don't hate fat ppl, but I worry about my Dad's health as he continues to gain weight in his older years. Also physical attraction is extremely important for intimacy, so losing physical attraction is a 'thing' that could go wrong in a relationship especially for ppl in their 20s still. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/06/18 04:22 AM
