| – | What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left?Nah for me the issue is that when you tell the public your picking from only 20% of the population (women of color in the us) it comes across as potentially not picking the most qualified person possible, since you’re limiting the population so much. If he would’ve just picked Kamala without mentioning her race or gender, it would’ve given republicans less to attack her with | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 07:54 PM |
What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left?Nah, I just think you’re kinda obtuse | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 01:48 AM
What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left?Trump was only a candidate because people voted for him, that’s the sad truth. It kinda blows my mind that you can’t wrap your head around the differences | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 01:41 AM
What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left?I mean the main criticisms I heard during her campaign were that she was only was the vp because she was a minority woman and that she was only the nominee because the public didn’t vote. I voted for her but i feel like those are valid criticisms, not just an excuse. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 01:36 AM
What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left? It’s one thing to not address it, it’s another to detail how you’ll address issues for every other group and leave one out. I’m not arguing for republicans, I hate trump. I’m just responding to why men feel demonized and left behind by progressives. Saying that 25% of the country committing 70% of the suicides is “finding something to be upset by” is….wow. Whoever hurt you I’m sorry, but that’s a really shitty thing to say | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 01:30 AM
What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left?Sorry man but if you think that didn’t matter to a lot of people in this country you’re in an echo chamber. Just terrible optics and made it easier to sway people toward trump who were on the fence. You already have the oldest president in history and now his vp choice is limited to 20% of the country | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 01:19 AM
What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left?I can only speak from my personal experience in academia, but there are basically no scholarships available solely for men. It’s 92% women scholarships for gender specific opportunities. This made sense when men vastly outnumbered women in education, but as of right now it’s 60/40 women. Additionally, 70% of suicides are straight white men. 60% of homeless people are straight men. 50-60% of all drug overdoses are straight white men. I’m not saying a president would actually have the power to fix… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 01:09 AM
What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left?I just thought it was a bad choice to announce it like that. I actually think it was good that he chose a woman of color for the same reasons you do, and I was voting against trump regardless. But I just think it came across as him choosing her because she was a minority and a woman. Played right into the hands of republicans who called her a dei vp for 4 years. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 12:49 AM
What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left?lol what? I said men didn’t care about that…did you read my comment? I think it was a bad look from a political standpoint because it signals that you potentially care more about race/gender than qualifications, but I don’t think that has anything to do with men feeling excluded. Like I said, I think it’s more of an issue to do what Kamala’s campaign did. Detailing how you will fight for every race and gender except for straight white men is definitely excluding men. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/06/26 08:31 PM
What do you think about young men feeling abandoned and demonised by left?Biden literally said his running mate will be a women of color, you can just google it. That being said I don’t think men really cared about that, more so was just a bad look to announce it imo. I think men were more bothered by Kamala’s campaign website detailing how they would advance the right of every group and omitting straight men altogether. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/06/26 08:10 PM
How do you reconcile the 'hypergamy' argument with the rise of high-earning, successful women in modern dating?I think both men and women can be hypergamous in different ways. But it seems that a main issue that women have in modern dating is not being able to get men to commit, and from a man’s perspective it’s hard not to view that as a direct result of only going for who they deem to be the best. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/06/26 04:23 PM
| – | Women, what are your dating issues? Is this something that happens to you in real life or just something you see on the internet? Cause if anyone is actually taking your precautions as an attack then that’s a massive red flag, and if those are the kind of dudes you’re going out with then you’ve gotta have a better filter. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/05/26 05:10 PM |
Men are hugely responsible for "hoeflation."So weird to me when people claim men are scared of dying alone. As a perpetually single dude, thats one of the last things on my mind. Maybe men keep these feelings bottled up more, but I’ve only had one male friend express anxiety to me about turning 30 and needing to find a relationship, whilst I’ve heard the same from countless female friends. I live in a city so perhaps it skews differently in rural areas | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/05/26 09:20 PM
Do you think most guys suffer the consequences of the actions of the few that are dangerous?Absolutely if you’re running an organization or if you have any managerial control you can make a stand. But that’s a tiny percentage of men | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/04/26 03:50 PM
Do you think most guys suffer the consequences of the actions of the few that are dangerous?Real people don’t care, not online people | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/04/26 03:31 PM
Do you think most guys suffer the consequences of the actions of the few that are dangerous?I think in a class setting or a situation when you see someone being harassed in front of you, you’re 100% right. But you’ve gotta understand that it’s extremely rare for men to actually witness this stuff. Someone mentioned how you should correct your male friends if you see them be overly aggressive, but to be honest, if you’re actually a good dude you would’ve ditched that friend a long time ago. People don’t just start acting weird around girls one day, it’s a pattern. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/04/26 03:10 PM
Do you think most guys suffer the consequences of the actions of the few that are dangerous?lol most men don’t give a shit who built the world or who gets credit, we’re just trying to get through the day | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/04/26 03:04 PM
Conspiracy : We will see never seen levels off self improving in the next Years for Men, and it will get really bad.Wild to say it’s always a man in reference in Epstein’s island when Ghislaine was hugely instrumental. Why does she get a pass? Cause she’s not a man? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/04/26 05:27 PM
