It means I've been on enough dates to know that even if it's discussed that nothing significant is gonna happen... Its still going to happen if I go to a guy's apartment or he goes to mine.

I didn't mention bars on purpose, when I first became single, I was going to bars almost every night. I would usually pick up a guy and make out with him, so, it's a lot, but, I wouldn't do much more than that unless it was an incredibly special situation. Overall though in terms of initial chemistry etc, bars are easier. I do better with less expectations. I saw it as a game and I'd pick the biggest challenge. It was fun, but it got boring. Obviously drunk guys at a bar are not a challenge. You…

I completely agree about perspective. I'm just giving mine. I want us all to get laid too. I keep thinking of giving my like okcupid dating stats to give a frame of reference about myself. I'm just looking back and finding patterns in my behavior and the guy's behavior. I really don't know how many okcupid dates I've been on. Dates: maybe 40? I'm not sure. More than once I had two dates in one night. I have some great stories. Mind you i'm still a "very selective" red dot, and guys would spmetim…

Yeah. I could be wrong. Some guys are much worse at this then others. I've probably also become jaded and there's a whole lot of ways kino can go down. I've had touch initiated by a guy, and responded positively, and the other way around. There's fine lines, and some guy's just don't know it. Saying "k-closing on an okcupid date" is all about expectations. I don't even want to explain that, I'm sorry. I also may not be your typical girl. I really don't know. But escalation is an art, and a lot o…

Going from first kiss to sex in one sitting. Maybe, if the date is going really really really well. But in my view, on an ideal first date, where I don't know the person beforehand, I'd have to like him enough for there to be natural touching (initiated by me) and some kind of real feeling of connection. And if there's natural touching and a real feeling of connection, kissing is coming way before I end up in the guy's apartment. Its gotten to a point with okcupid dates where I know that if I ag…

I'd say you have a 90% chance of buyer's remorse with that technique... probably 99% chance of buyer's remorse if it were me specifically.

Yup I believe him, and I didn't initiate it, I don't know who did, it was natural.

It's a great test for either gender. I think this was technically the first physical contact I had with the guy I'm dating now, our legs were touching under the dinner table on our first date. He claims he didn't notice but I did and I didn't pull my leg away. I'm going to be hypersensitive about that stuff on a first date, as to not give the wrong signals.

If you do it in the right away (harmless trivial things) it can almost create closeness. I can provide examples if wanted.

For the record, the delayed texting thing is the worst. I'd much rather date guys who don't do this. Actually, lately, no guys do this. So that's good. Please, don't do this. Girls are just as stressed about texting as you are, if not worse. Empathy, please.

As a girl on okcupid, unless you're incredibly good looking, I won't respond to a message without a question. It's crazy difficult to just respond to statements, especially when I have to respond to a lot of messages. A lot of okcupid is trying to stand out from the crowd, especially if you're seeking more attractive ladies. Short questions with meaningful responses and questions about my profile are most likely to get answers. Things that are way too long to read, or are too difficult to respon…

Also. And trust me, I am not totally keen on this, but. What I'd really like to do is explain to him my history a little bit, and explain that I was with one guy for a really (really) long time, so my adult dating experience is limited, which is why I feel so clueless. Maybe if I just say something like that, I'll stop worrying so much about being so clueless about adult dating practices. Of course this also makes me vulnerable and retarded and is assuming he gives a shit. But, it also means I'm…

You're basing this on how a girl dresses? I don't know how to tell you this, but what I wear doesn't really say much about me as a person. Just because I'm wearing a short skirt doesn't mean I fuck every guy, or will fuck you. Of course, it doesn't mean I won't fuck you either. It really doesn't mean much at all except for the fact that I like wearing short skirts. I don't think being shy and experience has much to do with the girl, once again, as a person. You're asking her to fuck you. She's a…

Yeah I haven't pushed "other options" at all -- in fact I've done the complete opposite (which is unusual for me). I've been very available, etc. Anyway, I think overall its going in a good direction even if I don't know where its headed. He and I have definitely been able to hold decent conversations, he shares his work stresses with me, etc, so, hopefully trust and intimacy are at least very slowly building. All the sex has been in lit areas and its pretty intimate, too. And we've only known e…

My main comments below are more referring to if you do sleep with her 1st night/2nd night. If you don't try to establish something other than something sexual -- she'll never think you could respect her... man... guys really make a big mistake with this. I still have guys trying to see me again, even months later. And the reason I'm harping so much on this, funny enough, is because I have a poor guy from Sunday (sigh) that is trying this and its just not working for him. I think it may be imposs…

Thanks for responding! Yup, I'm the girl. :) I did tell him straight out that I have fun with him maybe 6 dates in -- and he said something back like "yeah I do too, it's probably really obvious" (he meant like written all over his face). I honestly don't know if I'm ready to say anything, and yeah I don't want him to think I don't have other options etc. I definitely do not want to spoil the mystery. This is definitely very new territory for me. I suck at game after the first date. And I still …

Hang out with people who smile a lot. Seriously, smiling is contagious. You should hang out with me for a while. Me with people who smile is just a big retarded smile party. But, I sometimes try to hide this when I think a guy is really hot...

Also, quite frankly, if the sex wasn't good, she is never, ever going to respond. Nothing is better than instantly realizing on a date why he complained that girls wouldn't respond to them after he slept with them. Because. It was. Terrible.

You're going to have to somehow show interest in them other than sexual, and mean it. Ask them about themselves, about their lives, and share back. You're going to have to make up for "lost time" a bit.. maybe a couple hours of real conversation. Honestly... the better the sex, the more you probably need this. She won't be able to see passed the sex, so you're going to have to force it out of her mind for a few minutes by talking about something else, figuratively. The one I responded to, though…

Sooooo let's say you went on an extremely good okcupid date and it ended in hours of making out in a bar. The next day you take her to a party and after the party she sleeps with you (2nd day) -- fast forward another week and like 8 dates total, 5/6 sex sessions later... what should the girl do now? Anything? Can she ask if this is going to end up being a relationship? Ask him how he feels about her in general? How interested can she act without acting clingy or annoying? How much contact/how ma…

If your brief encounters have been very open, emotionally intense, and warm, she sounds like a pretty awesome lady, and maybe she's worth dating. She sounds a lot like me, but I've never said that line... but I've said lines similar but less about love. I've tried saying "I only have sex when I'm exclusive with someone." Its nearly impossible to actually keep to this if you let yourself be alone and the guy "lays on the foreplay hard, gets her really warmed up, and not finger her at all." Trippl…

This!!! "Girls pick up on the fact that there is no pressure and you respect them and it makes them way more likely to have sex. That's the truth." YES. I have a (shit) theory that the better looking the girl, the more game she's experienced, and the better she is at recognizing it. The major difference, if nothing else, and even if you care about nothing else, is I'll sleep with you a second time if there was no pressure. Then its actually legitimately about attraction and (some level, even a r…

There's a lot going on her in her head. A lot of girls (me) have mental chastity belts, for lack of a better description, that we've had our whole lives. And a lot of it is... will this guy respect me? Why exactly does this guy want to sleep with me? Could I be anyone with a vagina right now? Can I respect myself? She's got a lot of shit going on in her brain, especially if she doesn't know you very well. She's probably too scared to ask. Once she asks, the answer from you probably won't actuall…

Talk to the girl. You should ask her what she's thinking about, and get her to talk about it. If she tells you she's nervous, she tells you she's uncomfortable... get her to talk about it, and respond calmly to whatever she says. If she says something about if she's special, or you do this with every girl... you gotta say something kind of nice here. Tell her you're selective (hopefully you're not just sleeping with anything that walks). Make her feel like she's got value in some way. Treat her …

Looking and smiling. You have to have your head up and your head moving so guys can catch your eye. You have to be willing to make eye contact. Its amazing how many guys will look at you if you accidentally look at them.

A witty and honest guy would be extremely refreshing and attractive. This is exactly the same way I've been feeling the past couple months... I just want to be my interesting, intelligent, but happy/sweet/silly self. Its super difficult but if you apply the same confidence you had when you were pretending to not care, you can actually make real connections (ok, I've managed to pull this off only once since I started dating, but I can tell you it completely worked). The right person will recogniz…

I've totally gotten laid after an hour-long drunk thumb-wrestle. That shit works.
/r/seduction02/03/12 01:11 PM

Yup. It's all about the body language. Theres a huge difference between nervous and uncomfortable. Nervous means I want to be there, uncomfortable means I really do not want to be there and you've moved too fast. We're going to both enjoy ourselves a lot more if you give me enough time to become comfortable. I don't know about all girls, but when I want to do things with you, I'm going to show it, even if I don't mean to. Mostly in body language. Voluntary touching guys, voluntary touching. Volu…

Ohhh. Yeah... she probably was super attracted to you then. :) Though voluntary touching, seriously, is probably the most clear sign either way.

As a girl who has said this before... its probably one or the other: 1) You're making her feel uncomfortable and she thinks you're only interested in sex. 2) She really likes to you and she isn't sure how you feel about her in return. I've done both. There's a really easy way to tell the difference. How comfortable did she seem, really? Was it nerves or was it more? How much did she voluntarily touch you without you touching her first? Either way, she's telling you the truth. She doesn't want a …
